Isn't a good enough wrestler? In the last year, he's contested terrific matches with Edge, RVD, Cena, HHH, HBK and Jeff Hardy. I remember him even making Hogan look half decent. He might have been jobbed out prior to his title run, but he looked damn good while doing it. Anyone trying to claim Orton is a bad wrestler after years of top quality matches is, frankly, too blinded by their own hate to be objective. Agreed 1000%. I don't understand the orton hate at all.

I wish he would go heel because he is just good at it and is much more entertaining.

Yeah I thought he was absolutely god awful and sounded like he didn't have a damn clue what he was talking about. I can't believe someone like that can get on tv, much less be on the announce team. I truly think I could pick anyone off the street and have them do a better job than he did. It's simply astonishing that they can't or won't find someone better.

Well of course regal is great. I have been a fan of his since he first showed up in wcw but he sold like mad for regal. That is what I'm referring to because most fans don't consider regal a big star/threat (even though we all know he's a tough sob).

Man, it's amazing when you think about it how close these guys are a lot of times to breaking their necks or something else. I'm always in amazement how they can do it for so long and not kill themselves or the person they are wrestling because it can happen on the simplest of moves if not done right. And if that big bump wasn't enough, he ended up taking two more suplexes from regal, one of which he hit the back of his head again. As usual randy makes everyone look good. Nice match.

Good match between the two, some nice stiff shots and I love Beth using the double arm chicken wing. Only complaint is there seemed to be something with the sound during the match. You could hardly hear the crowd are the girls screaming and stuff. lol at mickie's post match interview spot. They really treated this as a big deal.

I agree. I think HHH will be the first. But wrestling historians will know flair actually had 20 something technically so that will probably never be beaten. I wouldn't be surprised if Flair actually wants him to beat it knowing how close they are. But even if he does, it won't be looked at in the same way as Flair since Flair did it across multiple promotions and over a very long career. He was also about the closest to a real world champion in wrestling as you will ever see since he traveled all around the world defending the title to local heroes and such. With regards to orton. Too soon to say...yes he's young but he is going to have to go a long time without getting injured to accomplish it. Same with Cena But it will be either him or cena that does it next, if they last long enough.

If Jarrett is serious about making the product more serious, the first thing they need to do is get rid of tenay and west. Tenay was ok in wcw when he was the 3rd guy who provided background and insight into wrestlers but as a lead commentator he is just god awful. And what can you say about West except he just fucking sucks. Period. His voice and commentary is like fingers on a chalk board. Those two together make the product a lot more less credible and serious than anything else imho. You can't have a more serious product with those two still at the booth. Those two are the #1 reason why I find it so hard to get interested in tna and watch it, even with all the absurdity in their booking. They are so god awful that even if there is a great match going on, it's ruined by their terrible commentary. I REALLY want tna to succeed because since wwe has had no competition their product has suffered and simply put it's nice to have a choice and alternative to wwe. But so long as they have those two calling matches, I really don't think I can ever stomach watching tna.

i liked that small you suck chant at cena and almost no cheers when he came out. Man I wish they would turn him heel already. If done right, he would probably be a great heal

I was watching the news this evening out of atlanta and a person associated with the investigation put over the wwe saying the wwe was being "very pro-active" and offered to help in their investigation anyway they could. So it might not be as bad as it could be,

well based off Raw, I would think Batista is the heel. The fans are suppose to feel bad for Shawn for doing what he did. That and the fact when Shawn came out to hug Flair, the camera was focused on Batista. I guess they wanted to point out Batista's anger at Shawn. That was the only angle I could see based off the ending to Raw. One would think Orton could seek out revenge seeing that he was wiping away tears when the roster came out. Regardless of who is *supposed* to be face or heel, it's going to be fascinating watching which side the crowd is on. This is really a unique and never before seen angle in the wwe that I can recall. (I don't have nearly as good as memory as many of you do about past storylines though). But to me it seems new and in wrestling where every angle or story line has been done over and over and over, you just change the details a little, it's great when you have something really unique and different. I hope they do this right because if they do it can be good I think.

They're not mine , but I thought you guys would like them. Thanks anyway because I've been looking for some off the air videos and haven't been able to find any up until you posted that. What amazes me about that footage is that flair got a standing ovation for what, at least 30 minutes all together by the fans? An incredible amount of respect shown and You see something like that and it makes you proud to be a fan. You don't see that type of send off in any sport or industry. Would have loved to have been there and can't wait for it on dvd.

commentary though is a huge part of selling your product. Just think about how much Jim Ross adds to the matches..especially those big main events. Even if you don't particularly care about a feud or angle, ross is so good that he can sell it to you to make you care or at least make it tolerable. They, tenay and west, could never do that in the least...in fact they do the exact opposite, they turn people like me away from their product.
