Chris Benoit Dead - Toxicology results released
Oldschool replied to Human Fly's topic in The WWE Folder
Nah, I wouldn't think he's getting removed. What's done is done, he'll only be denied future accomplishments at this rate. If he does get removed from the observer hall of fame, then you might as well get rid of his title histories as well. I say it you erase him from one past, you erase him from all. That makes sense. You can't deny what he achieved, but how can anyone continue to praise a man who murdered his wife and child? -
My Choice-Five Unique Valets in wrestling history Written by RHGLazyAzz [WNWN Writer] These are five very unique Valets in wrestling history. There job so to speak has been to escort their male counter parts to the ring and then just be seen, mostly. Some of these are still living and some have passed own. But never the less, they made their mark in history to lead the way for the current day divas. The list is random order and there is no special reason for the order they are listed in. Valet number one: Sapphire Juanita Wright (10-24-1935 – 10 September 1996) was a professional wrestling manager best known as "Sweet" Sapphire in the World Wrestling Federation, managing Dusty Rhodes from 1989 to 1990. She also wrestled in the independent circuit, known as Princess Dark Cloud. Prior to her involvement with the WWF, Juanita Wright was the first black female to hold a wrestling referee's license in Missouri. Sweet" Sapphire was a valet for Dusty Rhodes, both adorned in black outfits with yellow polka dots. Sapphire appeared in the ring at WrestleMania VI in Toronto in 1990, but it was the first mixed tag match in WrestleMania history. She teamed with Dusty Rhodes to defeat Randy Savage & Sensational Sherri (Martel) with Sapphire pinning Sherri, with some outside help from their friend Miss Elizabeth, who had allied herself with them after a previous incident that precipitated the match. During the Spring and Summer of 1990, Sapphire started receiving gifts from a mysterious benefactor. At the 1990 SummerSlam, Sherri defeated Sapphire via forfeit. Sapphire never appeared for her match, since she was nowhere to be found. Seconds before Rhodes was supposed to face Randy Savage, Ted DiBiase announced to the crowd that he had bought Sapphire. Rhodes stood in the ring puzzled. He then lost to Savage because he didn't have the heart to wrestle after what he had just witnessed. Sapphire appeared in skits where she would do favors for DiBiase, such as ironing his money. Sapphire left the WWF shortly afterwards. She did some wrestling for an independant group in St. Louis as "Princess Dark Cloud". Once, she even wrestled a bear. She was a classic! You couldn't have asked for a better gal. One thing I wish she would have done was teach Dusty how to dance a little better I myself remember them coming to the ring and I always thought they were absolutely to the two worst looking people in wrestling. And then they would dance and girate in the ring, just as Rhodes still will do today. Who will ever forget the polka dots. Not me On September 11,1996 Sapphire suffered a heart attack and passed away. May she rest in peace as I personally know that I will remember her contributions to this sport. Valet Number Two: Sunny Tammy Sytch was born on December 7, 1972 In 1993: Tammy Sytch debuted as Tammy Fytch in Jim Cornette's Smokey Mountain Wrestling in Kentucky.. In Vince's WWF, she recieved the following awards 1996 Slammy Award Winner for "Best Buns"; 1996 Slammy Award Winner for "Brains Behind the Brawn"; 1996 Pro Wrestling Illustrated's Manager of the Year; Most Downloaded Personality on the Internet (Mid-90s); Over the course of her career, she managed many wrestlers, including the ones listed below Chris Candido The Bodydonnas Brian Lee Boo Bradley The Godwinns Billy Gunn Bart Gunn Faarooq Asad L.O.D. 2000 Lance Storm Rhino Andy Douglas Chase Stevens Sabu Lex Luger Tom Brandi Romeo Roselli Tito Santana 1994: Tammy Sytch arrived in the WWF as special events reporter Tamara Murphy, but quickly changed and became SUNNY.. Sunny, and her partner Skip (Chris Candido) would come out in spandex outfits and brag about their fitness and insult the fans. Now Sunny was known to go with the team that had the most to offer her. Her presence at ringside was alot of times in the announce table, heating up the commentators. She would be the perfect match for Jerry Lawler Sunny was definitely consider one of the hottest divas in WWF history. She was even given a breast implant at Mcmahons expense. In 1997, Playboy approached Tammy in regards to posing nude for the adult magazine. Tammy declined the offer as she feels she wasn't ready for it at the time. In June 1999, Tammy auctioned off her breast implants on Ebay. The implants sold for several thousand dollars, however, the winner of the auction never paid. Tammy Sytch signed with World Championship Wrestling during its rebuilding. Later, Chris Candido & Tammy Sytch were fired from WCW after drug paraphanalia was found in a trash can in their dressing room.. Tammy Sytch and Chris Candido were never legally married. Since she was never legally Chris' wife, Chris' parents took care of the funeral arrangements at the time of his death. Candido's parents wanted Chris to be cremated, however, Tammy didn't want that to occur. Chris's mother wanted to divide up his ashes, and that made Tammy very upset. She hasn't talked to Candido's parents since the funeral. However, she does keep in contact with Chris' brother Johnny Candido and his sister. May 7, 2005: Tammy Sytch made her first appearance at a wrestling event since the passing of her husband at a WEW show.. May 8, 2005: Tammy Lynn Sytch was hospitalized after what was being described as a minor nervous breakdown.. Sytch currently holds a desk job at a fitness club All in all, Sunny was absolutely the leader for red hot Divas in Wrestleing events today. Valet Number Three: Missy Hyatt Melissa Hiatt was born on October 6, 1963 in Tallahassee, Florida. She became a fan of professional wrestling while watching the Fabulous Freebirds as a teenager Missy Hyatt had something of a right of passage into the life of a Texas Wrestling Valet when she was caught and publicly spanked by Lance Von Erich (Who was managed by Sunshine at the time). The first wrestler she was a "ring rat" for was Tommy Rich. She had a relationship with Jake Roberts for over a year after meeting him and also dated Road Warrior Hawk. In 1984, she met "Hollywood" John Tatum and started dating him. Hyatt rumored to have also dated Gino Hernandez at one point in her early wrestling days. She wa also married to hot shot Eddie Gilbert, but divorced him A female fan of Rick's, named Robin Greene, finally got her wish and secured a date with Rick Steiner..Missy made her over, and she eventually evolved into "Woman". TRhe relationship failed, but led to even deeper results. Missy was always a beautiful woman. I personally I always referred to her as Tittsy Hyatt in my youth might I add. A semi nude photograph of Missy Hyatt once appeared in the corporate office of WCW.. Missy Hyatt complained to her boss at the time, Eric Bischoff.. When Bischoff failed to take action, Missy Hyatt pursued the matter with Eric Bischoff's boss.. As a result, Eric Bischoff fired Missy Hyatt! --- Missy Hyatt filed a lawsuit against WCW for sexual harassment.. The suit was settled in December 1996, with Hyatt proclaiming that she was "pleased with the outcome".. this also explains a lot of the current day hosility they still have against each other. Below is a list of the wrestlers she managed "Hollywood" John Tatum Eddie Gilbert Sting Rick & Scott Steiner Tom Prichard The Nasty Boys Jerry Sags and Brian Knobbs Jim Fullington To her own credit she was1-Time !BANG! Women's Champion In September 1996, Sandman attacked her and she left the promotion. Hyatt briefly worked as an interviewer for AWF as well as various independent promotions and in 2001, she formed Wrestling Vixxxens, a porn site, with Tammy Lynn Sytch. She left the Vixxxens in 2004 and opened her own site, Missy Hyatt and Friends (missyhyatt.net). It is rumored that Vince McMahon had an affair with Missy, and when he got caught by his wife Linda, he was given an ultimatum: fire Missy or she would file for divorce. Fall 2001: Missy Hyatt's book titled "Missy Hyatt: First Lady of Wrestling" was published.. As of today, she is having real issues with Eric Bischoffs book and is threatening a lawsuit. If you are lucky, you may get to see her perform at a lounge occassionally, and I really do not think it is singing. Valet Number Four: Baby Doll Nickla Roberts, born on February 13, 1962, was the daughter of Nick Roberts and successful womans wrestler Lorraine Johnson.. Nickla Roberts' father (Nick Roberts) was a small time wrestling promotor in Lubbock, Texas.. As a baby, Nickla's crib was placed in the back room where the wrestlers would sit and discuss their matches beforehand.. Nickla Roberts worked for Jim Crockett Promotions where she was known as "Baby Doll" and managed the great Tully Blanchard.. At the age of 22 and standing 5'10",Nickla started in wrestling in the Texas area in 1984 as "Andrea, the Lady Giant". She would destroy men and women in the ring and wore her hair in a punk rock type style, leather pants and jacket, Aerosmith and Motley Crue scarves and T-Shirts, metal studded belts and spiked dog collar and wristbands. She quit that gimmick and showed up in the NWA's Jim Crockett Promotions in 1985 and became the valet for Tully Blanchard. She was known as "The Perfect Ten", Baby Doll. She assisted Blanchard in his feuds against Dusty Rhodes and Magnum T.A.. In 1986, Blanchard added James J. Dillon to manage him and was on the verge of forming the original Four Horsemen. Tully publicly fired her and to get heat slapped her down. Dusty Rhodes came to the rescue and she helped Dusty Rhodes feud with the Horsemen. Later in 1986, at a weekly Monday night TV taping in Greenville, S.C., Jim Cornette and Beautiful Bobby Eaton attacked her with the tennis racket. She returned with The Warlord to get revenge. He was green though, so he was sent away for more training after a brief feud with Big Bubba Rogers. During the 1986 Great American Bash, she teamed with several different wrestlers to battle against Cornette and his Midnight Express. Her team mates included Dusty Rhodes, Magnum T.A., d**k Murdoch, and the Legion of Doom, Hawk and Animal, the Road Warriors. August 1986, Baby Doll turned on Rhodes. During a World Title match in Charlotte, North Carolina, Baby Doll put the foot of Ric Flair on the rope to stop the 3 count. Dusty was in total disbelief of Baby Doll's actions. Flair took advantage of the stunned Rhodes and pinned him for the NWA World Title. After a brief run with Ric Flair, the Crockett booking office sent her to the Central States Territory. Nickla was sent away because of the bookers' (especially Dusty Rhodes) disapproval of her recent marriage to wrestler Sam Houston. I reckon in my opinion, Rhodes might have not want her around because she is truly one class act. She left the NWA for the UWF in 1987 with her new husband, Sam Houston. She traveled the independents with Houston until her return to the NWA to work with the Living Legend Larry Zbyszko, whom she managed in a short feud with Barry Windham over the Western States Title. Baby Doll's marriage to Sam Houston again made her NWA return brief. The NWA office saw it as a conflict of interest. Baby Doll's husband was working for the rival WWF promotion. Roberts gave birth to a daughter, Mikka Tyler (Smitty), in early 1991; a second daughter, Mikala Joy, came the following year. Baby Doll chose to devote her time to her new baby girls instead of returning to wrestling. She divorced Houston in 1994, claiming Houston wanted to "be the life of the party." I personally admire her decision to be a mom at home. Having personally seen her with the Horsemen decades ago, I have always admired her classiness. She has given many off air interviews out of character which were very interesting. Now approaching 45 and her children teenagers is probably a great accomplishment to her credit, and I give her my upmost respect for being a very lady like diva January 29, 2005 - WrestleReunion: Jeff Jarrett w/Baby Doll defeated Tully Blanchard w/JJ Dillon to retain the NWA title.. I think that some of the divas who want to be valets should take some lessons from this true diva. Valet Number Five; Miss Elizabeth Well, here we are at number five. This one is probably more well known to the age group of this forum Elizabeth Ann Hulette (November 19, 1960 – May 1, 2003), known best as Miss Elizabeth, was a U.S. professional wrestling manager and valet. She gained international fame during the late-1980s and early-1990s in the World Wrestling Federation, and the mid-1990's in World Championship Wrestling in her role as the ever-demure and graceful counterpart to the wild and brash pro wrestling character Randy "Macho Man" Savage. Aside from her marriage with Savage, Elizabeth was also briefly married to a non-wrestler. She married Cary Lubetsky, a South Florida attorney, in December 1997. The couple married at the Cuban Hebrew Temple in Miami Beach. The marriage was short-lived as the couple were divorced in 1998. Elizabeth was a full-time valet and did not officially wrestle in a single match. However, she engaged in a notable feud with Sherri Martel. A few occasional catfight segments occurred between the two. When Savage and Martel began a heated feud with "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes and Sapphire, Hulette came to their aid and joined forces with themBy most reports, Savage was extremely protective of Elizabeth backstage, usually forcing her to wait in a locked room while he dressed for matches, and only allowing her to come out when it was time for her to accompany him to the ring While working at International Championship Wrestling shows, she met Randy Poffo, a second-generation performer with the stage name "'Macho Man' Randy Savage"; she would marry him in December 1984 In January 1996, Miss Elizabeth would return to wrestling as a valet for Savage. She would later turn against Savage and become Ric Flair's valet in the Four Horsemen. She later turned against Flair and joined the New World Order (nWo) alongside Savage and Hogan. She soon parted ways with Savage once again when Savage joined The Wolfpac and joined Lex Luger. In 1999, there was a storyline in place for Elizabeth to become the manager of Billy Kidman, 24 years old at the time, but she objected because it would have been a "Mrs. Robinson-type" angle in which she'd be portrayed as an older woman trying to seduce a male much younger than her. According to Kidman, Liz would end up turning on him and siding with Luger again. However, Elizabeth didn't want to be portrayed as an "older woman" even though she was nearly 40 years old at the time. Torrie Wilson eventually became Kidman's valet. Behind the scenes, both Elizabeth and Luger/Larry Pfohl were frequently at odds with WCW head writer Vince Russo regarding certain storyline angles. Hulette had already undergone a sizeable breast augmentation by the time of her black and leather-clad, 'nWo meddling manager' storyline. Russo was often trying to devise angles in which the privately shy Elizabeth would at long last end up in her undergarments before both TV cameras and an arena full of fans. To Russo (a life-long WWF fan, and former WWF co-writer) this was the only fresh angle that the Miss Elizabeth character had left to offer, as this had never been done before. Russo created an angle in which he would control Elizabeth and her contract against her will. Russo's original intent for the angle was to engage her in promiscuous situations on-camera. However, Pfohl nixed all angles which required her to strip; he also tried to nix angles in which she would have to wrestle. In spite of their objections, Elizabeth took part in her very first wrestling matches. She squared off against the likes of Madusa, Daffney and Rhonda Singh -- all having far more athletic ability and in-ring experience than Hulette -- all resulting in humiliating losses. By June 2000, Pfohl (who had a 7-figure, guaranteed contract) had such a strained relationship with WCW creative/management that he and Hulette were told not to return to work -- while still collecting their full paychecks. However, WCW had a release option in Elizabeth's non-guaranteed contract that repeated every 90 days, allowing it to unilaterally fire her. WCW let her go at the next available opportunity: She was released from her contract on August 17, 2000, in what was officially labelled a cost-cutting move. The couple had a heavily promoted on-air wedding at SummerSlam 1991 in New York's Madison Square Garden, and she figured prominently into Savage's brutal feud with Jake "The Snake" Roberts that fall. However, their relationship only lasted another year, with their divorce becoming official in 1992. According to Hogan, Savage blamed him for influencing Elizabeth to seek a divorce from Savage. Hogan stated that as he was preparing to film the movie Mr. Nanny, Hogan's wife Linda asked if Elizabeth wanted to help babysit their children while Hulk was in Miami, shooting the movie. Apparently, Elizabeth did not bother to return home to Savage During a lot of her WWF time, she was always quite and unspoken. She preformed stictly as a valet. A very beatiful woman, and she did not have to expose herself to win popularity. I really dont even think that her miniskirts were really all that short. Even in her WCW stay, they started to fix her up to look even younger. Now being 50 years old myself, I dont think there is anything more beautiful than a sexy looking older lady. August 2000: Miss Elizabeth was released by World Championship Wrestling after Lex Luger walked out of WCW. May 1, 2003: Elizabeth dies in hospital hours after being found in Lex Luger's condo, passed out as a result of an apparant overdose. Elizabeth Hulette's death was ruled due to an overdose of a combination of pain pills and alcohol. This was absolutely a tradegy. I somehow manage to blame it on Lugar, but when I calm down I have to put the blame where it belongs. For one who had such a promising road ahead. I have no doubts that she could have returned to WWE. Such a waste. Rest in Peace Miss Elizabeth Well, there you have them. These ladies were all pioneers in one way or another. From tradgey to porn queens, I guess you never know where life will take you. I hope the surviving ones good luck with their endeavors and want to pass my condolences to the friends and families of the ones that have passed on. I hope you guys enjoyed the article. Randy

Chris Benoit Dead - Toxicology results released

This might give a little more insight, though we will never know for sure what happened in the final days of Chris Benoit and his wife and son... [qoute] [News Update] Benoit's Son Had Fragile X Syndrome From News1130.com: We may never know the reasons behind Chris Benoit's decision to take the life of his wife, young son and himself. However, a Delta woman, who was in contact with the Canadian wrestler a few years ago, said she might have some insight into the family. Pam Winthrope said Benoit's son had a genetic condition called Fragile X syndrome. Winthrope said she has experienced the condition first hand and knows how it can tear a family apart. Fragile X syndrome is an inherited mental impairment. Pam's 12-year-old son has the condition and she said in an effort to shed light on the syndrome, her husband called Chris Benoit about five years ago. She said, "We talked to him because I was trying to set up a support group in BC and in Canada, we only have a couple of them. My husband was struggling when we got diagnosed with our son, and Chris was struggling with his. They talked for a few minutes and then he said he didn't want to be a public face for Fragile X, he just wanted to keep it really, really quiet." Winthrope said she couldn't believe the news that Benoit had taken his life along with his wife and 7-year-old son. She added that families can be torn apart by the disease because it's very difficult to find help and support. She said, "You as a parent have to go out there and find what's available and it's not easy --they don't tell you." Authorities offered no motive for the killings, which were spread out over a weekend, and would not discuss Benoit’s state of mind. According to WebMD.com, "Fragile X Syndrome is a defect of the X chromosome which causes mild mental retardation. The disorder occurs more frequently and severely among males than females. This condition is the leading known familial cause of mental retardation in the United States. Language delays, behavioral problems, autism or autistic-like behavior (including poor eye contact and hand-flapping), enlarged external genitalia (macroorchidism), large or prominent ears, hyperactivity, delayed motor development and/or poor sensory skills are among the wide range of symptoms associated with this disorder." While the above information has not been verified by authorities, this may explain why the Daniel was being given Human Growth Hormone as reported by Fayetteville District Attorney Scott Ballard in an interview with ESPN.com. Ballard said that Daniel was apparently found with needle marks in his arm and was being given HGH because the family thought he was undersized. It may also shed light onto why Chris didn't want someone else raising his son and made the fateful decision to kill him. As irrational and twisted as it may sound, he may have felt he was saving his son from the double-blow of losing his parents through a murder-suicide and being subject to being raised by people who didn't understand or care for his condition. -

They help because of the ads on the web pages. Similar to the google ads used to help pay for this forum, only the money goes to charity. There are also links on those sites to help feed starving people and cure cancer... -
