Women who were accused of being witches were hung and burned in the same fashion way before the KKK was using it against black people. So I guess you're wrong. Link to a blog with a good opinion on the matter Is anyone here defending that effigy? I thought not.

Yes, it should. I don't know why they did it on the front. There are also two right hands in the thing too. But I'm also doing a bike race tomorrow, which means that I'll be the fastest mother fucker in the whole city.

Its just a shame that the new young registered voters only care about their vote for Obama..I doubt any of them have any clue about any other political race/issue, yet Im sure they'll all manage to find the name with a D next to it. Wait, this is just a stupid fucking post all around. Seriously, if you think that voter apathy is an exclusively Democratic phenomenon, then you truly are a lunatic. But I don't think there was much doubt about that anyways.

Marvin, don't be stupid. If you watch one second of the news, the presidential candidates are shoved down your throat. Just kind of by design, people are going to know more about the presidential candidates than the local ones. Local candidates have extremely limited funding and rarely receive much play time on local news networks, if any. It's up to the people to take the extra step to figure it out, and we all know how much we can rely on the average person to do that. But don't loop me into that category about young people who don't care about anything else besides the presidential vote. I helped my parents make a decision in 2002 on the mayor of Huntington Beach as well as several other local figures. I was 11.

It really depends on your state's priorities. Voting is easy in California because they go through great expense in the effort to make as many people vote as possible. In Nevada, the concern is to spend as little money as possible on elections, and voting can be inconvenient at times. I don't want to be that guy, but I think serving the greater democratic good is a little more important than trying your patience in line. Watch porn on your iBerry.

It's not unpatriotic to not vote, but it is just kind of lazy not to. Seriously, no matter who you are voting for, you should always make it an effort to vote. Voting is the easiest thing to do, and you can virtually always get time off work to do it. Hell, just show up and vote for your local comptroller or something.

Freakonomics author Steven Levitt is also a professor at the UoC. Steven Levitt describes himself as a ROGUE ECONOMIST. Steven Levitt even SAYS THAT CHILD CARSEATS ARE FOOLISH. Steven Levitt--professor at the UoC. Barack Obama--professor at the UoC. Coincidence? I think not. ----------------------------------- 538 gives Obama a 74% chance of winning Florida, by the way.
