Well Jimmy Wang Yang and Shannon Moore aren't exactly an exciting topic of discussion. And yes...I picked those two, because I actually like Miz and Morrison. Oh, I don't know... Guys... I have something potentially self-nullifying to admit here... amongst a collection of smarks. I re-watched the final match from last nights RAW, and I realized that I was actually excited to see Jeff hit the Twist Of Fate, the Swanton, and get the pin. Not in a, well that was some greatly executed offense lab-analyzed way that we often do here. I mean, I was actually edging closer to the TV, with the speakers turned up, really and truly feeling how much the crowd was getting into Hardy. I myself... was marking out. Not in a sarcastic way. I mean, fuck, it was like being a 12 year-old all over again. I've been following The Hardys for a really long time, and for some reason its actually... really exciting to see Jeff get his shot at the real MAIN EVENT. I know there's about a .001% chance of him winning cleanly and getting the strap. But for some reason, I don't care. I'm glad to be seeing it happen anyway. Be gentle, boys.

I was actually very, very bummed by the news of what happened. My sincerest hope is that some good will come of it, for the business as a whole, in the wake of the tragedy. Those two really tore into Kennedy. I can see where they're coming from, I suppose. But my question is, does anyone else here think that Kennedy is really that dangerous? The part about Michaels taking Kennedy over the ropes forcibly was something even I noticed, and I remember thinking the same thing that Bryan talked about.

Wrestler of the year I like Jeff Hardy for this one. The guy's star is on the rise, and he's always entertaining. He gets bigger pops than just about anyone else on the roster, and he absolutely wrecks himself to put the match over. Worst wrestler of the year The Great Khali. I know he's huge and that's limiting. But he's absolutely boring to watch, and he really can't do anything but clothelines, big boots and chops. Most Improved Wrestler MVP. Most definitely. The guy has grown in leaps and bounds. I really think his feud with Benoit helped with that, and it definitely shows. Most Underachieving Wrestler Kennedy. Wow, what the hell happened with this guy? I guess the 'roid scandal is a big weight to carry, for now. Best Tag Team Do tag teams even exist anymore? Its really hard to tell at this point, but I'll go with The Hardys. Worst Tag Team Matt Hardy & MVP. I'm really glad that shit is over, because their "rival team-mates" tandem was even worse than Michaels and Cena. Best Heel Edge. The shit he's pulled at the last two PPVs has solidified that position for the near future. Plus, what greater heel move is there than to subject us to his romance with Vickie Guerrero. I submit, that there is none worse. Best Face Jeff Hardy, for reasons stated above. Best Diva Mickie James, my girl. I hated to see her lose at Armageddon, but its not like I didn't see it coming. She's got great skills, she's beautiful, and her psycho-lesbian alter-ego from years past was awesome. I like her kiss of the death gimmick too, right before delivering the finisher. Worst Diva Kristal, but who cares because she's gone anyway. Match of the Year Hardy Boys vs. WGTT Tag Team Ladder Match at One Night Stand. I know no-one will agree with me. Oh well. Worst Match of the Year Cena's match with Great Khali. KHALI TAPS BAH GAWD!!! I like Cena... hell I might be one of the few people on the board who does. But that match stunk to high-hell. Quote of the Year I was really drunk when I was watching, so I can't quote directly... but Kennedy's "worked-shoot" style promo on HBK a few weeks ago was awesome. Best Comeback Edge. He's made a huge impact, for better or worse, and I'm actually glad to have him around again. I just wish he'd give up on his lame running hug "spear" and go back to using a different finisher. Mark out moment of the year CM Punk's title victory over Morrison. It was satisfying to finally see Punk win after all the attempts. Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho (WWE Championship) I honestly see Orton retaining, most likely by DQ or count-out. I figure The E is thinking it'd be too soon for a title change. I do believe Jericho will eventually get the better of Orton, though. Triple Threat Match for the World Heavyweight Championship Batista vs. Edge vs. Undertaker This is the toughest to call, but I'm going with an Edge victory. He'll find a way to turn Taker and Batista against each other, although I'm quite certain that they'll be taking turns kicking his ass early on. Triple H vs. Jeff Hardy I see Triple Haitch winning clean, but Jeff gives him "the match of his life" and gets a big rub from it and "respect" or whatever. I just think after putting over Cena big at WM 22, Trips isn't going to be doing the job clean again any time soon. ECW Champion CM Punk & Kane vs. Big Daddy V & Mark Henry This'll be one of those matches where the outcome really means nothing, so you'll definitely see the faces pick up the win. Henry will eat the chokeslam and Punk will most likely get the pin. Shawn Michaels vs. Mr. Kennedy Kennedy wins dirty and keeps the feud going. Finlay vs. The Great Khali Finlay will win, and hopefully end this retarded feud once and for all. Mickie James vs. Beth Phoenix Mickie wins by DQ, and so of course, Beth retains until Candice Michelle comes back. MVP vs. Rey Mysterio (U.S. Championship) MVP beat Benoit clean in their blow-off, so even though MVP is a heel, I can see him picking up this win clean. Wouldn't make much sense for MVP to lose to Rey anyway, given that his title loss will only steal thunder from Matt's big comeback.

I figure they'll feed either Stevie or Tommy to Shelton right about now. Ehh... maybe Balls. As much as I don't want to see Stevie squashed, I'd like to see him in action again.
