Well if we're just throwing shit at the wall, Jimmy Wang Yang should win it and have a TLC Match with Jeff Hardy for the WWE Title.I was just kidding. I'm not Nostradamus, so all my "predictions" are mostly just for my own amusement.
-
Somebody on a 4 month losing streak winning the most important gimmick match in the company?Yup, can't see any problems there!
Why try to make sense of it anymore?
-
In the prediction thread, I went out on a limb and predicted MVP to win the Rumble and turn babyface. I think it'd be the best way to really invigorate the character, and no better place to start a winning streak, either.
-
JBL's not winning the title. I think HBK is going to accidentally cost him the matchI think its more like he'll "accidentally" cost him the match, right?
-
Sad thing is, injuries are the best thing to happen to most of the top guys who start getting stale (Cena, Orton, Batista, Edge).Triple H needs one soon.
Come on, wishing injuries on someone is pretty bad mojo. But I will admit, I won't shed any tears when Hunter winds down into "retirement". Of course, everyone who complains about Vince being on TV too much will have to deal with Chairman Helmsley in the future.
-
I read Steph's, Dixie Carter's and Vince's interviews. It really seems like Vince was the only one coming across as uncooperative. I mean hell, I don't want him to lose everything per se', but a bit of a wake-up call probably wouldn't hurt.

Being a shitty wrestler didn't help either.I agree with you, to an extent. I think he's great when he's on offense, but the guy doesn't sell very well. He botches the bumps a lot, and he seems to be kind of half-way sandbagging his opponents at times. While some might think this makes his work more believable, well... we've all seen the results.

$1.43/gal for reg. unleaded. not bad, I suppose.
-
Given the buildup it should be a good match either way, but somebody has to lose and I don't really see where either of them goes as the loser. If Punk loses the whole tournament was worthless; if Regal loses his "I look for good competition to be a respectable champion" takes a major hit as he'll no longer have the championship.Unless there's some kind of gimmick for the match, I'm guessing there's a DQ finish, leading to a rematch at the Rumble.

I have to ask, since Kozlov was brought up via that PPV poster...Am I the only one here who preferred when Kozlov came out with no entrance music, video, or anything like that?
Yeah, just a spotlight that followed him in. It was corny, but it worked.

Sorry if this was posted somewhere already, but I found this amusing. Linked from the Observer site:It's a vid that pays tribute to everyone who left WWE in the last year. Man, you could make quite an indy promotion out of all the guys they released or "came to terms" with.
That was pretty funny.

When I was growing up, since it was on Thanksgiving and always multi-man matches, the Survivor Series was always the #2 PPV. Then, over the years, when they added the "Winner Main-Events 'Mania" stip, The Rumble took that spot. Summerslam has always been 3rd or 4th for me.I love Survivor Series as long as there are plenty of "traditional survivor series" matches. It's probably my second favorite PPV after WM. Summerslam is alright, but with too many PPVs throughout the year now, its lost most of its impact.

Kennedy's biggest problem other than his various injuries is that he's never evolved past his initial schtick ("MIIIISTTER KEENNNNNEEDDYYY!"). That was an amusing bit to introduce him to viewers but he needed to move past it quickly, but never did. Now his act is old and annoying, and he's injured all the time to boot.I think the injuries are the worst part of all.

Anyone want to guess what Kizarny smells like?
-
heh She got the Orton Knee Of DoomImagine if McCool basically became the female version of what Orton's doing now. That might make something interesting.
-
I'm going to try and predict Kizarny's career in the WWE.
January 2009 - June 2009
Initial strong push. Mid-card title opportunity where he comes up short. Possible tag-teaming with Boogeyman.
June 2009 - September 2009
Kizarny turns heel on Boogeyman. Pointless and shitty feud ensues.
October 2009 - November 2009
Kizarny is relegated to jobbing in dark matches,
Decmber 2009
WWE wishes Kizarny well in his future endeavours.
-
Vlad cost HHH the title? That's news to me!Well, obviously you can't blame fellow babyface Hardy.
Kozlov seems like he's probably an amazing technician, but he just can't get anybody either behind him or to hate him.
Helms sold the headbutt pretty good, though.
-
So how long until Zeke turns on Kendrick? Maybe another month or so?
-
I know that she does.Ezekiel Jackson reminds me a lot of Curtis Hughes.
I get the feeling that your telecast must have started a few minutes before everyone else's.
-
I've never much cared for McCool, but I don't really know if she "sucks".
-
At least now they can push Khali more in India since Khali can talk and show some personality without wrecking his gimmick.Yeah, makes sense. Wasn't he always portrayed as a babyface in India?
By the way, lets give it up to Hawkins & Ryder for somehow managing to keep their jobs way past their sell-by date.
