Yes, it is. But Joss Whedon is a TV/Movie guy, so I suppose it's one of those "crossover" deals. Maybe we should move it over to the Comics folder. Having never read a comic by Whedon, I withhold my opinions on his coming on to New X-Men. The only thing I can think of is that it'll provide a decent contrast to Chris Claremont's two X-Books. Still, I don't see Whedon lasting for more than a year. Unless he's dedicated like JMS, which is hard to believe since Whedon's been campaining for a Firefly movie, is overseeing Angel, and who knows what else.

Maybe he was riding on Lady Jaye's push, I dunno. I was only saying that Duke came back in the same movie - so the only guys that got a decent push were Roadblock and Falcon - and we never saw Falcon again. I agree with you about cartoon Springer. Comic book Springer though was a badass. You can say the same about Ultra Magnus, actually. Of course, neither sucked as bad as Wheelie, but that goes without saying.

No, that's his daughter, Marissa Fairbourne...

Geez that guy had way too much time on hands. Plus, "Lost his smile?" Prime DIED, dammit. Doesn't that count for anything? OK, sure he came back from the dead and reclaimed the Matrix from Rodimus, but Rodimus wasn't a draw and they needed to pop a rating. It's not like Duke, who heard about his impending death and got the writers to rebook it as a coma. Duke totally held Flint down...

Bear in mind that I've only had US cable for 1-1/2 years when I ask this: Who's John Henson?

When Customers know more about products
starvenger replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in General Chat
I don't bother asking people for help at the big box stores. When I picked up DS9 season 7 I just headed straight to the "TV DVD box sets" section and found it. Anyways, for some reason this reminds me of when I worked at Business Depot. During the Back to School sale (where it gets crazy in the store) I got stuck in the "papers" aisle - when my main job (and training) was in the copy center. Not exactly a "fun" experience from my perspective, as I got hit with all sorts of fun/stupid questions to which I had no clue how to answer. -
For no real reason, I watched PCU with Jeremy Piven on commentary. He and the director recorded separate tracks, and I can see why - Piven pretty much rips the director every chance he gets for not letting the cast improvise scenes and going wild with the movie. Actually one of the better commentaries that I've listened to.

No, he's proving that he's STILL one of the best in the league. McNair is the one who is proving that he should be considered one of the best in the league. All I can say about Farve tonight is: holy shit. The Raiders just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time to face a man on a mission. Speaking of QBs, that stat on Rob Johnson is unreal. 1 sack every 6.7 snaps? Poor bastard.

The orange Islanders alternate jersey. It makes the Fisherman jersey look brilliant in comparison. I also hate the Canucks current logo, but they have appeased me somewhat by sticking their original logo on the unis as shoulder patches.

Once again, living in Houston sucks for watching hockey, but I'm still proud of the way the Leafs have continued their winning ways...

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation 2??

So, what's worse - made for TV sequels or those Disney direct-to-video animated sequels? -
There is nothing that I can say here that won't make me sound like a lecherous 30-year old, so I won't...

Funny side note. Chris Potter, who played Caine's son on Kung Fu: The Legend Continues, was the voice of Gambit on the X-Men animated series.

Bingham Glad to Host 'Lingerie Bowl'

As much as I'd like to see women rolling around in a game of tackle football, if they're gonna be wearing padding it's not worth it. Change it to touch football and let the boobs bounce around in lacy, supportive lingerie... -
You can vote more than once on American Idol, so it's not a great comparison...

Well, at least he could drink in Canada before he got called up to "the Show". And yeah, he's the one that does the dance. He's got potential, at least - I don't see the young big lugs on Raw developing much farther so guys like him and Orton are basically what the WWE will have to build on in the future once the HHH (is it a HHH-MacMahon facgime again?) finally decides to give the spotlight to someone else.

LT's in the wrong conference. I rate him ahead of Green and Davis in the NFC, but the three AFC guys are all having better seasons. To be honest, I think that Green would be Pro Bowl bound if he were on an AFC team as well. Still, Tomlinson is just unlucky that 3 other guys in his conference are having damn good seasons as well...

You could make a case for LaDanian Tomlinson, but it's not as if Lewis, Holmes and Portis are unworthy...

Interesting that he's coaching the final 2 games though...

Agreed. Quite dodgy. Well, we'll see where this goes... -
Funny thing is that real schnapps isn't all sweet and shit like it is here in North America. If you ever try schnapps in Europe you'll be quite surprised...

I'm not. Ramage should have known better because he was drunk. Heatley should have known better because he was driving recklessly. Different situations, similar results.

The One and Only Survivor: Pearl Islands Thread
starvenger replied to fairtoflair7's topic in Television & Film
OK, here's the list that SurvivorNews.net reported: Green Tribe Colby, Amazon Jenna*, Kathy, Lex, Rich*, Shii Ann Blue Tribe Ethan*, Borneo Jenna, Jerri, Rudy, Rupert, Tina* Red Tribe Alicia, Amber, Amazon Rob, Boston Rob, Sue, Tom Ken and Sandra were alternates. -
I'll say the same thing about Ramage that I said about Heatley - toss him in the slammer for a few years...

The One and Only Survivor: Pearl Islands Thread
starvenger replied to fairtoflair7's topic in Television & Film
Shii Ann is on there because frankly she's more interesting than Sandra. And because they needed someone from Thailand, and there are about 3 people (and 1 rack) from that one that would even warrant consideration: Brian, Surfer Robb and Shii Ann (and Erin's boobs). Plus Shii Ann was at least THINKING strategy whereas Sandra was entirely "under the radar". Sandra has a mouth, and that's fun, but the fact is that Sandra won by riding coattails, voting with the majority, by being seen as a total non-threat, and most importantly, because Lil WANTED her to win (in essence, it was a 7-1 vote for Sandra). Brian or Robb would be great, but I like the mix of personalities they've got on there (for the guys). Plus if the Robfather and Rob C go far it's sure to be good television.
