And it turns out that UFCJunkie was right

Yeah, but I think as far as 19 Entertainment is concerned, the album is secondary to the show itself. They're probably in the red from Taylor and Katherine's albums, but it doesn't matter because they made a mint off of sponsorships, ratings et al. Not to mention Daughtry's album.

yeah, I agree...like I said, I think SImon was way wrong on this one, for once. Phil was kinda... Phil. By the end I didn't remember what he did, and that is probably not a good thing. Bad song choice + no passion + admitting you sang like shit + last week's shenanigans = Jordin safe. Simon was pimping her even after slamming her. Blake... Simon got it exactly right. Guy's got a huge set of bollocks. Personally I thought it was great, but I can see where the hate is coming from.

But what's with the hex numbers? -
This has nothing to do with the current season, but former contestant Jessica Sierra was arrested for throwing a cocktail glass. Oh and for possession of coke.

No worries. Two months is forever in sports. Might as well add the undercard stuff there as well: Chris Lytle vs. Jeff Joslin Rich Franklin's Hetero (maybe) Life Partner vs. Diego Saraiva

Was it just me, or was that psychiatrist... Cameron from Ferris Bueller?

That's exactly it, although in theory we don't know for certain whether Jordin and Chris were bottom two (notice that they never said that). However perception means a lot here and it's a virtual lock now that Jordin stays on past this week since her fans will probably vote more to "keep" her in the competition. Me, I hope she goes because she seems like a Degarmo type to me, only a little less fake.

OK, I'm gonna be nitpicky here, but has anyone noticed that the promos have Hiro and Ando going to 2012? Isn't that SIX years into the future if everything in the "present" has happened before the 2006 elections?

The Amazing Race: All-Star Edition
starvenger replied to Spaceman Spiff's topic in Television & Film
That's an accomplishment for the BQs. Charla and She Who Must Not Be Named were next to last for about three legs in a row at the start, and could have (SHOULD HAVE) been eliminated any one of those times but for dumb luck (especially at the post office Roadblock). As long as Charla and SWMNBN don't win, I'm OK. I'd love to see Dustin and Kandice win, because they ran the best race by far, but I wouldn't threaten bodily harm on the producers or anything if Eric and Danielle win, like I would with that other team. I appreciated the lingering looks at the sweaty bodies of the BQ and Danielle after the scrubbing. The cousins had a bit of a brain fart at the Roadblock, btw. Mirna had only done 4 to that point, and now Charla's maxed out. BQs have an advantage over the other two there in that either one can do the task. Eric is probably hoping that the final RB has nothing to do with geography (specifically, flags) and memory. BTW, the final stops: -
As much as I love DS9, Nog the Ferengi would get crushed by Antonio Roderigo "Minotauro" Nogeira...

I'm pretty sure that Fox's whole TV strategy was the model for Crash TV. "Let's make a sitcom about women in prison! Let's try to make a spinoff of Married... with Children featuring characters noone has ever seen before! Apprentice is a hit - let's do one with Richard Branson AND do a parody at the same time! Let's throw tons of money at Chris Carter/James Cameron/Joss Whedon and hope that fanboys will watch our show at 9pm Fridays! Let's try to make Kiefer Sutherland a badass!" Something like that. (edit) and fyi, I'm not joking about that first one

According to Jens, he only showed up at MFS twice

Wang show he stereotypical Asian by demonstrating wawlior spilit. And by being fucking stubborn. I'm convinced that all Chinese people (myself included of course) are born stubborn.

Here's a posting of the press release on IP And here's a column featuring LT's favourite blogging punching bag, Reverend Sick There's good/bad news though - it's on tape delay, since a 9/10 pm GMT start would translate to 4/5pm ET. Not exactly prime time.

I'm pretty sure that for every actor with a holding deal, there are a hundred just looking for work. Also cancellation comes with the territory. I'm sure actors get emotionally invested into a show, but when it's cancelled, it's probably best to move on and look for the next job.

I dropped New X-Men after I saw some Skottie Young preview art for it. Total hack artist that uses a "cartoony" style to disguise the fact that he has no sense of how to draw a body properly. Nova crosses into the world of The Initiative in issue 2. Can't wait for that.

Still... Shennanigans. Agreed there. Not a good look for her actually.

It must be a 6-Way Electrified Cage Match then.

Yeah, and if he doesn't live in the States? He can't watch it. I really wish they posted edit times because I added that edit literally within 10 seconds of first submitting the post. Yeah, I edited my previous post. My apologies.

Yeah, and if he doesn't live in the States? He can't watch it. (Edited because it's not worth arguing about)

Very helpful, Dragon. (Edit: This was written before Dragon did his edit. Confused yet?) OK, grabbing this from TWoP since they do a great job of condensing things down (although they can be TOO snarky at times):

What are you trying to do, make me root for Hughes?

Funny, Rudo (he's talking about the Heroes thread) Funny clip as well. Love the random cameos.

To do that, they'd probably have to get rid of Sylar first, because two guys who have a shitload of acquired powers and have turned evil is probably a bit of overkill. Still, it can be done. Sylar's a serial killer because of how his powers work (he somehow absorbs his victim's DNA, hence the occasional weird voice). Since Peter's powers work differently, I'd assume that his "madness" would take a different form. HE'D probably be the one who takes over the world because he's got all the powers. Then again, maybe Peter's powers are more Ultra Boy than Mimic, and he can only use one at a time. Which probably opens up a whole new can of worms like asking how the healing factor kicked in. Speaking of powers, I'm going back a couple of eps, but when he stopped the taser, was that telekinesis or Hiro's time power?
