OK, why was he singing "Endless Love" to the tune of "Clocks"? As for that Fallout Boy comment... that fucking Arms Race song is in the Top 10? Payola sucks.
-
I remember Josh Gracin and Ruben doing the same song in season two. Personally, I prefer Mark Burnett's solution to this on Rock Star - there's x of you, there's x songs, have at it. But of course it's done to help fufil the "reality" quotient of the show, so... yeah.

Diana Ross is mentoring, so it's probably Motown week. If I can find a song list I'll post it here...

I think that for the most part my brain has finally activated the "suspend disbelief" button when it comes to timing on 24. Nice to see Aaron back, even if it's just a brief appearance.

The Amazing Race: All-Star Edition
starvenger replied to Spaceman Spiff's topic in Television & Film
After 'Bama made it into the final 3, nothing can surprise me. Blake and Paige... they were on my list for an All-Star season. There have been some hot women on this show, but Paige had a real girl-next-door vibe going. BTW, I found it hilarious that only Lyn signed the letter to the BQ. I mean, did Karlyn hate those girls so much that she couldn't even be bothered to sign the damn thing? My theory about Patrick, btw, is that he's repressing some feelings for Rob. -
By the way, Silvestri's art on The Initiative is wildly inconsistent. Brilliant in some parts, Lifeldish in others. Silvestri may have helped "invent" the 90's "dynamic pose" style, but like ol' Rob, he hasn't bothered trying to improve since then.

HAH! The 21st century one should be "Only Superboy stays dead, at least until the lawsuit's dropped".

More Duchovny on SNL as Goldblum, basically.

Sure, why not? He saved the world with a Powerbook - now he can do it and listen to iTunes at the same time...

It's been uploaded to youtube now...

DC Comics announce three animated movies

I've never seen Ultimate Avengers but have always wanted to.... what is so bad about them? Bad voice acting, cliched situations, horrid dialogue, and they don't nearly live up to the comic stories they're based on. On the flipside, they didn't come out months late... -
I'd have said a bald head and purple/green armor, but sure.

"Hey - he's not conforming to the company dress code!"

NBC put the monologue up on YouTube if you want to watch it. Sudekis' "Jim smirk" is spot on.

So did anyone read Frontline #11?

You just know that it'll involve Rob and Amber. "Use your boobs!" Genius. -
OK, after watching Global's Sunday airing of Heroes, I have a couple of non-spoiler things to say: - Fuck you, Global, for airing the show in fullscreen. - Fuck you, Global, for not having HD yet - Fuck you, Global, for trying to make me watch Falcon Beach - And a Fuck you in general to Global for the virtual football ads. As for show-related stuff, all I can say is: Holy shit.

Whoa, dude. You're back.

Leslie would've made the Final 10 in CanIdol. I think I called stripper/porn last year...

Nevermind, I got a hold of him... -
You know what's funny? Noone's mentioned anything about the Spider-Man 3 "preview" that's supposed to debut with the show next week. The captioning called him H.R.G. originally, so it came from the writers.

It's possible that Linderman owns Primatech, but HRG and Roberts don't know this.
-
I think that they actually broke the season down into three "arcs" with one all-encompasing story connecting the season. I agree with the Malcolm McDowell sentiment. Would've loved to see Bill Duke as Linderman though.
