The only dickery you'll see from Batman can be found here. But you're right - he's not saying it to be a dick or anything - he's basically making a point and trying to rile up Superman into becoming the leader that he can be.

Dunno, I thought I heard "heavyweight returns". But you could be right.

Which also leads to the question of who's out? From the looks of things it could be Brad that can't go due to the cut. As for who's coming back... I'll say it's Dan. He fought tentatively against Seth, but compared to Tom and Mike he showed a helluva lot more heart (and wasn't fully buried by Dana "Poochie" White). Mind you, he seemed to show less heart that Rob or Kerry, but neither of those guys are able to continue, so I'd say it's likely him.

Anything's possible. The Miller/Lee was guaranteed to move product for the first few issues. And with Frank Cho drawing a story arc for New Avengers, I'm sure it'll still sell well...

He had carte blanche to do what he wanted on something that he didn't own, so I hardly see that as getting screwed. He got to level New York, kill Magneto and indirectly fuck around with Captain America's continuity. And then he got to leave without cleaning all that up. It's a good deal as far as I'm concerned. If you mean his legacy on the title is screwed given that Beak will likely be the only Morrison mutant left, well then yes it is.

Don't retired players' salaries remain on the team's books? I seem to remember the Raptors being saddled with Olajuwon and Mourning's salaries...

The title of episode 5 (10/25) is We're Getting Out of the Country, Girls so I guess they'll finally leave the U.S. then. Nothing against the U.S. adventure, but this isn't what I'm expecting in this show. I want to see people try to communicate in other countries by speaking English loud and slow, dammit!! -

I must confess though - I laughed when they did the dual Walkens... -
Guess it did, and I can't say why. But then again the whole Paris Hilton thing mystifies me...

Ah! I guess he was!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Poor choice of words aside, I wonder if HE was offered money for sex?

What, you can't call him NPH? -
Also, Richard Belzer was great as a sleazy reporter. I'm assuming that $60 is MSRP, so it's probably gonna be around $40. I wonder how dated the FX is gonna look?

The War At Home. Which was pretty much a lock considering it's sandwiched into Animation Sunday. -

Yeah, now we only have to worry about Wally Bransen and Papa Paolo from dropping dead. Linz (Ohio) now have zero excuse for not winning this. -
If they bring in Jorge, then their LW division would consist of him, Florian and Karalexis. And I think Jens Pulver if you're counting the "titleholder"

It's pretty boring, though it does have it's moments. I hope Threshold stays for a while. I'm really loving that show. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm hoping Threshold goes. Acting is good, the story isn't. Die, Braga!! -

Mind you, they'd have to hang their heads in shame if they LOSE this Race, wouldn't they? -
Words.Cannot.Describe. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Agreed. Especially since Fratboy was RIGHT THERE crying like a girl...

I believe that Breckin Meyer and Ted McGinley are on that list as well. Although to be fair he Ted has not been death on every show he's been on. -
Yeah, I think Rogan and Goldberg may have mentioned that a couple dozen times. Still, I'm not sure if the fight says how much better Franklin was at standup, or how bad Tanner is...
-
Oh, and I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that I enjoyed the 'Unleashed' matches aka 'The Rich Franklin Show'. Tanner's strategy in the last match almost seemed to be "I'll bludgeon Ace's fists with my face".
-
I was thinking that too. Presumably Luke has gotten better with the ground game for his Ultimate Finale match. Assuming that they have enough welterweights to have the matches, that is.
