my kids are pretty awesome, once they got over the whole 'baby' phase. babies suck. i didn't have any health issues (other than mental ones ONOEZ) but my oldest was quite a large baby and they figured 6 days in labour and four plus hours of pushing was more cost-effective than doing a c-section. on contrast, my youngest only took three days of being in labour and about three pushes to extract from my body. but yeah, that first one... yeah. like surviving torture. the bad kind of torture at that. but it's no longer an issue.

I've always heard that having babies is a wonderful experience...my wife has told me this, her friends have mentioned it as well...perhaps it's just you? i know it's not *just* me, but yes, i had an exceptionally hard time.

wait, are you having these kids... or is your woman having them? i had two boys and stopped there because having babies is terrifying. and i'm glad i didn't have girls.

how that's a holiday! the only fireworks i saw this 4th were ones my neighbours lit. but i heard a lot more than i saw, something about close houses and trees. it was like urban warfare out there. amazing. then D came home and she was drunk/insane and started screaming, which got Tiny the other roomate screaming, which got people throwing punches outside my (closed) bedroom door... with all the heavy artillery outside... it amused me as much as it scared me. for the record, i just sat here smoking pot. oh, and for the record 2, i get my own place in Aug. thank goodness.

and the ratings come in for each segment. that's the part i don't understand. yeah, the ratings for the first hour were x.x and the second hour were x.x. that i understood. but this every segment, every 15 minutes, that's just really...anal. not even geeky in a cool way. it just seems desperae.
