What does it mean besides the standard dictionary definition of "evil, naughty", etc? it's pretty much interchangable with "very". common examples: "it's wicked fucking hot today." "i got that dress for wicked cheap!" "no way, it's a wicked cute dress." there's an awesome store around here called Newbury Comics, their tagline is "for a wicked good time!" oh and i almost forgot Pete's Wicked Ale. what about them Celtics? they're doing wicked good. they're at the Gaahhhhden, gonna win tanite! i remembued to go to the paaackie befoah it closed.

i never realized using "wicked" as a modifier was a New England thing, until i lived in Chattenooga for seven months.

i know it's nothing for some places to reach 100 degrees (like Nashua, NH), but it doesn't happen around here much. these temps are from four this afternoon.

i hate it that people bitch about the weather all the fucking time. i can understand a random complaint here and there, about the heat or the rain or the cold or whatnot. but these people seem to bitch daily... it's always too hot, or too cold, or not sunny enough, or too sunny, or too rainy, or too dry... FUCKALL. pick one season to bitch about and leave it at that. i hate the summer, and i save all ny weather-based bitching for then. maybe i can expand this into a larger area... people that just bitch about everything. they just like to complain, i guess. but i can't picture the amount of energy these people waste through always being negative and cranky, all the time. life isn't a joyride. deal with that. save the bitching for when it's really nessicary.
