Why do people keep saying "if true?" Orton landed unprotected on the floor after catching his foot on the top rope. Then they improvised a finish. Then they had to kill time by showing multiple replays, video packages, etc. before the main event. You don't need a website to tell you "yup, shit's fuck" for your common sense to tell you that something is fishy. Seriously.
-
There's no question that was legit and anyone questioning it should probably stop watching wrestling as your common sense has went out the window.
-
Unless that being spontaneous leads to "humor" like expressed backstage with Jericho last Monday.
-
I would rather have old, classic wrestling standbys than new attempts at stuff like "reverse battle royal" or "king of the mountain" any day of the week, personally. I just think it's overkill when you slapped several on one card. Like tonight with One Night Stand or annually in TNA with the Lockdown PPV.
-
So, are you a fan of all the ridiculous bullshit matches in TNA then?
-
They're two of the most boring people on the entire roster and people feud with them to die. Hell, whenever anyone feuds with Robert Roode, the feud never dies! Let us not forget "Super Eric" to go along with the Elvis shit. Let us not forget Roode and Booker feuding because Sharmell got hit but now Booker is a heel so all is forgiven. Let's not forget Roode and Traci and Traci needing money for her sick mom and then Rain coming in because she liked Roode for more than the money then Rain leaving and BALJBALKGLAKGALKGALKGA. They should both be fired for sucking too damn much, if nothing else.
-
Hence the problem. Shits getting pushes because of the "buddy" system.
-
I can't help but wonder how better off TNA would be if they would just fire Eric Young and Robert Roode outright. Them both getting television time is a travesty. Especially the amount they get.
-
Why pay some schmuck five bucks when you can find it for free with a simple google search? I'm just saying what everyone else is thinking. Or just wait a day and get it off PWTorrents like everyone else.
-
Was the Molly head shaving the culmination of her being a heel because she was a virgin, or her being a heel because she had a big BUTT?
-
Does the GM even matter? You can slap anyone in that exact position and nothing changes. It's still just a backstage match-maker. Same shit they've done since back during Austin/McMahon. That's not a "big announcement" to me.
-
So, is the "big announcement" alluded to in the Observer just going to be the announcement of the Raw/ECW merger?
-
Samoa Joe has more personality than Larry Zybysko ever had...and if the argument is really Joe can't get over because of the clothes he wears, if anyone really believes that, no offense, but you're a fucking idiot.
-
So, if he were to wear shorter tights, fake tan, get some tribal tattoos ala Kennedy and Orton and lose some weight you think he would be magically more over with the crowd? That's a pretty asinine argument. Where did that idea come from, just speculation? I don't see how his ring attire makes him look amateurish any moreso than any other wrestler. He's not coming out in a K-Mart halloween outfit like some people I've seen on the indies. He's not wearing airbrushed gear with superglued lettering.
-
That's just untrue. That's why I blatantly name-dropped Adonis. People care if you're booked proper. Joe as a babyface that whines isn't proper. Regardless of how he is dressed or how sloppy he looks. CM Punk looks just as "unprofessional" if not moreso and people care about him over in WWE. ...I can't argue the Truthiness point though...cause that's just straight true. I should've tried to think of better examples, I guess.
-
I don't think it has anything to do with his appearance, it's because he is being booked poorly. Yokozuna, Adrian Adonis, Bam Bam Bigelow, etc. all proved weight didn't matter. Goldberg, Austin, etc. all proved ring gear doesn't either. Joe was over in ROH. Granted, that is a niche crowd, but he was over, despite being fat and wearing terrible ring gear. In TNA, he was over early when he wasn't talking much and was putting on consistantly good matches. Then, as his popularity grew, TNA decided to thrust him into storylines and whatnot, and that's when things went sour. People just lost interest because he's a complaining pussy instead of a no-nonsense ass-kicker. People can see a complaining pussy everyday at work.

Samoa Joe never marched as a nazi on the ring apron or threatend to rape anyone in the shower to the best of my knowledge either.

William Regal Suspended for 60 Days
Old School replied to PILLS! PILLS! PILLS!'s topic in The WWE Folder
It certainly makes the match last night make sense. This is actually shocking to me, even with his history. I was really digging his new power-tripping character too. Shame. -
I have only seen one or two JBL matches that I even thought were good, let alone great. Joe's entire ROH run was good and filled with several great matches. I do agree that Samoa Joe comes off as a very laughable and unrelatable character though. Also, Taz was booked better than Joe? Does that have anything to do with Heyman being better than Russo? Joe was booked great in ROH... Benoit definitely had charisma, it just wasn't with a microphone. His charisma was about his presence in the ring. I think a lot of people get confused and automatically assume that charisma equates to great promos. I won't say that Joe could never be a top guy...because with good booking, I think almost anyone can be a top guy. Now, I don't think it can happen with Russo writing a weekly comedy sketch show.

Does the draft even matter? When anything important happens, everyone just shows up to Raw anyway. Plus, with the whole ECW/SD "merger" the lines are about as thin as ever. C.M. Punk to RAW? Hasn't he been on several RAWs just in the last month or two alone? It just all seems so silly.
-
I don't really understand the whole guessing how long the matches will be part.
-
People liked Samoa Joe when they still had his ROH run fresh in their minds and when he was new to TNA, in the X-Division, and putting on good matches with Styles and Daniels all while talking very rarely and carrying around a bloody towel. Now look at Joe. Beating up Christmas trees. Slapping cage door locks with a steel chair. Complaining about wanting money, not a title shot, then saying a title shot is all he cares about. Plus they should've had him win the initial feud with Angle. It really set Joe back and killed his momentum and by the time they pulled the trigger on him, it was too late. I wouldn't blame the ratings drop on just Joe though. People aren't going to tune in to listen to Don West call Robert Roode and Eric Young matches forever. Or watch backstage interviews with Jeremy Borash to see how many times The Dudley Boys and Rhino can mention every company that isn't TNA. Everytime TNA seems to be on the cusp of doing something right, they blow it. Just look at LAX. They could've been the hottest thing in wrestling. Now Konnan is suing TNA, Hernandez is running around being called "Super Mex" and they have "Salinas" running around doing...well, nothing. The biggest problem is that from week to week, nothing makes sense. The PPV's never matter because the outcomes don't matter. Remember the "Fight for the Right" tournament? Just look at the second round. Nothing makes sense!
-
There's very few people in all of TNA as a whole that I could buy as a credible world champion. Jay Lethal is not on that list. Black Machismo or not.

Who would even be with that skuz, let alone pay for it!?
