  1. 2 Cool and Rikishi were awesome in 2000. Once they got depushed, and Scotty just became a jobber with the WORM, he never recovered. I'm amazed they kept him on the roster for so long.

I'll have to admit, I liked Too Cool's entrance theme, but as soon as they came out, it was all over. Too bad "Too Sexy" Brian Christopher got himself canned, he was a good worker. The breakup of the group could have been fun.

  2. Am I to assume then that no one is interested in this? I stand by my product as one of the best wrestling games around. It is a d20/d100 game of dice rolling, but gameplay is fast-paced and frenzied, especially when matches get tight.

I'll scan and post the material in a couple of days and post it in its entirety. The only thing I don't have is the core rules, so I'll be writing them and posting them, too. (That's the reason I'd like to know the level of interest, because it will be some work.)

    Thanks.

  3. I can say that once you set it up, my game is a breeze to run matches. Everything is factored in, including ref stats, contention for title matches, and crowd responses.

During a match, faces can draw energy from the crowd as bonuses and heels can use deception to get away with illegal tactics.

  4. I only followed half of this, but Noah posted a picture of his penis in General Wrestling?

    HAHAHA! NOOOOO!

I posted scanned images of a wrestling RPG I designed! Except, one problem, a mod (possibly you?) moved it to Video Games. It's not a video game, it's an RPG. It requires dice, a d6, 2d10, and a d20.

Could you move it somewhere more appropriate?

  5. It's high time I explained what brought me here in the first place. I know I've given some hell and gotten some hell, and it's all well and good. A few months ago, I was combing through some old stuff after I moved and I came across something I thought you would all enjoy. Now, I didn't belong to a wrestling board then, so I searched around for the one I thought best suited my discovery.

About 20 years ago, I began developing games. A few today are in the publication process (don't ask, I can't tell), but my favorite of all of them is my wrestling RPG. At the time, it was very marketable, yet incomplete. By the time I felt it was finished, it was too late and a few wrestling RPGs had been published and the various game companies weren't interested. It has been hidden in a moving box ever since.

So, I came here to share it with you. The material I'm releasing today (in sample form) is all © 2008 and is not to be distributed or sold without my express written permission. You may use it for personal use only.

The concept is simple. Create a wrestler with every stat, move, strength, weakness, etc. possibly imaginable. You then compete in one-on-one matches, tag, six-man tag, battle royales, etc. Anything is possible, any type of match is possible.

Today, I'll release a few pages for you to check out. If this generates enough interest, I'll scan the entire rulebook and offer help and support to TSM members.

Below you'll find the matrices and tables for matches, a page from the moves list (over 300), special assets, character sheet, and ring area.

  6. That's fine. As I said, I'm anal about things like that.

Noah Fentz's style is: I'm right because I have so much wrestling experience and all my friends think I'm right and I smoked weed with Hawk. But then he died. And that was sad. Or you say, well it's my opinion and you can't argue it, because it's my opinion.

    That doesn't get you anywhere.

Just because of my experience in wrestling, I'm NOT always right, and I know that. I just got shitty because of the shitty reaction. If you, or anyone else, had simply held a cordial debate, instead of an insulting one, it never would have gotten to that point.

The point I was making when I mentioned my experience was in response to everyone saying I didn't know what the fuck I was talking about.

My experience tells me, "THE FUCK I DON'T!" :D

Anyway, I'm starting to get past the resentment and would like to post a sample of my contribution that brought me to this board in the first place. I know you all love wrestling, and I spent over 10 years of my life designing a wrestling game. That's what brought me here in the first place!

If some members are interested, I'll scan and post it, in its entirety and offer rules and gameplay support.

Where should I post something like that around here?

  7. I was going to publicly contribute (probably) one of the coolest things this board has seen. Something which I know most all of you would have really enjoyed, but with the ridiculous, adolescent responses I've gotten, I've decided against it.

Now, as always, you'll all say that whatever I'm referring to is "idiotic" and "stupid" or just another "work". All I can say is that you're sadly mistaken, and I'm saddened to not be able to share it with all of you. I was pretty excited about it when I first got here.

To think, if we hadn't pointed out that turning John Cena wasn't a good idea, we'd have this amazing contribution. Fuck.

I didn't mind at all disagreeing with the Cena thing. Your approached sucked a lot, though. I have been chatting it up with an undisclosed member, and I'm considering posting my "amazing contribution" anyway.

I just need to figure out where the appropriate place to post it would be...

  8. I hear the sound of backpeddling and in response to the "if you were in my position, you would have done the same thing." bullshit, you're wrong. When I'm asked about my experience in pro wrestling, I gave a straight answer. Not once, not ever once did I ever backpeddle on something I've said or claimed and not once did I try to make myself sound better than other people because I was actually in pro wrestling.

All I did Noah was ask you about your past in pro wrestling and instead you just ducked and hid from my question. At this point your nothing more than another terrible gimmick poster.

Mellow, I think the same thing.

Um... I've already stated my experience on this board, Scroty, all you have to do is look at my first few posts. I don't need to repeat myself, nor do I really care to fully expose who I am or where I promote. Last thing I need is Nighthawk stabbing me after a show some night :P

  9. Yeah you suck at being obnoxious and being a dick. I mean you talked all this trash in the WWE folder but when you had a chance to come and actually say something and not be told to shut up and move on, you haven't done or said jack shit. You're nothing more than a fucking poser. You built yourself of this big shit whose been in the wrestling business, hell you even decided to name drop, but when you're actually asked about it, you all of a sudden shut the fuck up? You're nothing more than a fucking poser.

Noah Fentz but Scroby's been terrible in this thread.

Also, Noah Fentz is awful and should probably kill himself.

I agree, I've had nothing to work with, but then again Bob, you've never liked me so everything I say or do is terrible in your eyes.

You're pathetic. If you were in my position, you'd do the same. There's not a damn thing I could say that would be well-received at this point, and I know it. I can live with that. When I once said, "You don't know who.." You don't, and you probably never will.

All in all, you are a pretty cool and witty bunch, but simply not mature enough to have a reasonable or intelligent conversation with, at least not for me. But, hey, you'll always have each other.

I'll take my leave from this shit hole of a folder and return to where, at least, the conversation is somewhat interesting. I'd rather discuss wrestling.

  10. Noah Fentz but Scroby's been terrible in this thread.

Also, Noah Fentz is awful and should probably kill himself.

I was invited here to be a dick, so here I am. Why the fuck would I kill myself over something as silly and petty as this? I'm just trying to have a little fun... :D

To be honest, this in no way reflects who I truly am or how I conduct myself IRL. All I'm doing is shit-slinging back at my detractors :P

Note: If Milky likes gay porn, then more power to him. I'm just being obnoxious for the sake of my own entertainment.

  11. Yeah, blow it out your ass, bitch.

Damn, you're actually MORE lame than Goldust. I wouldn't have thought it possible.

BTW, I completely like the fact Noah ignored my questioning of his pro wrestling backround.

I didn't ignore it at all, but this is not the forum for that discussion.

Um, you are aware that you can discuss anything in this forum, right...?

Um, you are aware that you can go fuck yourself, right...?

    Right, coward.

I'm definitely no coward, Scroty, I'll be happy to share what I've done, but I don't think "Chocolate Socket Hardcore Ecstasy" is the place. In fact, that sounds more like the title of your next gay porn flick with Nighthack.

  12. It would require planning ahead, but I've always thought a nice idea for Survivor Series would be for the World, IC and Tag champs to team up and take on their respective number one contenders. You could use the match to build towards the various title matches the next month at Armageddon, and give a rub to the lower level talents.

That would be pretty sweet. The only problem I could see would be breaking up big angles that involved stables/groups/allies.

  13. As far as Survivor Series goes, I think the PPV needs to have some sort of title match on it as a main event with all of the other matches being the team deals. 1992 was the first time they went mostly with singles matches and it was fun at the time, but then they went back to the team matches following it.

Perhaps they could take all the survivors and throw them in a battle royal at the end, as in the past. The winner could get a title shot or even a great number draw at the Rumble.

  14. Noah Fentz, if I ever met you on the street? I'd stab you, man. I'd fucking stab you.

And I carry a knife with me all the time, so you know... I could.

Dude...or whatever the fuck you are...I would take that knife away from you and fuck your ass with it.

Don't EVER talk about shit like that, you little bitch, or I'll come looking for YOU.

Trust me, you DON'T know who'd you'd be fucking with.

    That kinda turns me on...

    Who am I fucking with?

Please have that conversation with me. I am pretty sure that I'm more evil than you.

What? My back kinda hurts right now. I wish I was drunk.

...Because even wrestling boards need a Goldust. Thanks for knowing your role, Nighthawk.

  15. ...Survivor Series has the team elimination matches...

Do you remember when that wasn't true for a bit? That was HORRIBLE. For years I wanted for it to be done just like the first one. How cool was it to see 5 tags against 5 tags? Especially when The Hart Foundation, Demolition, and The British Bulldogs are involved in one match (I liked The Rougeau Brothers, too, at the time.)

Every match had teams which was a perfect opportunity to involve every worker of the time. In that scenario, you could give literally anyone a push, and even decide just how much. Mid-carders could face off with the top face for a change at a PPV for a major push.

Then suddenly, it was a night of singles matches (don't recall what year), and it was never the same since.

It really was the diametrically perfect PPV to WM. It could establish 6 months of ongoing angles in time for WM to establish the next 6. Shame...
