That was annoying - but considering the show had Jack NOT persist to ask after Aaron in 506, I'm not surprised by dropping the ball on a storyline. There's so much dramatic potential there, and it's not being utilised. Especially Kate - who hasn't made ANY attempt to find Claire yet. Despite being back on The Island since 506.

It was our first discovery too, so the information was intended for us AND Hurley. I'm just saying they could've shown us before Miles told Hurley. Have a quick flashback. Then when Miles tells Hurley, it's not a revelation so much as Miles externalising it.
-
Well that IS the point of a message board. If no-one is discussing anything, it's not really being utilised properly.
-
What annoys me is Miles TELLING us that he discovered Pierre was his Father. You'd think maybe we'd, I dunno, see the scene. Maybe get an example of being shown a turning point in a characters life. Lost goes from brilliant to dreadful a lot.
-
What turns off new posters? NO FUCKING DISCUSSION. I'm trying to throw out bait to get people discussing anything other than 'huh he, how long till this board dies' and people just don't give a flying fuck. Hardly an incentive to stick around.

Good to see a fellow Coleminer. Fucking vintage.
-
The problem is that I don't see a whole lot of discussion going on.
-
So what do you suggest?
-
Simple solution - POST. The place is only dead when people go through this 'oh, it's dead so let's not post' phase. Which, in turn, causes the place to be more dead... and that, in turn, leads to more 'oh, it's dead so let's not post' bollocks. POST.

Awesome.

What my angry colleague above said. If you create threads, and reply to posts, it'll pick up.
-
It does? Holy crap, why didn't anyone tell me? I... I need to re-evaluate my life.
-
Probably.

Give him $10 and tell him to get a very cheap suit and/or a steak dinner.

Aha. Well, heh then. Heh indeed.
