I agree 110% It's really unfortunate, because the WWE DOES have talent that could be used in the tag team division... Priceless and the Colons NEED TO start a program soon because Teddy's face turn/push that is most likely coming this fall is fastly approaching and the company seems reluctant to push Cryme Tyme at all but for some reason they think we're more interested in seeing 10 minutes of cross dressing Santino and the token terrible divas match every week than quality tag team wrestling. The Lance Storm rant posted the other day is 110% correct about the current misuse of talent in today's enviroment.

Has anyone noticed how jaded JR has gotten over the years? His blogs have gone from being witty and insightful to pretty much just defending the company's actions against common internet criticism Great tag teams don't exist anymore in WWE because none are given a damn chance. It makes more fiscal sense to be paying 2 guys for a match instead of 4 and that's what it REALLY comes down to IMO.

didn't realize I posted in aprils thread last night... dreamer as ECW GM could be good, much better than Tiffany, she's awful when talking and way too camera conscious http://www.lordsofpain.net/news/wwe/2198.html

Take this to the TNA folder. And quit making assumptions.

IIRC at One Night Stand last year, Orton went up to Batista in backstage segment and (I don't remember the exact lines) suggested to him about getting the band back together (teasing Evolution 2.0) Batista didn't say anything and walked off. Batista has been stale for years so I think a heel turn will freshen his character up a bit. Besides, Triple H still needs to get his win back from him. Are you missing the whole connecting point between members of Legacy? Do you not grasp the connotations of the word 'Legacy'? Batista doesn't fit in with the connecting factor AT ALL. Either of the McMahons do, but not Batista.

Word. I don't recall once that they claimed he was going to compete or wrestle or even 'make an appearance in the ring'...just that a former champ was coming to make an impact. If you get burnt for making some ignorant assumption, you should be mad at yourself for making the ignorant assumption, not TNA.

This is what I'd hope for, however how would the wwe then explain Cena's absence? In the last man standing match he could get "taken out" and have an injury excuse to explain his absence. I don't think the Cena character would be written off as being "burnt out" or "was filming another crap movie". kayfabe injury seems to be what their go-to method is as of late

Punk said in an interview recently this year he wasn't going to surprise the guy like last year, he was going to call them out and give them a little time. He also hinted at judgement day because of the "homefield advantage" Cena HAS to be gone by late May to be on schedule with the movie stuff from what I've read. We'll know what'll happen after Backlash, I'd assume to avoid another 30 day title reign, we'll see Cena win their blowoff at Backlash and Punk call him out the next night on raw for Judgement Day

How does Batista fit into Legacy AT ALL? Wasn't his father a Filipino auto mechanic?
-
Could we see Edge and Christian both get title straps on the same night? (we all know the straps are nowhere close to the same level, but still)

please keep all fantasy game talk in the fantasy game thread. Please keep all theone talk in the theone thread. If one doesn't exist, make one, and keep all talk in there. Seriously dude, don't argue just for the sake of it. I wasn't arguing with anyone. Merely making an observation. At this point if I WERE arguing, I'd link to you the webster's definition of an argument and explain exactly why you're wrong... but I'm not. That's neither here nor there though, Fantasy talk goes in the Fantasy thread. This one says it's the BACKLASH DISCUSSION THREAD if I'm not mistaken.

I'm willing to give a young guy a chance, but Ted DiBiase Jr is pretty vanilla. He might be able to develop into a good heel, but I can't see him as a face. Plus, he really needs a new finisher. I still think MVP is one good storyline/push away from taking off. He JUST started using a new finisher not too long ago, dreamstreet... and it's pretty badass IMO. He has the look, he can work well given the opportunity and he can actually work the mic unlike poor Cody.. I just think Teddy has everything he needs to be a big star, plus the the WWE is behind him. He'll get a face turn and push sometime this fall to promote his upcoming movie, so we'll have to see how a face Teddy will work when it happens..

John Morrison and Ted DiBiase Jr. Maybe Tyson Kidd, DH Smith and Cody Rhodes...we'll have to see how their next 2-3 years play out.

You do know Vince Russo works for TNA, right? Are you trying to compare Russos experience in the industry with that of Hollywood writers? You might not like the guy, but to try and deny over 15 years of experience in the industry is absolutely ludicrous and flat out childish. Russo himself has admitted that he has tried and failed to get movie and TV projects that he has written made. He is a self admitted Hollywood wannabe. He admitted this after he helped tank WCW with some of the worst writing ever seen, and before he came back to TNA. And denying Vince Russo's "experience" in wrestling is "childish?" What exactly do Russos failed Hollywood expeditions have to do with over a decade of experience in the wrestling business??? Way to completely veer off subject in an attempt to write off his experience because you don't like the guy or his work.
