Athletics I have all but given up on. I watch Olypic events that aren't typically associated with Athletics, such as Soccer or Cycling, but the Track and Field/Swimming rubbish bores me to death. The Winter Olympics however I love.

Diego Maradona is the man who carried a very average Argentina side in 1986 to the World Cup in Mexico. The string of failed drug tests all started 4 or so years later. After Argentina lost to Germany in the 1990 World Cup final, Maradona's form and persoanl life turned to absolute shit. And his continual downward spiral was due to his over exposure to everyone in the Soccer world, and his inability to cope with failure following his previous successes.

If he's from Cameroon, I'll be very relieved. Considering that Maradona basically had cameras following his every trick from since he was 10, I'd say Adu is more like him. Pele kinda just showed up and stunned and scared the fuck out of everyone. The black thing isn't an issue. But to be fair comparing Adu to either Maradona or Pele is just begging for him to fail. Those kind of comparisons can kill a career before it even gets started.

I'm not comparing the two shows in that way as WMXX hasn't happened yet. But WMX was two potentially great matches surrounded by crap. The two potentials were AWESOME. WMXX(speculated) thus far has Eddie/Angle and a whole host of matches that have the potential to be either good or at least memorable. Believe me I'm not expected the greatest Wrestlemania or anything, I'm just looking for positives. Or maybe its because I'm going to be there.
