WCW facts, tidbits, and stuff people forgot

When they aired said bumper I was quick to point out how much worse the Kennel From Hell was... and it was. Way worse. Boring with, zero redeeming qualities. At least the Chamber of Horrors had random jobbers for either party to beat on. The Kennel from Hell is funny as hell just for it being on the "Mick Foley: Hard Knocks and Cheap Pops" DVD with Foley and Kevin Kelly's alternate commentary. Especially Kevin Kelly insulting Al Snow's "K-mart bought attire" and Foley talking about the possibility of the dogs giving birth to more dogs during the match. And was that the last time the blue cage was used? -
You know, I'd think JR would make an awesome face GM.

There never was gonna be a Freebirds DVD (at least not a WWE release)
-
I liked the lightly scattered "WHOOOO"s that were heard in the crowd.
-
It almost reminds me of the footage they used to show from overseas.
-
And besides it should be named Macho Madness

Was that Shane McMahon being hassled by Big Bully Busick during that PTW episode?
-
Ted DiBiase too. Unfortunately, the MSRP on it would be $999,999.99.

WWE General Discussion - September 2008

It's a stretch calling Funaki a superstar -
Details please. Borders.com released a 80% off coupon code (I heard mistakenly, but I don't really know how) for a short time last weekend and I used it on that. They canceled like 90% of the orders that used the code but my order ended up going through. It was pure luck. Since Borders had it for near $200, 80% off of that ended up being near $40. I've definitely gotten very lucky with the Anthologies. I picked up the Rumble Anthology and the first two volumes of the WM Anthology for $50 used from someone on another forum a couple of months ago.
-
But who's gonna tell him that?
-
I got the Summerslam Anthology in the mail today (for only $40!) and does anyone else hate the slots for the DVDs?

I'm pretty sure the No Way Out comes with Royal Rumble. I remember seeing them and thinking they did the first few of 03, skipped Wrestlemania, then resumed. I think I've also seen No Mercy 02 with No Mercy 03 and I think maybe Unforgiven 02/03. RR/No Way Out 2003 Backlash/Judgment Day 2003 Coming out next week: Bad Blood/Vengeance 2003 Summerslam/Unforgiven 2003 K-Mart exclusive: Unforgiven 2002/2003 No Mercy 2002/2003

Sells about $25-35 on eBay. It's worth something because it's considered one of the best PPVs on DVD (and one of the best of all time) before they switched to WWE.
-
Kane actually had an FYE-exclusive DVD (Journey To Hell). It was one-disc and was pretty barebone: vs. Undertaker (Unforgiven IYH Inferno Match) vs. Shane McMahon (Unforgiven '03 Last Man Standing Match) vs. Matt Hardy (Summerslam '04 'Til Death Do Us Part Match) vs. HBK (Unforgiven '04 No DQ Match) vs. Edge (Vengeance '05)

Where'd you find this? It looks kinda fake

http://herndon1.sdrdc.com/cgi-bin/fecimg/?28991064599 Look at the third entry.

That's pretty cool. I picked up my copy at a Gamestop for $1.99 because they put the generic DVD pricetag on it. It's not the first time K-Mart did the two-pack, they did it for Royal Rumble 2007/2008. That was an obvious buy, since 2008 was pretty entertaining and 2007 had Cena/Umaga and the Rumble match.

Just a VHS transfer. If you have the tape it's not worth getting the DVD unless you can find the DVD for less than $20 (eBay resale value is $30-50!). It's just rare because it was one of the more limited in release of the Attitude Collection DVDs. I think Raw Homecoming is easily the rarest. It was only available as an exclusive at Walmart with a version of WM XX in the slimline DVD case. It sold out quickly and had a limited run. Also rare is the two-disc FYE version of the Ultimate Warrior DVD. Also, if you guys are interested in the GAB 2008 DVD, K-Mart has a package of that and last year's GAB together for $14.99. They're also doing it for Summerslam when it comes out.

Not mentioned in the set of spoilers, but in the match: Armando Estrada Funaki Scotty Goldman

Morishima is working with Race's promotion and since they are in that area, he's getting dark match spots. I do believe WWE were high on Morishima and still are. I liked that two former ROH World Champions battled in a dark match. I would love to see Morishima in WWE. Morishima vs. Umaga, Undertaker, Cena, Jeff Hardy, Finlay or CM Punk would be awesome.

I'd say Undertaker: The Phenom Best of 2001: Viewer's Choice Raw Homecoming Judgment Day 2002 nWo: Back in Black
