The Heatwave 4 way is a very good match. Some big things happen in this match (I wont spoil it ) The luger-hogan match is indeed the one where Luger won the title the week before. Litle Jeanne was a woman wrestler wcw brought in when they decided to have Mona (miss madness aka Molly holly) wrestle. they hired a few jobber women.

Why?! (would you buy BY2, that is ) Usually, female customers tend to not mind getting carded. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I bought it cuz it was on sale for 14.99. Yea, I still overpaid. Oh well at least the long-ass career mode has kept me busy. and I'm not a female, but I guess you werent talking to me.

I think that quad tear match gets alot more love cuz Benoit/Jericho went over. If austin/hhh had won, it wouldnt get this much praise. as it is it was a very goo dtag match but I personally dont like it that much, save for the ending. Alot of praise for Bret reformign the Harts. Lots of USA-bashing canadians on this boards I see lol Im just jokin Actually I must admit the Harts vs Austin Angle vs classic stuff. My favorite RAW? hmmmmmm hard to pick, I agree with alot of you guys. I'll throw out March 14, 1005 (The Rockers Reunite, HHH finally beats Benoit, Jake Roberts confronts Randy Orton on the Highlight Reel) April 3, 1995 (night after wm 11) (Blayze regains Womens title, is attacked by the debuting Bertha Faye, Shawn tells Sid he can have the night off when he gets his rematch with Diesel, Sid snaps during the commercial break and powerbombs HBk three times, Diesel runs out for the save) The First "Raw is War" (Bret vs Sid WWF Title Cage match, Taker costs Bret the match, Bret flips out and does the aforementioned profanity-laced promo and pushes Pat Patterson and the other officials as Vince the broadcaster calls him a "dirt rooten son of a ...." Another nod for the Austin attacks Bret in the ambulance one, which actually ended with Brian Pillman coming out of the crowd to lay out Austin with a chair. and the followiong weeks episode which started with Pillman leading a prayer to the destruction of Austin.

Can't wait for the Cena-HHH feud. More talks of cena being a "thug" and "not deserving to be a champion" However If Trips does call Cena a poser I will immediately like him again.

Since my team is "IWC 4 Life" I think WWE is deliberately changing booking so that I never win with my team. So you can blame Jordan betaing Benoit on me

Whos AWOL? The Former wall was called "A-Wall" in the MIA youd think since they own wcw they would know that SHEESH

that old school Hogan loks great. Does this mean there wont be any current hogan on the roster? any event the models look great.

I have an original launch (ie glitched ) copy I had read about the glitch and never had it untill one day it happened to me for no real reason. I simply turned on the game and everything was erased (luckily I had a gameshark and unlocked everythign again). This time I saved my CAWS to a memory card (then a second card as my first card is glitched in that If I take it out of the controller it erases.) I haven't played the game (or any n64 game for that matter) in 2 years (when I put my N64 back in its box in the closet to make room for a vcr). I should pull it out one of these days. However last time I tried to play it felt weird after getting used to the SD games on ps2

seems dumb that ea would actually animate "naughty parts" instead of just having the blur over nothing. anyhow another problem is some parents dont realize what the rating is they just buy the game. however a few weeks ago I was at Target and went to buy Backyard Wrestling 2 which is rated M. The cashier actually asked me my birthday, but didnt actually check my ID though I offered to show him it. I am 22 years old btw.

I would vote for him. He was the most feared hitter in the AL other than Griffey in the mid 90s. His numbers arent among the all time greats, but they are solid. Besides my dad caught a foul ball off him at Yankee Stadium in 93 (which I keep in my room as my good luck charm ball) and that ball would be valuable if I could get him to sign it ever lol

How about The Giants (my fav team)? Last year they had a decent start, but outright blew it losing alot of games in a row . With Eli now the full time QB, I dont know what to expect, hopefully they can win more than 6 games this year, and I would ove to see them finish 500, but probably not. Whats the lowdown on them this year?

Simpsons Season 6 DVD Set Complaint
Jericholic82 replied to MarvinisaLunatic's topic in Television & Film
cant wait till "City of NY vs Homer simpson" (i think thats season 7 or 8) comes out on dvd as my local fox stopped showing it after 9/11. its one of my personal favs for some reason (the NY connection I guess, plus it has some great-to me- lines and gags) -
how about DLs new show? I saw some of it this weekend. the best part was when he went around LA looking for a balck woman who had Conaleeza Rice's hairstyle and actually got a white woman to get the haircut. it was sorta amusing MOM is kinda lame. I liked the first epidoe, but the rest have been dumb. His standup is the best part and even that isnt so great. But some of it made me laugh. Like his cracks about fast food workers "How do you burn the fries? The thing beeps when its done." Actually I read an article about how MOM was supposed to air on weds right after chappelle, so the network thought the chappele lead-in might bring good rating for MOM. Now its on its own. But if CS is over, then I guess we should all grieve. SNL wished they could be that funny or interesting these days.

I didnt really mind the fingerpoke too much. To me, it was just another "wrestling swerve" and seemed to usher in the return of the real nWo without all the jobbers in it. Of course that didnt last. Bischoff helping nash then hurting him makes no sense but this is pro wrsetling after all. But maybe Savage made him do it so he can win the title from Nash instead of DDP? I dont know. That was just my opinion, not a known fact. (but sting giving the president title to Bischoff was rumored online at the time)

The night after slam on RAW, HHH beat Undertaker in a #1 contenders match for Brocks undisputed WWE title. But at the end of the show Brock drove off with Stephanie Mcmahon (sds GM) who said Brock and the title was going to be "sd exclusive " SO on the next Raw, Bischoff came out with a briefcase and complained about Brock leaving. And Since Brock refused to be on RAW (at the time the undisputed champ and womens champs were on both shows), That ttile "was disputed" and so He took out the old wcw belt (last seen when Jericho wore both belts during his reign) and said That it was the world title (so basically the wcw/world title was stripped from the unidsputed title cuz Brock refused to defend it on raw) and proceeded to call out HHH and give him the title, since he was the number one contender. Borck simply became wwe champion on SD. and it has been the same ever since, untill the 2 belts witched shows this past June.

New Guys To WWE Debuting on Heat/Velocity
Jericholic82 replied to ChrisMWaters's topic in The WWE Folder
Actualy simons first match was on RAW vs The Hurricane in December 04, he started off as having his "commericals" air on raw. And if they are talking about Johhny being a swinger, why not just let him have that name? btw I ddi see both velocity and heat this week. Poor Rob Conway got a terrible new theme song thats sounds like it came from the list of Billy Gunns rejected theme ideas. -
I should stop my subscription to the mags. Im finally tempted to do so after 13 years as a wwf/wwe/sd magazine subscriber. When they split the mags I then had to subscribe to raw too. But now the mags suck, with boring kayfabe stories, lots of ads and pics, the same posters of the divas every months and lame ppv results (now in a few page article with some pics on the page as opposed to sections for every match) Plus the fact that recently, my mags have been arriviing all torn up. Ive called the customer relations and they said it must be a problem in the mail sorting, so theyve actrually stepped up and sent replacement copies in a sealed envelope to make up for it. when it comes in plastic packaging (when it comes with a poster) it has little problems, so I asked why not do that all the time> they said it would cost extra (hell I got a renewel notice for raw and they want me to pay 26 bucks for 1 year!) BS. The funny part thats also relvenat to this thread is once I ordered a replacement copy for a messed up sd mag (the one that had ecna with the new wwe belt on the cover) it was on a thursday morning and the guy actually had the balls to say to me "ok thanks for calling and uh watch smackdown tonight" I guess they are falling a bit when they have customer relations people begging fans to watch their product. edit: I just got the new raw in the mail as we speak and im pissed, cuz its folded by the right side (i guess from either being put in the box or somehow thru the mail system but it does have a sweet cover shot of Micahels kicking hogan's mustache off his face.

Picked this week Raw: Cena (I fig he retains) Eugene (prob gets specialty points for invitational and guranteed to actually be there) Masters (Had extra Cash, figured he might face shelton tonight) SD: LOD 2005 (probably have another squash on sd) Kazarian (been on velocity for three weeks, either he finally gets on sd or has another velocity squahs) Benoit Batista (better be on sd this week)

Actually, I heard both moves were called the Brock Lock at one time or another. I could be wrong though. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> the bear hug was called "the brock lock" first you are correct.

I suppose I remember him as one of my favorite "good guys" during the first few years of my fandom. I remember his first IC title win vs Mr Perfect, his stance as a "fighting IC champ", his surprise world title win that literally made my day when it was announced on a saturday morning in 1992, fighting all comers as champ. He was no doubt my fav after that first reign. I'll remember him for the good times first but of course the bad times you cant forget. (like seeing him live , a shell of his former self giving a terrible promo at the WWA PPV in Las Vegas)

Actually the Disasters turned face when Hart got Money INC the titles the first time. Nasties turned face after Hart got Money Inc a rematch for the tag belts (disasters had won the belts in july 92) on superstars in october 92ish. They won the belts, but the nasties got angry. but you are right the turns were basically for the same thing.

Ultimate Warrior speaks out about his upcoming DVD
Jericholic82 replied to Downhome's topic in The WWE Folder
Not really. Considering that vince can talk all the crap he wants , but at one point he LOVED the guy and pushed him down the fans throats best he could. Honestly I would just like a decent career retrospective with some good extra matches and fun clips. If they want to show some of his dumber angles and moments, thats cool, I would just liek Vince to stop being so hypocritical about EVERYTHING -
Have we all forgotten how godawful some of attitude 98-early 00 era WWF was? Not to mention the actual wrestling was crap, we had during this time for example: Val Venis:Wrestling Porn Star (and the whole Yamaguchis wife/choppy choppy angle), Mark Henry gets with a transvestite, and Mae young(who of course gets pregnant and gives birth to a hand), Pat Patterson and Brisco in the ring again, The ministry of darkness, Vince McMahon: WWF Champion Just to name a few. Is it really that much worse today? Hell at least we get some good matches sometimes. Sure some things bother me, but I can ignore them (and despite the urge I didnt throw my tv out the window when I saw Pizza The Hut with MNM), so long as there is something good on there. My point is I have been watching the WWF/E since 1990 and have seen it all from bad to good. Nothing surprises me anymore.
