Yknow I actually thought to myself once for some reason that he was older. are you serious though?

Rock ranks up there in both categories. Hell he was probably most over as a face when he was actually a heel. Ric Flair is great at both roles. I agree on Hogan At BATB. Hogan was pretty well hated by the fans during the nWo days, though soon enough the nWo was over as cool heels so they got face heat, but Hogan seemed to remain being hated. Surprised no one mentioned Bruno Sammartino, he was really loved as the blue color ethnic character, especially in the NY area. But Hogan transcended it all in the 80s. Rock after he won his first WWF title and joined up with Vince, the next night on RAW he got one of the biggest heel reactions ever. You can tell the fans were super pissed cuz they wanted to cheer him so much. But it didnt last and the people started loving him again, until they finally had to turn him. Remember Goldusts initial run, the people really hated him as he pushed the whole "gay" gimmick to the limits. Hogan is probably number one for most loved face

He did have it in WCW/nWo Revenge (and later in No Mercy), but the animation glitched a bit and often if you didn't postion him right he would start running in place by the ropes and then slam the opponent.

I used to spend lots of quarters on that game! it ruled! Cool that you got it. Enjoy.

I found her by driving to the house and parking across the street and letting hours pass until she showed up. I just listened to the radio and kicked back. BTW the best way to get the key quickly is to show up with tthe gimp suit on and goign to her house when shes there. That way you just go right to the "coffee" and the relationship points go up much faster. In fact it might take two tries and youll have enough for her to call you and then you can get in the house. Either that or kill her during a date and then you will be able to get in the house once.

I knew it was fake as soon as I saw that the cameras followed Brooke on her date. Why was Hulkster worried about what was happening when the camera crew went in the car with them and followed them all around. either way, it's still pretty funny. Hulk trying to hook up his son with that chick and laughing evily about his plan had me ROTFL. Anyone else think Nick is rather weird looking? He takes after his dad way more than Brooke, who looks just like her Mother. I also almost fell off my chair watching Hogan brushing his "hair". and wtf was up with Hulk wearing A Sublime tshirt?

In his 30's? I don't think so cuz he looks liek he got older in the last two years Hes not the man show boy, but you can blame Jimmy Kimmel for this mtv show cause he produces it and porbably hleped get him the show. His first TV appeareance was on Jimmy Kimmel Live after he had that whole super bowl song online and got noticed by Jimmy. and for awhile he was the announcer for the show. Infact he was on JKL recently and he basically said it was all thanks to Jimmy. I have seen likme 2 or 3 of the shows. It is rather bizzare and trippy humor. Most of it I find funny cuz I like that weird humor, but some parts are way too annoying to be funny. But Andy asking a firemans help to get his John Stamos out of the tree was pretty funny. It won't last but dare I say it might develop its own little cult following. especially from crackheads and other assorted drug abusers.

A big win over JBL? How is that? JBL has jobbed in title matches at two straight PPVS. EDIT: Wait I guess Since JBl is the top Heel on SD it would help establish Tista on SD, but cmon he just beat the unbeatble HHH in 3 straight ppv title
-
Yea thanks for convinving me to drop masters lol. But its ok, cuz I figure I will make make up those points with the bra and panties match at GAB . I need Benoit to win the US title badly. and for once it has personal implications lol

Well, he never actually WAS French--just a sympathizer. And he's still a heel because he suckered the fans in to believing he was some anti-American guy, when all the time he was simply using La Resistance to get ahead. It's actually very consistent with Conway's character as of the date he was introduced. Remember when the announcers played up how it was a "good move" for Conway to ally himself to the tag team champions? He's an oppurtunist. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I know, I was just being sarcastic but I guess it feel on deaf ears here. Sorry about that.

Wow, this is quite a weird story huh? Selling merchandise? que? anyhow, it's gonna be weird to watch wrestlemania and not see Earl in the main event,as he's been the top ref sinceI started watching wrestling as a little kid in 1990. geez can we get over Montreal already? I guess you hate Earl cuz he broke his promise to Bret and I agree that was a rather dick move, but I mean it was Vince who made the whole thing happen. Earl did his job otherwise he would have been canned on the spot, and I don't think Bret had too much time to care for a referee while he lived nicely on his multi-miilon dollar WCW contract. Yea Earl's manerisms were so predictable and his counts annoying. I agree. But you knew when the match was over cuz he would take 5 minutes between each count. I will always remember NWO 2001 when Rock pinned Angle after a RB, but Earl stopped the count at two, despite Angle not kicking out. Rocks got up and hit another RB, gave Earl this hilarious angry face and got the three. They edited this on all future replays of the finish, to show an earlier Angle kickout from anothe camera angle. BTW Howard still usually announces Heat, but the dumbasses at WWE think people actually want to listen to Lillian screw up entrances and sing horrible national anthems every night. And funny how he got you screwed Bret chants, apparantly no Hulkamaniacs remembered that Earl screwed Hogan first. However I shouldn't defend him, since I myself instigated a you screwed Bret chant at Unforgiven 2002 (by simply mentioning that to a couple of fans in front of me.)

Jackyl forming the acolytes happened at least two months before the ministry angle started IIRC. I think it was either october or november 98ish, (someone ,please check when Callis was fired). The acolytes kidnapped Dennis Knight (MideonAKA Phineas Godwin Aka Tex Slazenger in WCW) on a raw episdoe in late 98, I think about 2 weeks before the episdoe where Mankind wont he wwf title, cuz on that same night (the 1-4-99 show), Knight was showin in a dungeon and being told by the acolytes that "he" was ready now and they dragged him into a room and closed the door. I know this for sure cuz I have livewire from the next weekend taped. But I can belive Ed here cuz Bradshaw never seemed to get over at all throughout his various gimmicks. and hell the acolytes werent over until they became the APA in 2000

Ok King. But what I am supposed to post about if The Yankees are my favorite team? Should I pick a second fav team? Seriously though, this brutal road trip continues. Well ESPN is showing the game tonight though Brown is pitching. And since the los angles angels of eastern anaheim on the pacific ocean is up next , I know the local channels will show all of the games. But thats a scary matchup cuz the angels always give them fits.

The Latest RAW mag confirms his age at 28. Remember he has been wrestling since at least 2000 (when he wast he prototype in UPW, a name he took with him to OVW) so he was porbably 22 or 23 when he got in the business.

I wouldn't reccommend Ventura, despite its nice looks. (I live about 15 mins from there in the Hueneme Beach Area). And santa barbabra from best I can tell is filled with zombie like posers. lol as is ventura. (its got a lot of white trash IMO) For me, here in Cali I would say Thousand Oaks, CA cuz its nice and quiet and pretty much safe (despite the rich people). But its real hot so maybe not Though I do like living here in the beach area cuz its not that hot and often rather cool (and cold at night)Or perhaps the bay area up north If I could ,I would move back to NY but upstate so I could be away from the ghetto areas but close enough to my family and roots. (actually I am likely moving back to my old area shortly but I wish I could move to a nicer part) Or maybe a penthouse or loft in Manhattan so I could be like JBl lmao Hey how about living in Stamford, CT next to Vince? That would be quite humorous. Imagine the block parties lol <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've stayed up in Ventura and Santa Barbara dozens of times, and I love it. Port Hueneme is far south along PCH from what I recall, then there's Oxnard and finally Ventura... and yeah Oxnard is pretty much shite, so I'm not surprised if you don't like it in the Hueneme beach area, but I absolutely adore Ventura. I lived in Santa Clarita (where Six Flags Magic Mountain is), and I took this highway that went through Fillmore, Santa Paula, and endless orange groves until you finally hit PCH/Ventura simultaneously, and I usually got off at like the first or second exit from getting on US-1, and I love that whole area. It's great. My ex lived in the Thousand Oaks/Oak Park/Simi Valley area, and while it's nice and EXTREMELY safe (not as expensive as you'd think), it's pretty boring and kind of seperated from the rest of LA (not that Ventura isn't obviously, but it's just down PCH or the 101 to hit up the city). Not a big fan of living in NoCal, but it's nice to visit, particularly if you have friends up there already. One of my best friends from high school lives in Goleta and goes to UCSB, trust me, Santa Barbara is VERY nice and beautiful, but expensive to live in. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yea oxnard is basically right next to us, as PH isnt too big an dthere are no city boundaries so like one side of the street may be PH and the other Oxnard. We are basically a beach and Naval Base city. Ventura I like the place, I guess I wouldnt really mind living there but I dont find it too great. I think its the people that get to me. Otherwise it is a nice city with lots of shopping areas and fun places to go. The mall is cool, but far too expensive for my tastes. Esepcially for my electronics/home entertainment needs. All they got is Sam Goody and Suncoast which is very expensive I like where I am right now though. I can get to ventura pretty quicky too as mentioned. T.O. is pretty boring I agree. The only reason I said that was cuz of it safety (though bad crimes do happen sometimes) and quietness, but being a big city boy, I now think I wouldnt really like living there. I'm happier in the big city/ghettos environment. But the beach area is very interesting. I still can't belive I live here even after 11 years, considering where I came from (the old ghetto areas of Yonkers, NY though it is much worse now then it was when I was a kid there)
-
Sure there is. The voiceovers dont have to be brand specific. thus the storylines will be the same if you choose to be on raw or sd. just like in sd vs raw, they ahd the same storylines whether you were on either show.
-
I loved it. The references are happeneing more and more, but I love it. It's absurd and bizzare humor, which I love. The actual stories are getting thin though I will admit. I marked for Joe telling Lois this is just standard procedures, before punching her right in the face.
-
Well I was unaware of that. I suck!
-
Ok, Someone should make a "I'm Taping Nitro" sign for old times sake. It would be even cooler if Bischoff saw it.

Zynn I'm sorry for posting so much lol I got your "joke" I was just popping in and out while watching the match. Seriosuly, though we would all like to see A Benoit -Regal program, the general non-and non full smarks fans woudl nto understand it without a strong storyline of betrayal or beatdowns or some such. However, one great PPV match would have the live crowd get into it, especially if it was the opener. I would have that PPV macth at No Mercy The announcers could pimp it on the sd after the ppv and it could lead to several big rematches or tag matches on SD climaxing with a big blowoff at say Survivor Series, unless you want to drag it to Armageddon. I think this whole board would stop complaining for at least a week if Benoit-Regal in a 60 minute iron man match happened on a PPV. and I'd bet all of us would go out of the way to see it, and actually buy the PPV shooting up the buyrate, and of course makign WWE think it was the lame main event whatever it is that drew it.

Shouldn't Conway be a face now that he has denounced being A french guy? You'd think they would have made him a Luger circa 93-95 clone lol

ANOTHER EDGE-KANE MATCH? WHY!!!!!!!! IN A CAGE TOO? UGHHHHHHHH WHY HAVE THOU FORSAKEN ME, WWE CREATIVE?
-
Wow Daivaris younger than me. I knew Dupree was a year younger but geez, a year younger and already in wwe for two years. Cant believe Heyman is only 39, hes been around sicne the mid 80s at least right? Taker-43, no big shock
-
Ok new idea, I dumped Masters (hopefully his biweekly trend continues) and Animal (hey hes likely to have just an appearance onsd and lose the ppv match) and added Booker T (likely to have a match on sd and has one at the ppv that he may win) and theodore long (extra cash left, hell likely make at least one appearance on sd and probably at the ppv) my luck animal will have a match on sd and win and will then win the tag titles and masters will have a masterlock challenge tonight oh well, I'm counting on those big ppv points, I want to be in the leaderboard for the week at least once, but with ppv its hard. So now I have all Sd people Booker T Long Benoit Batista MNM (all 3) Torrie Eddie cmon get me some points.
-
Yknow Masters only costs 2,500. So even if I did sell him, who could I get?
