actually he did do a regular swinging neckbreaker at least once on sd or maybe velocity I think. I forget who he beat with it. He didnt have too many matches on tv, when he got hurt. Yes he also did do the overdrive or play of the day or ozone or whatever you like to call it.

Yes they have done it again. The reason Jericho is motivated to get a title shot-you guessed it, he wants more record sales. I think that is enough said about the mindset of WWE.

I understand that, the only place I can actually consistently find the WWE dvds is at the overpriced stores like suncoast, sam goody, or borders. Best buy is usually pretty good too. Clearly it's not 1998 anymore, when you could find a million things regarding the wwf or wcw at basically every store.

My scores from RAW Team: IWC 4 LIFE Batista-39 Jericho- 6 Cena-31 Angle-26 Maria-3 HBK-14 HHH-26 (Funny he doesnt show up till theres 10 mins left in airtime, yet still manages 26 points lol) Total for last night 145 points (Way better than last week's 60, but then again I have all RAW guys) My 2 week total is a whopping 255 points, and I'm ranked so high at 5100 (but thats up a lot from last week) Man If I had picked better last week Id be doing well. The PPV should give me some nice points. Actually I should probably be rooting for both jericho and hhh to win the titles cuz that would mean an extra 20 points each. well I lost 4 points for the angle dq but the impromptu tag match sure helped as it got both hhh and shanw on the show and in match and in a final match as well. I tallied over 100 points, but I should check wwe.com to see official scoring. i'll post the update soon.

It was a pretty good fight. But Tarver got on my nerves in the last round by holding onto Johnson anf trying to not get knocked out. Johnson came on strong in the 11th and looked like he could put Tarver down but the bell came too sound. Sure it was a smart strategy by Tarver, but it made the fight end on a non-dramatic note after 11 rounds of good boxing. I aint paying that price for PPV but I hope Gatti wins. Despte him being Italian (and a french-canadian as well which is really weird) lol I am always entertained by his ring antics and lately he has seemed more serious in the ring. Smart money would pick Mayweather but who knows. Hopefully HBO will show the replay next week.

Inn-n-out is good enough. I like their fries and shakes more. Carls jr six dollar burger is excellent. The best one here in socal to me is The Habit. They have charbroiled burgers and they are awesome. Nonchain-there is a mexican rest here that serves cheesburgers ( i guess for the kiddees) but I don't like mexi food so I always oder the burgers there and they are quite good.

Matt I havent felt any of these recent ones(and I probably should have considering I live basically on the beach), but my mom is scared now. I have been in Cali for almost 11 years and I have only felt like two quakes. My dad is visiting in NY right now and keeps calling, gettign worried when he hears reports. Being close to the ocean everyone is afraid of Tsunamis (as the LA area actually got a warning last week when one hit-though it was only about 1cm tsunami) I have an interesting story, when I was a kid in the 80s we actually had a quake in NYC. It was really bizzare. I had no clue what was happening, my parents freaked out and grabbed me and forgot about my baby sister who slept through it in her crib. I moved here just months after the Northridge quake. I understand that it was felt here alot, as some friends houses were messed up. when I was in 11th grade, We had a little one while I was in English class taking a test. We just shrugged it off and continued the test, but my sisters teacher , who also taught me in a diff class(who was legit crazy-infact later on she got put in a instution)went insane with fear and started to yell and run around campus. I felt a nice one in near xmas time 2003. It was a roller and I felt a little dizzy and the floor was moving and the walls were moving like "wee-wahhhh" Last year some fools predicted the big one for a day in sept but obviosuly were wrong. It is a bit scary though.

I think that his world title reign flopped from the start because they put it on him seemingly out of nowhere. Sure he had upset Rock for the WCW title at No Mercy, but he still wasn't a true main eventer at that point. Most fans even the smarks didn't think that he'd be the one to unify the titles. As such when he did, the people just didn't accept it. I have heard numerous fans at shows complain about how it was Jericho who unified the title, which leads me to believe that his beliveability as a main level guy was damaged even before the lame duck transitional champ regin. That being said the WWF at the time obviously didn't want him to succeed as champ as they had already planned out HHH's triumphant return as the conquering babyface at WM. If the title run was handled differently, perhaps he would have "drawn" better as champ, but that would negate the preconceived plans of the WWF. Cleary HHH never got over as a big face as Vince thought he would, and thus he made the mistake of putting the belt on Hogan who was getting nostaligia pops and reactions. One of the biggest problems and complaints about Vince is that he is always reluctant to change with the times. He contiunues to stick with the angles and character types that did well in the past (ie trying to build Luger, Then Nash as the "new hogan" in the mid 90s, to the current day as he desperately tries to hang onto the attitude era and find a "new Stone Cold"- his latest flop being Randy Orton's failed face run on RAW) He also hates to change things when fans dictate them, but he was forced to when Batista got too over and Orton was not accepted by the fans. Even then, since his face turn Batista has been watered down and made to look like a fool. I myself am not as fervently a Jericho fan as I once was, as his character has been so messed around and his ringstyle so toned down, that I don't find him as entertaining as I once did and know he can still be (Infact the reason I chose the name Jericholic when I first came on these forums was becuase it was Feb of 02, near the end of his terrible run as champ and I was so pissed about his mistreatment that I went out of my way to show my displeasure and my loyalty to my favoorite wrestler). This is why I don't try to even argue anymore about whether he should have beaten Michaels or not. I try to convince myself it doesn't matter. I have lost a lot of my passion for pro wrestling as it becomes clear that the people providing this entertainment form to us don't give a damn what any of us care, despite the fact that we are responsible for the big houses and fancy cars the bigwigs at WWE have. If it weren't for I guess force of habit and lack of competition I probably wouldn't even be watching any WWE progams or PPVs anymore. And perhaps I shouldn't. The sad things is that we all know it can be better. And that is the reason why we do complain, not to be know-it alls, but because we know it can be better and we do want it to succees. I don't blame Chris for allowing this crap to happen as it is his job and he needs to put food on his table. Hell we know he can be the whiny, arrogant heel and still be beliveable, just witness his WCW heel run. People complain about how WCW mistreated wrestlers, but actually they gave a hell of a lot more respect to Jericho than the WWF/E ever has. Well at least before his legs got cut out from under him, he at least he won matches cleanly and didn't always have to cheat. That's what made him an even stronger heel. But no one in WWE is willing to job to anyone else in fear oh losing their spot. And though I hate to sound like every other smark on the net, why is there no room for another top heel when HHH is on the show? And why must it be him to be the only heel who can win cleanly most of the time? Vince better be happy that there is no competition at this time, because if there was a strong one, he might be in trouble. As for Jericho, once again though he is getting a main eventish spot (we all know what the real main event at Vengeance is), it has come so out of nowhere and out of the dropped "Jericho doesn't care angle". I have no problem if that angle were to lead to him rediscovering his passion and having a main event run, but not within 2 weeks. I fear for Cena (who is still legitamtely over and selling merchandise like crazy), as he has already had to be pushed to the side due to HHH (as like at Mania where yes he did win the title, but in such a lame match with such a pedestrian finish -when we have seen what kind of match he and JBK could put out with no restrictions- so as to not steal any heat from HHH's big moment in the main event.) Clearly the triple threat is an afterthought as Trips gets ANOTHER TITLE MATCH in "his match" the HIAC. Just as Benoit was overshadowed last year at the June PPV. Despte the old WWF attitude commercial, it's quite the contrary, Vince just doesn't "Get it"

who "draws" anymore? fans go to a wwe show to see the wwe, not one wrestler. its been a while since one guy was able to bring them in (IMO the last guy to effectively do that was Austin and you can argue rock to a lesser extent) and even then the hwole expereience is probably what sold tix. and if you do believe this career death stuff, then the botched undisputed title reign and lame wm match was probably the final nail. Though I enjoy him as a performer, I am not going to sit here and whine about how the guy I like isn't pushed enough, that's what makes me hate being a so called smark sometimes.

remember its Buck and McCarer possibly the worst announcing team to ever call the postseason, they alternate between kissing diffrent players asses. Usually in the playoffs buck and mcarver come across as though they hate the yanks anyway. first GS or no they won the game thats what matters to me, sure I'm happy for him but in the long run it wasnt who hit it or who he hit it off it was the fact that it happened effectively ending the game in the 6th. yea heyman was still on raw during the invasion, tazz did sd with cole. but when lawler returned tazz left (but returned by december as a wwf resigned wrestler)as the alliance was defeated. so king did both raw and sd for a time.
