I want this one now!!!! Best buy has it cheapest for 19.99 but DEEPDISCOUNTDVD has it for 13.48 w/ free shipping, but I don't want to wait that long, as the last video I ordered there took 2 weeks to ship to me.

Jesse sued the WWF back in 94 for royalties from videotapes. He is the only announcer with the guts to claim his voice and try to get paid. The agreement in the case said they can use his voice, so long as the matches he commented on had already been released on video (so anything on coliseum home video I'd asumme). by the wwf/e. That's why anything from WCW is off-limits, as Vicne is too cheap to throw Jesse some more cash.

I'm sorry, but this warrants some discussion
Jericholic82 replied to Dangerous A's topic in The WWE Folder
I also was shocked by the comment. If this was 1999, the media would be all over this. The reason why they couldn't make it a tweener character is that the majority of the American live audience will automatically boo anyone who represents any kind of nationality other then the USA. and the fans are also quick to accept any stereotype (like how Itailan gimmick wrestlers gets wheres my pizza chants) It's been imbued in their minds for years, as wrestling has been doing the evil foreigner gimmick for over 50 years now, all the way back to wwII era w/evil German gimmicks. My guess is Vince looked at Magnus and thought "hey he looks like an A-rab, lets gimmick him up". Being half-Italian, I feel sorry for Mark, but it's not like he turned it down, and would you blame him? WWE offered him a spot on RAW almost every week, a feud with Hulk Hogan, and an in ring segment with Stone Cold. Just as Slaughter was willing to go along with the turncoat angle in 90, Hassan had no problem selling his soul for some cash and fame. And as the years go by we find more reasons to dislike Steve Austin, who at one time had everyone in the palm of his hands, but flushed it away with his primadonna attitude and alleged wife-beating ways. -
WWE.com stated that once a worker is drafted, he can't be drafted again. Well ok then thanks for the info, though it now makes my whole topic utterly useless. Can't belive I missed that on the website. oops

Early number of ONS buys in
Jericholic82 replied to Angles Broken Fricken Neck's topic in The WWE Folder
if this is true you just know vince and co will attribute it to wwes involvement in the show and promotion of it. just like how heyman said on byte this that they stopped giving numbers for the rise and fall dvd, conveinetly when it got really really close to passing wm xx on the all time list. -
I remember in health class out teacher showed us the back of a sweet n low packet and it said "Contains sacchrine, which has been known to cause cancer in lab rats" I can't beleive they can sell that crap then.

I like 4 cheese pizza ones. Now they have a 5 cheese one too, but it's not much different. I used to eat them almost every day in HS cuz our cafeteria pretty much always offered them for lunch.

All Star 2005 is incredibly underrated. Expansion mode is remarkably cool. yea the expansion mode is really cool. you can choose mascots and logos and from a bunch of cities and stadiums. Damn I have to go back and finish my ASB expansion season(as, get this, The Edmonton Fury, no reason for choosing the city, I just thought it would be funny to have a baseball team there and I guess as a tribute to Benoit) , as I have been busy with mlb 2k5

Undertaker (3-disc), HHH (3-disc), Ladder Matches
Jericholic82 replied to Downhome's topic in The WWE Folder
They mentioned that in wwf magazine in 98. They said Taker had called himself Kane The Undertaker originally as a tribute. though at survivor series 1990, Dibiase clearly calls him The Undertaker. (the funnier part is when Monsoon I think actually called the tombstone by that name, which was dumb cuz he wasn;t supposed to know anything about the newcomer. that and that version of the piledriver was rarely used and didn't have a name till taker came about, which is part of his legacy to wrestling, as he basically named a move) It would be cool to have that match as an extra as well as some footage of him being called Kane, but what can you do. actually I think it would be cool if WWE put out a best of superstars and challenge dvd set. but that will probably be saved for 24/7. -
Sorry for starting a new thread, but.....
Jericholic82 replied to iggymcfly's topic in The WWE Folder
damn I missed it too as my neighbors decided not to get it. I figured Id wait 2 weeks for the dvd and am trying to avoid the results, hopefully wwe won't give too much away on raw and sd. (infact I would rather not hear anything from them) dling seems too risky (as well as being illegal lol) so I can wait 14 days. -
Kudos to rick for the what is it line. if you have seen airplane then you get the joke. the sequel was ok, I always found it hysterical when Robert Hays tries to escape the mental institution and there are spotlights following him and all of a sudden the lights shine and he passes a guy singing into a mic. I enjoy the airplane movies as well as naked gun of course(and yes lushus, the banana falling out of als mouth was a hilarious bit) . Top secret was indeed funny in its own way. Damn can't there be any good parody movies anymore?

what no love for the aids song? lol the show was ok and some good moments, enough to save it from being a total waste. Funny my onscreen tv guide actually said Randy Savage would be a guest voice on the show so when I saw the wrestling I said ok cool. Then it turned out to be a bad imitation (thant and the fact that the animated version looked like 80s macho man, more than what he looks like now). The Hidenpeter and petercopter were great, as well as Joes reactions "where do you get the money for those things?" Brian spanking Lois was gold as was peter pretending to have sex with brian with masks on to make cleveland angry. and of course when Peter got kicked in the nuts.

One and Only "ECW: One Night Stand" Thread
Jericholic82 replied to GreatWhiteNope's topic in The WWE Folder
I'm on the west coast so Heat airs at 7 our time, while the ppv is on. Myabe Ill tape it just incase theres a match or something cool. -
On Byte This during a video package they showed the ECW on TNN logo. I guess they liked it, but they could have at least blurred out the TNN part cuz it looks dumb. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ECW used the "ECW On TNN" video opening for Hardcore TV long after they were off TNN. It just looks cool, I guess. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thats right I forgot, Yea I guess it just looks cool.

Nope, but when I was in high school, a teacher at my school was on Hollywood Squares and won. He was a big hero at school the day after it aired.

The One and Only Buffy & Angel Thread
Jericholic82 replied to The Dames's topic in Television & Film
Yea, like most of TSM -
And that's sad, considering This Is Extreme is a good enough song. Actually I think it would be cool if they had the old school ECW opening with the first part of Closer, then seque into Thunderkiss 65 (i think thats the name, it was alos the pitbulls theme) Think that is bad? On Byte This during a video package they showed the ECW on TNN logo. I guess they liked it, but they could have at least blurred out the TNN part cuz it looks dumb.

the ramp was very old school. I liked it. reminded me of early 90s wcw that used the big wooden ramp on all the big shows.
