ah the ubiquitous newboards. Prowrestling.com (aka The Internet Wrestling Zone) was the first news site I ever went to and was where I basically learned about insider stuff and terms and turned me into a smark. Back in those days 98-99 the site was pretty good, though some flase rumors got posted there alot. I used to write a column while in high school for a cheap site with a lame newsboard, but I had alot of fun doing it.

That rumble match was brutal. I was ROTFL at my friends house watching steiner blown up and tripping while doing moves and Trips had this look on his face. Crazy stuff, you wonder why WWE decided TO HAVE A REMATCH AT THE NEXT PPV (which wasn;t as bad as the rumble one though) kudos to the boston crowd for letting steiner hear it.

Just saw soemthing online, someone said that they thought the show rigged it to get rid of consta cuz he went on mtv to announces his band signing a record contract. HMMMMMM Any backlash on Bo's drug bust yet? I saw it on the E channel Blurb.

Yup it is, I noticed that as soon as I hear dit. Wonder why he just didnt keep the theme he had when he was on Sd in late 03 and early 04 (well actually he had two themes then) then agian WWE wants us to forget that he ever was on TV before, despite being on Team Lesnar at the 03 Survivor Series.

Agreed. And even when I apply to the fast food places, they always treat me rude and never call me back for an interview. Hell once I went to Subway, and kept calling on the phone to see when the manager would be in and when she made it there, I went and she was too busy to see me and told me to wait for the call back. Never heard from them. Of course having no job experience or resume really helps a lot I am sure.

That is kinda creepy. But not too surprising, considering it was a video game, and lots of movies and games had been made about blowing up landmarks.. Good thing the media hasn't got a hold of this yet.

Maybe people didn't like Constantines smiling? Who knows. I think that Scott might have gotten a lot of sympathy votes due to his sappy video package and Simon's comments. Or maybe people didn't come out to vote for Const, figuring he'd make it thru anyhow. Or also they may have just not liked his performance on Tuesday (like me, though I would not have cut him yet). Or maybe people came out of the woodwork to vote for the "average joe" as they put it. Personally I like Scott, I don't think he is a great singer by any means , just a good singer with maybe a little potential, but I guess I rooted for him because he looks different than your average idol. That being said he probably won't win this. As I said before, Const should have stuck to the crooning stuff, I think he found his niche there.

I forgot to mention before, but I only got to see Candido live one time, at an XPW show on May 28, 2000 (This was actually after he had debuted in WCW and I believe he was on Nitro the next night Against Terry Funk in the hardcore match mentioned before). Not only did I enjoy his match (w/Tammy in his corner vs The Messiah), but during intermission, he was the only wrestler (along with Tammy) who came out of the back to just hang out and chat with the fans and sign autographs, he was really cool to all of us. I was sad that I didn't get his autograph (I didn;t have anything with me to sign or a pen ). I always remembered this and any time I saw him on TV it made me think of how nice he was to spend time with the fans. Just thought I'd share a nice story about him.

Actually this so mirrored the strike force breakup, right down to the missed flying forearm type thing.

Yea, I thought the Starrcade 96 match was for the title, until the show came and Piper won and wasnt the champ. I also assumed th havoc matc was for the title, but nope. Interestingly, it took Piper 12 years to finally job to Hogan. And he won the WCW series 2-1. HMMMMph

You made me think, why would Vicne want shawn over austin as champ. I mean Shawn was in fullblown DX mode at the time. Crotch chopping, dick jokes, etc. That exaclty wasnt a PR dream either.

I think WWE finally found a way to make Eddie a heel again. Rey is the perfect guy to use, cuz the fans love him no matter what mostly cuz hes the underdog little guy. I am really into this angle and am happy that WWE has finally fgound something to do for Eddie.
