Actually, at the time it looked like their big program for the summer was going to be Austin/Rock. I don't think anyone on earth has a decent explanation for why Austin/Rock didn't headline SummerSlam in 2001. It could have had the biggest non-WM buyrate in history. Thats a good point. I assume they were going to save it for later on down the line, but the invasion bombed so they had to drop it by survivor series.

I only found the 96 and 97 in stores havent seen one since, though my friend in high school was able to get the 2000 version.

Rick Sutcliffe sucks. during the yanks sox yesterday he (and to a lesser extent berman) was on a mission to verbally make love to curt schilling, I have never heard so much praise for one player. and he had plenty of contardictions. ex: When he came out for the 6th, RS said its ok Schiling routinely throws over 100 picthes. then we he got rocked, sut then said well you knwo the yanksees are going to score runs. It woulda ppear that he was going out of his way to make excuses for Curt losing the game. JESUS H CHRIST oh no its 4 time to see another game one espn (cant afford the extra innings deal right now so im stuck) with these great announcers and I agree that they spend too much time on the rivalry, and this is coming from a hardcore Yanks fan

and I agree about the fans being condiditoned to thinking he will always win the title back. but its getting lame. but this pretty much a flair retread. Cuz in the 80s the nwa/wcw title revolved around him all the time. And most of those years he was a dominant heel who would lose the title sometimes but always regain it. At least he refreshed with some face turns.

I dont understand why HHH feels compeleld to constantly be in the main event. i know its not about money because he has made enough of that and wont have any financial problems especially since hes married to the heir of the company. It must be ego. But you would think hed get bored with that. I think this has a lot to do with the clique incident in 96 and getting punished for it. Once he got a chance to the top he didnt want to leave. That may have made him into this. But at least he doesnt throw tantrums like his old buddy Shawn.

hey did the old SA thread die? anyhow. I still have yet to beat the game (not 100 percent im talking about all regular story missions) and I have had this game since the day it came out. Mostly its due to me not playing the game all the time, infact going weeks without playing, as well as buying other games (like Sd vs RAW, and recently MLB 2k5) and playing them more often. Last mission I beat was robbing the caligulas and that was over a week ago. Man I need to go and finish this already. I still only have that priginal save file plus a backup 2nd file incase any problems arise. Am I the only one who hasnt beat it yet that got it back in october?

When did everyone start hating SK? I know hes annoying sometimes but lately especially here no one likes him. Yea hes goofy looking and uses dumb phrases in his reviews, but hes usually pretty good when it comes to reviewing a show and recommending it. Even if he does use weird canadian humor that nearly 90 percent of the readers dont get. ah forget it, I hate that useless stupid moron.

I dont think this show will last. Why does Pam get a show? Shes getting old (and starting to show it) and never could act or even be funny. and dont hate on The Mullets. I liked that show in a strange way. Life On A stick is better than Stacked IMO but not by much. It could surprise us. Quintuplets got a full season after all (good cuz I like it, somehow I fear it wont be coming back) I always seem to enjoy Foxs lame, weird, dumb, or all three sitcoms.

I like arrogance. Then again Im a wrestling fan (a smark at that so I like heels) Scott had a hard time with the low notes but did ok at the other parts. I fel bad for Nadia, as she never seemed to catch on with the fans though she lasted quite a while. Vonzell is good, but too generic. Actually Constantine is also surprising me. I think scotts going next (he's been losing votes especially since his arrest cam out in the media) , as they are running out of girls and I dont think the network or the producers want to have all guys at the end (though they did in season 2 with the final 2) Nadia was different, she had more of a rock vibe to her and wasnt a typical "black r and b soul singer" (I'm not trying to be racist here but hear me out) which makes me think thats why he didnt have as much support and was constantly in the bottom 3. That kinda sucks. Anyhow I'm still waiting for a blowaway show but I guess well have to wait for the last one for that. Bo made a bad choice of song as it was near impossible to chope up Freebird into less tahn 2 mins. As for Simon saying the audience would really understand it, I hope they realize that not all of idols audience are 13 years olds who think Britney Spears and Nyync are legends of rocknroll. Hell even I know that song and I was born in 1982. and one more thing the judges are acting way too bipolar lately. They basically have complained about Carrie for weeks and when she decides to shake things up with a different style of performance she gets mostly bad reviews. I'm not saying she was great but she was very good and seems to be the most consistent in holding her notes and staying on key (thus I mean she seems like she is ready to record right now yknow?) My thoughts right now? a Constantine and Carrie finale. Not saying it's my choice but thats the feeling I get.

I would techincally call that a clean job becuase the interference only led to a 2 count, and Michaels tapped. So the interference didnt necessarlily lead to the finish. Ok Im reaching here but I am a Jericho mark of course. Of course I was also a big HBK mark from 95-98 so this splits my loyalty. I'm going to go dig that tape up and watch it later.
