Some interesting Survivor Series 1997 stuff
Jericholic82 replied to JoeDirt's topic in General Wrestling
I'm glad shawn didnt wrestle bret at wm 13 instead we got on of the all time classic matches and moments. And it led to the sudden rise by Austin so it's all good. I think we should just stop debating this cuz it happened 7 and a half years ago. -

do you remember the show when raw finally beat nitro? It was the night Austin challenged vince to a match with one arm tied behind his back. If the Evil Mr Mcmahon never came about, would they have broken the streak? -
This show creeps me out with the true stories.

That's really ghey. Jericho said on byte this that the ayatollas shirt idea was requested by fans on wwe.com they did a poll with different designs and phrases and that won so.....
-
well except for the 6 man, which appears to be some sort of wargames ripoff so it might be ok even if the guys in there are old and cant work.
-
That's really smart of Sean. Burn some more bridges.

wont a whole ppv of cage matches get boring around the 3rd match or so? why was it a good idea to change the show idea? It just like the overhyping of "six sides of steel" its a frickin cage match who cares if there are more sides on it?
-
or when House told some people standing there "These are my Vicodin I take them for my leg pain and no you cant have any" (or something to that effect)

I dont want to have to call into Byte This and ask Droz "Hey dude can you use your hands?"

now im confused, does anybody know the real truth?

How the hell were they suposed to use him? The shit that he did in ECW wouldn't have been believable in the WWE. They also did try to establish him in the WWE because I remember him sending people through tables, sending people through the Smackdown set, being an enforcer for Edge & Chirstian, being a big player in the INvasion, getting a shot at the heavyweight championsip and those are just things off the top of my head. The man got hurt and never provided them with anythnig meaningful afterwards. He created a very embarassing scene at their biggest event of the year. He didn't break the flower pot by accident, he was fighting with his wife and smashed the shit. I don't see why anyblody is really upset about him getting fired. ah the gore thru the old sd set. I was there at staple center for that one. took them 20 plus minutes to fix it too. It looked cool from my view cuz I was right side of the entrance, close to the set, (well kind far up off the floor ) Too bad thats his major highlight in WWE, but hey the guys just too small to be a believeable monster heel in WWE (not saying the fans wouldnt buy it, but we know vince wont) LOL At Lawler on the ECW dvd as he said the first thing he noticed when ECW invaded RAW in 97, was how small all the wrestlers were. which leads to the quote of the day by The King "You know he looks a lot taller on the Lucky Charms Box (refrerring to Taz)"

I think he can use his arms hands and fingers, Mick foley said in his book that he had lost the feeling below his waist. anyhow droz is on byte this by phone each week and he always sounds like he is having fun. Glad to see that he still has something to do with his life that he can enjoy.

Abby was IN WCW????? Yea, and infact if he hadnt been, Id never would have seen him. The first time I knew of him he was in WCW. He came in to tag with cactus agaisnt sting and multiple partners of stings choice. Abby and cactus seemed to have broken up around superbrawl 2, but after Ron beat cactus at superbrawl, abby came out and attacked....RON? The Junkyard Dog who was in the audience, made the save. -
No. ok, just wondering what everone else thought. Id have to see it again before putting it on the list.

As George Carlin said (paraphrasing here guys) " If I Don't vote, I have every right to complain. Cuz I didnt vote for this guy, you did, its your fault" anyhow Greend Day gets my props for making a song like that, even if It meant very little to the USA. At least the song is good.

In hinsight the scewing helped the WWF most. Vince was able to transform into the Mr. Mcmahon eveil boss character, which gave Austin his enemy and made the WWF so big in 98 -
MARY?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What kind of drugs were the creative team on? and where can I get some of them?

Really? You're missing out. My mom has been a huge Sopranos fan since it debuted and she finally got me to watch it on a regular basis and I got hugely into it.
