That being said, the yanks-os was a good game today. And the yanks continue to play the comeback kids (with lots of money in their pockets) from last year. Also shows why Randy agreed to come to the Bronx. Even when he has a bad day and gives up 5 runs, the Yanks find a way to bail him out on offense. I didnt see the Boston Game much. I saw the score was 5-4 after an ortiz homer, then was shocked to see that Toronto won by that score. In any events, it looks liek the orioles will be a tough team this year as they have a very potent lineup. If they had a better pitching staff they might contend.

Actually the night he lost to booker, he was fired that night, thats why they taped the Rodney attacking him angle (they first aired it on Heat the next sunday). as for Droz a manager? it would be in poor taste, and it would be hard to make him a heel sicne hed be in a wheelchair and all.

I dont see why Paul was taken off tv anyway. I think the Bash burial was done to turn Taker heel (well before EDDIE decided he couldnt take it and jobbed to JBL the early rumors for Summerslam was for an Eddie vs Taker main event with Taker as teh heel) but even after the booking changed they still had taker do it for no good reason. I guess they didnt want Taker to have a manager?

I am not taking his side. I'm just saying that it was Vince who went to Bret and asked to break the contract and convinced him to negotiate with WCW. Vince obviously wanted Bret gone. Bret was the one who refused to put over Shawn (not that I blame him too much) in Montreal. But Bret probably should have just swallowed his pride and lost to shawn at survivor series. Then the screwjob would never have happened. Maybe Bret would be in the hall of fame right now too (although if owen had still died, the friction would still be there) What I mean is, despite shawns indiscretions, why did Bret refuse to lose in Canada? I mean WWf/E has had plenty of people job in their hometowns before with little trouble. I mean Bret also basically refused to turn full heel a(Just in the US) before this. Yea Shawn was an a-hole, but you can also argue about Bret. That being said, Vince should have had more confidence in Bret. Bret would never degrade the WWF title, even if he was offered extra cash IMO

Beulah left Raven by announcing she was pregnant somewhere between Holiday Hell 95 (December 95) and Cyberslam 96 (January 96), and I seem to remember her joining Raven in February 95 so that's aprox 11 months as far as I can recall.... The angle took place in the Pitbull 2 vs Shane Douglas vs Jericho vs Scorpio match at Heatwave 96- here's an old pbp I found... Douglas had BTB suplexed Francine on ecw tv one night, then pitbull 2 came out and got an impromptu tv title match, which PB won. PB went on to lose to the TV title To Chris Jericho at Hardcore Heaven 96. Jericho in turn was the first guy eliminated in the 4 way match, that Douglas eventually won after francine turned (though she had no real impact on the finish as the bulls had taken her out, which then followed with shaen ddting pb 1 on the belt, "breaking his neck") The 4 way match with the francine turn is on the "Path of Destruction" VHS AND DVD from late 2000 released on Pioneer Sports Home Video. ( I have the VHS)

ah yes memories. In th early 90s when I got into wrestling, superstars was on my local (NY) fox network at 12 pm every sat and challenge was at 12pm every sunday. after supertstars I got gladiators. Add those with sat mornign cartoons and I had a cool weekend lol

The three way at wm xx is higly overrated. Its a great match that holds up on repeated viewings, but it only gets notice basically cuz of who won and the celeberation afterward. Actually I think Scott resembles Glen Jacobs (Kane) in a way. Maybe hes is his evil half-brother, well the one not named Undertaker. and that hair is pretty bad, he should go with a buzz cut. then again they are canadaian so what do you expect them to look like? yea, i think it maight even have been the raw the same week as the match with dlo where he got hurt. I think gtv showed it and it set up the droz/dlo match on sd, and we all know what happened then. That really sucks. Droz is still calling in every week on byte this and seems to be in good spirits. Foley mentioned in Foley is Good how droz called for dlo to come over to him as the ambulance loaded him in and told him it wasnt his fault. That takes guts.
