this sucks. I bought my first nfl game for ps 2 (had a ps2 since dec 02) and it was espn 2k5. the price intrigued me and I just fell in love with the game (not literally) The best football game I have played PERIOD. I have been having tons of fun with franchise mode and simulating this years playoffs. My jets-chargers sim came very close to the actual game itself, except the chargers failed to score on the final drive to tie it. anyhow EA is the antichrist in the words of good ol JR damn you, damn your soul to hell -

actually Cena cheated to win the match, solidly making him a heel. He had done a pre-match promo verbally bashing kidman for losing the match for their team in the tourney. Cena then teamed up with matt hardy to face kidman and someone else I cant recall at this point at the next sd I think. Cena didnt become the rapper untill the halloween night 02 sd when he dressed up as Vanilla Ice and rapped to steph. The next week he was rapping about himself and rikishi (his opponent for the night) Then B Squared/B-2 debuted and cena had a battlle rap in the ring against rikishi and attacked him during it. He accidentily hit Tazz(the mc for the thing) so Tazz choked out Cena with the tazzmision and Tazz danced a little with Rikishi (not many people remember this huh? I think its on the cena dvd)

well with JBL, the booking has been that pretty much everyone could have beaten him by now but he keeps getting lucky and having interference by either one of his guys or others (like heidenreich and reigns/jindrak last night) to save his title, so Cena beating him without interference by anyone would be fine. However, Bradshaws honky tonk man like reign is so calling out for Big Show to squash him like a grape ala the warrior at summerslam 88 actually if batista changed shows right now and murdered (not literally) JBL at mania things could be inetersting, but you cant pass up on the evo split as that angle has run its course by now (and so has hhh defending a world title at every wm and this year could be the 2nd in a row he loses to the next big face) We need a year to go by without a trips title reign, he doesnt need it to keep his heat. Hes way over as a heel without evolution by his side or a title.

I got the awards issue of PWI on sat (jan 29) wtf the cover price was 8.95? rite-aid only charged me 7.95 though (big whoop) Havent bought a PWI mag in nearly three years. Theyre not all kayfabe anymore, in fact they mostly are smarkish, except for the "fan comments" on the awards and how edges lead in the comeback category dwindled after he turned heel . (then again maybe alot of marks still read pwi and vote) I havent been able to get the almanac since 1997 so I hope this year I can find it ...geez. also got the best of 2004 wwe mag. alot of pics and results and photos from every wwe ppv of 04 Benoit won Raw superstar of the year and JBL won sds (huh?)

and I too kept waiting for Rude to attack sting from behind and hit the rude awakening. I remember how Rude was commentating when the nwo took over nitro in december 97 (the nitro before starrcade) and verbally buried sting talking about how much he hated him for ending his career. so it was weird to see that.

$11.99??? Are you serious? Did they sell you a jar of Vaseline to go with that, because you got SCREWED! The suggested retail price on the Andre DVD is $9.95 - as in, that's what WWE Shopzone is charging for it. You can order it from Deepdiscountdvd.com for $5.99, and it is available at Best Buy (saw it there tonight) for $6.99. I seriously don't see how places like FYE stay in business . . . they've usually got stuff jacked up WAY too high. Most of the time, WWE DVD's at FYE are at least $4-$6 higher than anywhere else, sometimes even moreso. I once saw WrestleMania XX there for $39.99, when you could get it for $20-$28 if you looked just a little bit. What a f'n ripoff. I'd drive 50 miles for a DVD before I ever gave FYE a dime of my money, but that's just me. I guess if its the only choice you've got, then ya do what ya gotta do. I got wm xx at circuit city for 19.99 last month (and it looked like that was their orign price too since there was no markdown just a price sticker) and all wwe dvds there were also 19.99 (even flairs)

for me Invasion. All that hype had me excited so I bought it at the last minute, and boy did I pay for that in more ways than one. dreadful card with only hardy/rvd being any good (and even that was overrated) and the main event 10 man tag being decent in spots but dissapointing. that and the stupid Austin joining WCW at the end thing . really bad ppv in Second place, maybe King of the Ring 2000 (well my dad bought it for me as a high school graduation present-it occuring just 2 days after my graduation) Sure Kurt Angle won, but the show was horrible. Bad, short matches, and the hardcore evening gown match-shudder and the rock pinning vince mcmahon to become wwf champion. What a classic man i cant even compete with you guys. why would you even order those shows lol actually i cant lie, as a 12 year old mark in 95 I wanted to see KOTR (mainly cuz I was becoming a big HBK mark and also wanted to see bret hart destory lawler and Diesel and BBB win and I thought it would be worth it since there would be a lot of matches due to the tourney) but my dad wouldnt let me since he had paid 40 bucks for wm 11(cuz he ordered it the day of the event) . However I was able to get IYH 2 the next month mainly cuz it was only 14.95 but at least I got the HBK-JJ Ic title classic

It would be kinda impossible for both guys to land at the same time on purpose, only by accident. any double eliminations in battle royals like this always one guy clearly lands first. and yea batista did hurt first, but its not reality that matters its WWES booking team. I guess we were supposed to infer that the refs were being loyal to their brands in declaring winners and btw, WTF was Nick Patrick doing in the ring during the casket match? since when do we have an in ring ref during one of these (that and he appeared to be checking on heidenreich while taker was choking him, and heidi was trying to grab the ropes) and when did the triple threat match become no-dq they didnt announce it during the entarnces did they? (might have missed it?)

how about ECW: We're Not WWES Competition, WE SWEAR (as on the dvd wher Vince basically treats them well, showing he never thought of them as Competition, and since he was bascially bankrolling heyman for a long time, it wasnt) One Night Stand is a decent name for an ECW reunion (which it should be treated as, not all smarks get excited like Special Ed OMG ECW IS BACK YAYYYYYYYYYYYYY-ECW IS DEAD AND IT SHOULD STAY THAT WAY) honestly how many of you would actually order this ppv? I dont think that suncoast would ever have a two disc wwe set for 16 bucks. They always charge retail . (ex I got both Benoit and Foley dvds there for 29.95 each and hogans when it first came out for 24.95) Best Buy usually has them cheap when they first come out, then jacks up the price (ecw came out at 16.99 in nov., by the time I got a copy there in dec it was up to 23.95)

Well I had a hard time hearing it all since I was at my neighbors house and little kids were running around making it hard to judge everything as I mentioned earlier. I mentioned on the rumble thread that Cena is crazy over and it would be a major mistake to not let him take JBLS title as Mania unless they want to completely kill the SD brand-which with all the cancellation rumors wouldnt be a surprise and we kinda know that Vince favors RAW Wonder if theyll edit this at all on the DVD? (I hope Mcmahons slip and slide will be left alone but they did edit Ultime Dragon at wm xx so.... and yknow randys "sh--" comments will be left off)

I didn't think that was so bad. Eddie went over clean at Mania and there's no reason for Angle not to get a high profile job back. My problem was that they followed that up by letting Angle win the TV blowoff matches and transitioned the feud to Luthor Reigns where it just died. Eddie would have been absolutely fine if allowed to win the big TV match between the two. I don't remember exactly because I was watching SD very sporadically at that point, but didn't they have a lumberjack match and then a 2/3 falls match and Angle won both? angle won the 2/3 falls match with reigns' help. the lumberjack match came later and had a SPORTZ-ENTERTAINMENT FINISH TM SCOTT KEITH wher The Big Show Returned to SD and destroyed everyone with chokeslams. so techincally the blowoff never really happened?

you make a good poitn there. I tend to agree on that too which is why I have been wondering how well he will be received after the breakup. HOWEVER if he is booked strong against HHH and has a decent title reign where he destrosy everyone around him , he can be almost Goldbergish (who stayed over for a long time doing nothing but basically squashing everyone in short matches) but hell it beats Orton-HHH at mania so whatever Cena is also crazy over at this point and it would be a mistake to not have him beat JBL at mania, because hell be the last viable contender left after show loses at NWO. if not SD will be hurt severly. Last year WWE took a chance and had bothe Benoit and Eddy win the RAW and SD titles. only Benoit had something you can call a mostly successful title reign (though it was bascially put to a backburner from June-august) I worry about this year and you wonder why most of us hate two titles instead of the undisputed champ who can go on either show to frshen things up.

good tidbits there. anyhow I was kinda dissapointed by 90 sec intervals, but it was a must considering the rumble match started after 10 pm eastern so they couldnt go a faull hour. Hell the show went off the air (to my watch) at 7:56 west coast time. Thats got be a recent record for a ppv show. the slow spots in the orton-hh match and then the fact that they had to go to a backstage segment with jbl-long (this would have been bettre saved for SD but...) meant they couldnt even put on a pre rumble video package and had to go straight to the ring in a hurry. however the rumble worked out fine, excpet for the fact that the ring was clogged up often, but they had nice little spots in there, like benjamin and hass teaming up once again ( apot I marked out for personally) and the raw vs sd battle, nice touch on the hassan thing, even if it does seem a bit wrong somehow lol Id have to see the show a second time to get a real opinion as I got distracted by my friends kids during the show. The dvd should be out soon so maybe Ill pick it up (along with 2004s rumble so I can finally see it ) but it seemed like a pretty solid show with nothing outright sucking. the rumble itselfwas booked pretty solid as usual even without Patterson (though it seemed like his fingerprints were all over this one hmmm?) vince mcmahon sliding in and ending up on his ass was the funniest thing I have seen in recent rumble memory (ok maybe scott steiner blowing up and not being able to execute simple moves in 03 was a tad funnier) Im glad they settled on 1 winner and it was a cute nod to 1994. Batista clearly was the crowd favorite here though. However I wonder how they are going to book a reasonable length match with batista vs hhh

I hate to break it you nate but I doubt Rob will ever be pushed past the midcard DVD or not
