well I did have a thread about this show during its first season in 05, (along with the show starved about a dude with an eating disorder and his crazy friends, which sadly did not get renewed and ended its short run on a cliffhanger kind of) but anyhow yea the show rules again this season. At first I hated the fact that devito came in, but his relationship with charlie is great. and now Ill have the day man song in my head again buy the dvd of the 1st and 2nd season, if you havent watched prior to this year

wonder if house wil lbe affected? (damnit if it is) but hey these writers work their asses off, so dont be too harsh on them my guess is we get tons of reality shows (although those shows have writers too dont they?) fox will beg to start american idol in december probably

how exactly was she the heel here? I mean I know the angle, but her promo told the truth. Vince did all these terrible things ot his family just to mess with austin. this also showed how the hhh-steph marriage thing started out as business, they didnt really love each other, steph went along with it to get back at vince, and trips did it to advance his career and gain some power, as well as stick it to vince. funny enough vince disspeared after this only to return and re-turn heel at wm 16, thus killing this angle , and starting the fac-gime era

I think of his series with Benoit in wwe, specifically the submission match at Judgment Day 2000, and the ladder match at rumble 01, plus his matches with rock at no mercy 01 especially but maybe you're right

it didnt help that she was "Anonymous Brooke" (thanks to Blade Braxton from Wrestlecrap for that title), that being she had no discernible character or personality (other than being a slut for Miz I guess). Plus the girl who won the Diva search, Eve, looks like an almost exact clone of Brooke, so maybe that factored in as well why do the girls in the search even get upset when they lose, you know wwe will just realease 10 or 12 people so they can hire all the finalists.

I was at best buy yesterday (yea it did feel weird) and saw thatthey had no mercy 07 already on the shelves despite the release date being (at least according to My CC) 11/6. I didnt buy it cuz they had it for 19.99 and I can get it cheaper at work, the cover did have orton with the bird in his hand though. so I wound up buying a couple of tna dvds but thats a story for another forum I guess.

I can, but I really havent tried to. 24/7 of course has erased him from history, so Id have to go out of my way to watch a dvd with his matches on it. I always feel different watching a match with now-dead wrestlers, but yea It's hard to think of Benoit without thinking about what happened in the last weekend of his life. shame. hopefully young wrestlers, can still watch these tapes, cuz they would be beneficial to their careers, and maybe give them an idea of how to make wrestling be real and still an art form

anyone else getting sick of non-stop title changes? two years in a row you build sting up to a big title win and he loses it within weeks (this time even sooner), if you're going to do that You might as well give Joe the title since they have pretty much killed all his momentum in favor of Kurt Jarrett (or is that Jeff Angle?)

well its not like any team will be forced to pay Alex 30 million, what would he do if all the owners decided to low ball him (wont happen but just let me talk here) and the most he was offered was 20 mill a year? hed have to take that and like it, or retire. I can't blame him for opting out which was his right (and good planning by boras to put that in the original contract, i mean money-wise) But clearly he is a distraction to the yankees, whether they admit it or not (then again thats just the INSANE ny media). I don't want to see him go, because I know he can be an asset to the team, and eventually you know hell have that breakout post-season performance. But all of that and playoff success sometimes comes down to luck, and getting hot at the right time (look at the yankees, the hottest al team for 3 months running, getting run out of the playoffs in 4 games, by a team who then proceeded to blow a 3-1 lead in the alcs to a red sox team who barely hung on to a 14 game lead in the east) as Torre said its a crapshoot (the 06 cards winning it all may lead credence to that). Not that I mean to cast-off the sox as some also-ran lucky team, cuz Im not that stupid, Yankees super-fan or not. clearly the AL was the dominant league once again and probably any of the 4 AL playoff teams could have won the WS, but only one did, the team that played the best on the big stage. its a transition era now, the new stadium in looming. Hopefully the retooling and rebuilding era will lead to more success for my fav team. and Alex will do well no matter where he ends up and will be in the hall of fame. But as a Yankee, sadly he will be remembered as a guy who couldn't get the job done (whether thats fair or not, and I don't think it is) and I wish he could have stayed and become a Yankee legend. But don't blame Cashman and the Yankee brass for letting him go, it's the one non-rash decision they have made all month. Congrats to red sox fans, enjoy it. Maybe next year vengeance will be ours good luck Alex, and I hope you make 500 kazillion dollars and that can reduce the sadness in never getting a ring I will miss you old friend and to Joe Torre, have fun in LA, I shall misss you most of all Scarecrow cue the violins, cuz I may have just made the lamest, wishy-washy post in TSM history

as I said before ss '90 holds a most special place in my memory as the first ppv I ever saw, and the first time I remember watching a wrestling show and getting into it. cant wait to get it on dvd. plus I never saw ss 95 (outside of bret-diesel on the bret dvd) so thats cool

good question, then again shawn has back almost a month before the 2 interacted. Its not like they broke up dx, hhh got injured, and when he returned shawn was still out. I guess they are just letting us know that they have realized that the dx reunion of 2006 was a terrible mistake and and very boring after awhile. I think they just want to push the two seriously as singles babyfaces (something HHH has not done much of outside of a quick 6 month run in 02 after the first quad injury)

well, I happened to turn on my cable box and it was on cbs and I read the tv guide onscreen to see what it was and I was like I think I heard the name of this show before, whats it about? then I saw "David" and "darlene" on screen together and I was like cool, and watched the rest of the show

I never watched WCW as much as WWF during my youth but I remember when they had someone beat up Ralphus to get back at Jericho. Only problem was that it absolutley backfired because the fans loved Ralphus. Didn't Ralphus die a couple of years ago? did he? I dont remember hearing that but maybe

I think if nothing happens on one or the other show, they'll skip it. They won't skip a show with an important angle, even if it's a no-compete week. We're about to hit the point where Nitro was regularly rescheduled due to the NBA playoffs being shown on TNT. yea I guess, but my point is I like seeing the old shows in order (and recording them as well) though nitro has kinda lots a bit of luster due to the editing out of history of You-Know-Who
