The first ppv i saw was ss90. this was the show that got me into wrestling and that was on thanksgiving night. 91 was on tg eve and we had a bunch of people over to watch it. 93 I missed cuz our box broke i havent seen a ss live since, save for 2001 I too wish it was still on thanksgiving

I ordered Wmxx and summerslam this year wm for tradition and summerslam-well i dont knwo why actually just cuz its summerslam I guess, and Ihad a 10 buck off a ppv event coupon from my digital cable company I watched NWO at a friends house I bought backlash 04 on dvd last month, ok show, foley-orton was the best match imo and the main event was not close to being as good as the wm20 one this year was the first year I missed the rumble since 99 (ordered 99-02 and watched 03 with a freind) probably wont buy one until maybe rumble, but these ppv prices are getting out of hand, might as well wait for the dvds since they come out only about a month later and cost up to 20 bucks less depending where you buy them at

of course shawn is a bush guy, hes from texas, and hes a born again christian (whcih is funny considering all of the morally questionable things hes done over his career in wrestling) since wwe has no union, most of them get away with supporting the republicans (even though youd have to think health care is a major issue to wrestlers, especially independent ones)

I think the reason WWF supported bush in 2000 was because Joe Leiberman (gores running mate) was a part of the PTC that was at war with the wwf at the time or at least thats what i thought Yea I remember how lawler kept asking for gore to concede during the recount youd think that vince would be a kerry supporter, considering how under this administartion the FCC is gaining more power and would make no bones about fining mcmahon heavily for some of the questionable content that sometimes appears on raw and sd as for me Im voting for kerry even if he is from Boston although I was considering writing in JBL (jk)

I was at a WWF house show in white plains, NY in june of 93 and they had a pretty good yoko/bret regular match for the wwf title. I was on the edge of my seat, as a young mark who had no thought of hey this aint televised so nothing will happen as for my Bret Fandom I became a wrestling fan by watching survivor series 90. I remember Breat first a a tag wrestler. in 1991 as I became more of a fan, bret was rising to his first ic title . When he beat Mr Perfect at ss91 I was jumping up and down. Breat was my fav wrestler, not because he was an excellent "worker" or had great matches, but because he was a true good guy wrestler who did everything for the fans. It sounds corny but when you are a young mark, thats all that matters, I remember going crazy when I heard on superstars that bret had beaten flair for the wwf title. and I was so nervous for him at wm 9, when I juct couldnt see him beating the monster yokozuna. then they go out and have a pretty good match, and it looks like bret might actually beat him. he lost and I was crushed but somewhat happy that hogan stuck up for him and won the title, though still sad for Bret I remained a Bret fan from then on, but in 95 I stared liking Shawn and Diesel alot more, even rooting for HBK to beat my hero at wm 12-even though It was tough. in 97 he rejuvenated his career with the hart foundation angle and I was thoroughly entertained by all this (although personally I found it offensive that he refused to turn heel in canada- his turn justification was he hated america-hell canadaians would have cheered him no matter what cuz they have tons of national pride) about montreal, I actually side with Vince on this one, though I wish he would have handled it better But I dont think that Bret would have betrayed him and went on nitro with the belt,even if he was mad about leaving at the time, because of his respect for the company that made him a star I last saw Bret live at the WWA ppv in vegas. We need a dvd set STAT

hmmm should i buy it? just shelled 50 for GTA:SA and Im nowhere near being done with it. and I also havent finished simpsons hit and run yet (which I finally got last month) and I have my season on espn nfl 2k5, and in the middle of a season on asb 05, geez I wont have the time to play a wrestling game. well I have been playing on and off this weekend. still havent beaten too many ls missions cuz Im having to much fun running around and causing havoc. I got alot of cash by hustling pool lol I too am stuck on the lifes a beach mission (I freaking hate games that give extra hard misisions-this reminds me of the mission for avery from vc where you had to use the little heli to blow up the construction site or the dildo dodo misison from the studio) btw, does using cheats ruin anything- I mean do you get an extra reward for not using cheat? i freaked out and started a second game save for now, figure I can go back and play the game a second time if I have to. I beat the smoke bike thing in two tries, the first time the other train that came ran over us, second time, I follwed the train all the way over the high rode into the countryside untill smoke blew away the last 2 guys-one guy almost fell off and was holding onto the edge of the train when smoke blasted him robbing uncle sam was tough at first took me a few tries to get used to the forklift. eventually to beat it too, i used the weapons cheat so I had enough ammo to do deal with the soldiers, after unloading a box, i checked for soldiers and if some came near by i did a drive by with the forklift. after loading the truck I had a hard time getting back to the lockup, but didnt get blow up amazingly. also I love how the other guys always make fun of cjs driving skills , cuz I really have had a hard time controlling them (different using the analog, I was so used to the dpad) last mission i completed was sweets girl btw Is there an actual order I should be doing the missions in? I mean to stay close to the story? what is the main misison of LS? or is there any? can I just do them all in any order I want? Man I guess today ill try dancing again lol funny story on one attempt at this I had me homies with me (i recruited a few to protect me) when the dance started and they were just standing around there watching me dance, pretty funny. and OG Locs burger hat is freakin hilarious

well my gamecrazy got in GTA:SA on monday so and in fact most stores here had that game listed as being available wednesday (including best buy) i didnt see the papers yesterday so i dont know about sdvraw

I think the real problem is the constant thought that they need to have good looking woman on wwe tv at least for 5 mins a show. they dont. If anyone is tuning in just to see the divas, then they arent wrestling fans. as contrite as it sounds jim cornette was right "Wrestling fans, watching a wrestling program, want to see wrestlers wrestle" I dont watch wrestling to see girls in skimpy outfits, I could watch something else for that. and since the womens matches in wwe are kept too short and they have a thin talent roster, I think they should do away with the womean division altogther (and what the hell is a diva anyway and what does it have to do with wrestling-why cant they be reffered to as wrestlers?) as for trish, hey she really improved in the ring from his first appearance in 2000 and was over well as the plucky babyface , her heel turn wa sineteresting but made no sense. she was mad at jericho for making a bet , so she became christains girlfriend? the man who beat her up? wtf? and now apparently tehy dont even mention this relationship anymore (i guess they broke up? and if so shouldnt someone have turned face) my main point is, either get serious about the womens division or get rid of it (and fire all of the "divas" trust me they wont be missed much-even by men)

actually I think it would be cool if they went back to all elimination 8 man tags for one year at least. I always loved that concept (since ss 90 was the first ppv I saw) think about it besides those mentioned earlier you can have raw trish/molly/gail/jazz vs lita/victoria/nidia/ummmmm ivory maybe? tajiri/rhyno/hurricane/rosey vs la resistance/coach/ummmm snitsky? sd undertaker/booker t/ holly and gunn (cuz I cant think of any more faces on sd that werent already used) vs jbl/heidenreich/dupree and kenzo maybe it is too hard to book an all elimination matches card lol

Of course since this is wwe produced it will be biased like the monday night war dvd. Vince will never admit that other promotions had better ideas and matches than his. Even though you really cant say that ECW was better than WWF cuz financially wise and size wise and even popularity wise it always was. But hey Vince, its cool you outlasted them all, so you should have no problem in sayign that other promotions were very good and had cool things, since in the end you beat them all (mostly by dumb luck and mismanagement of WCW- I think that if vince never got on the attitude b andwagon and wwf didnt exlode in 98 and wound up folding , wcw would have stayed number 1 untill people got bored of it and the politics and crap and wcw would have still died in 2001. and right now we would have had no major national wrestling promotion) Im intrigued by this set, and since I dont have any of those matches on tape save the rvd/lynn one. I can justify a buy. Ill just have to see where its cheapest lol

I remember a classic amatch I had on revenge with DDP(me) vs Raven (cpu) we fought all over the bash at the beach arena. and the match ended with a diamond cutter on the wooden ramp for the 3 count, it looked awesome on replay. another favorite of mine was on wm 2000 where I had edge and christian vs apa. cpu was edge and I was christian. near the end of the epic 30 min match, I threw bradshaw out of the ring. then whipped farroq into the ropes, I did a leapfrog and the cpu edge caught farrooq with a spear right of that for the 3 count. AWESOME. I even taped the replay on my vcr anf still have it to this day cuz it looked so cool I had many great matches on no mercy including great 3 way ladder matches (which were the only way I could get the cpu to try and climb the ladder, I swear they would only knock me off in a one one one match and never climb up) I had a cool cactus jack vs hhh hardcore in royal rumble arena (to recreate the rumble 2000) I went all over the backstage areas (but stupid stephanie had to come with him backstage which is dumb) so I beat up both of them. finally finsihed it in the bar by hitting a piledriver through the pool table. once I had my caw Maven vs Crash Holly in a hc match which was fun. It ended with Maven dropkicking Crash off the announce table and he fell backwards onto a chair on the floor(hitting his head) and I pinned him. It looked great on replay I also loved hitting a top rope ddt onto chairs and/or stop signs cuz of the cool sound effect and replay)

Great season premiere. I see that they are continuing with the making fun of current events things which I love (that is what is great about them putting ep together at the last minute-they can be timely) great satire and it really makes sense. I like how Matt and Trey said "I'f you are not sure about who to vote for-theres no shame in not voting" they are right on that. just like the idotic saying that "if you don't vote you can't complain" to paraphrase George Carlin, "Yes I can cuz I'm not the one who put that idoit in charge" the turd/douche debate had me rotfl Douches comeback was "my oppenent is a turd sandwhich" "arent indians considered offensive too not to peta they dont care about people only animals"

well I didnt get it on monday night. but I did get it tuesday morning (got my dad to pick it up for me he he) and they even gave me a free poster and sticker, I guess for preordering it? I actualy havent played it for too many hours (maybe 6 total- in game stat says 4:30) havent beat too many missions yet. Today I spent time just messing around and doing pimping missions (which was a total surprise to me-I didnt know there was such an option) I think I am not too enamored with it, since I only got vice city about 5 months ago(and gta 3 last sumer) so the gta sereis is fresh in my mind. But this weekend I have nothing to do, so rest assured Ill be getting thru this game. my fav thing so far : the fact that you can go up behind someone with a knife and cut thier throat freakin awesome.(and gross in the same context) to do this for those who dont know, just go up behind someone closely and target them, then press square while armed with you knife i figured out a lot of the cheats by simply trying to use the ones from vc My cj went from cesar hair, to jheri curl (for a laugh) to bald with goatee and without, to cesar with stash and now without, I will grow out his hair to a fro and then maybe some cornrows) he has a lot of tats too, and I have his muscle maxed so he is really ripped. right now I have him with no shirt (since it looks warm out and cj likes to show his tattoos lol) and urban camo pants with white hitop sneaks and a green bandana on his head anyone else been taking photos and saving them? I got some funny ones already (my fav being the cluckin bell worker with his hands up looking like a tool) and actually figured out you can have your homies take a pic of cj too and got a cool one. ill come back later this weekend with full thoughts speaking of which what the hell am I doing online instead of playing this game? goodnight (Jericholic runs off to his ps2)

Yep, today I was at the wal, when I went to the dvd section to pick up the Eddie Guerrero dvd. I also checked the bargain bin to see what was up. I found the new(well rerelease) of best of wrestlemaina 1-9 dvd (and whats up with editing the wwf block logo on the cover I thought they could still use that?) I didn't buy it(why would I? I have all the wms on tape already and already also have the best of wm 1-14 vhs) but I did get a classic wrestling two dvd set. It has two dvds in their own boxes (contained within a cardboard cover thingy) Superstars of Yesteryear feat Curt Henning,Nick Bockwinkle,Lawler,and other mostly awa footage Best of Booker T the early years, feat a collection of singles and 1 tag match with stevie ray apparantly all from his GWF days The sound is mono on both and not too great audio and video for the older stuff especially, but not bad for $5.50 right? I'll check back in when I finish watching them, but right now I'm off to watch the yanks and sox . Later

yea I watched the classic superstars disc and it does indded suck, the best match has the ending cut off and the sound is horrendous, havent watched the booker t one yet yep it aint worth 5.50 but hey its always a hit or miss with cheap videos man i wish I had found the wrestling gold set
