I've never met Melissa, but I know a lot of people who have worked with her.....don't be to surprised if you never see her really make it to either TNA or WWE. I only saw the cheerleader as a valet of the ballard brothers (hockey playing twin brothers "Slapshot" gimmick) in the Socal indies back in the day. Have never seen her wrestle anyhow anyone know why Tony Chimmel and Justin Roberts switched shows out of nowhere?

I guess the use of Vickie is a way of her earning the money that Vince promised to help Eddies family after his death? anyhow I agree, the story seemed to be Kristal and Vickie in cahoots (remember how all this started, Vickie wanted to talk to Kristal in provate about something back in maybe Feb) SO I guess teddy isnt coming back then? and why is he in a coma (conveince much, I mean I guess you could be after a bad heart attack but how likely is that?)

I don't thinkm I even have to say what I think on that subject, but anyhow this sucks for Cena. The guy has busted his ass for two years against basically everyone on the roster, and has pulled off one amazing match after another with a diverse group of opponents (who else besides maybe Shawn could have a **** match with Umaga?) and has dealt with all the pressure and the hating by fans. Maybe a break will be helpful for him. It'll giv ehim time to rest plus freshen him up by being gone for a long while. then when he returns, you can do anything with him, even that long awaited heel turn. If next week he starts doing raps about Kennedy and Orton from his house ala the Brock feud, I will enjoy that much. as for the belt, remember edge just put his logo on the spinner, may be they can do that for everyone, Orton can have a spinning RKO logo. ww'ew advertsing the summerslam dvd as 14.99 on sale this week and it doesnt show a different edition, that must be an fye thing after all. anyhow funny note, we got a new batch of the CC exclusive summerslam 3 pack (2004-2006) and in this one they must have gotten lazy or cheap because they have put the original 04 dvd case in there (if you recall I noted the original sets we got in and I bought one of, they recased 04 in a cover which cut out the pic of orton vs benoit and changed the back to list every match except the main event, but the disc inside was the original disc with that match in and the old insert as well) they still have the little cardboard holder on there that show sthe new cover and match listing though. I nolticed this cuz the new batch was packaged the opposite way with 04 on the top, plus theres an actual sticker on the top of the 04 dvd case saying summerslam 04 (the original sticker I'd say) guess they had a whole lot of extra original dvd sleft and no new ones so said the hell with it. pissed me off cuz I could have had the original real cover, but at leats the disc was fine I guess. funny though cuz the cardboard holder in all except for one of the sets was covering benoits face. not worried about the special summerslam too much cuz I have all that stuff recorded on dvd already (though the tin is cool, plus I was there at the nsg raw/snme so it would be nice to have that stuff in true home video dvd quality I guess)

it seems as if they didnt have a clue what the rules were for the match, the announcers tried to say you had to make your way through all the cages down to the ring and exit the last cage to win (much like the tower of doom at GAB 88) but instead the went outside a cgae and climbed down the scalfolding and wound up in the regular ring down the aisle. what a mess. and yes I own the comercial home video of this. dont forget Luger using a "weighted glove" so sayeth Schiavone

At A UIWA show, during a match a referee ran out tied up and in his boxer shorts (the angle being that the heels tied him up and paid off another ref to cheat for them I guess), they had a manager whose name i cant remember right so I wont attempt it, whose gimmick was wearing a robe with a brab logo on it, an dhis foregin objetc of choice was a BIG GOLDEN CRAB that he would hit people with. the thing looked like it was made of paper mache too. funny stuff.

I picked it up for 15 bucks at Bestbuy the other day. The quality definitely sucks but hey, it's XPW and it was 15 bucks. Then again, this is only based on watching the first and second episodes, maybe production picks up after and the quality is better. I've only been exposed to a handful of XPW matches before this so it's my first time watching the actual tv show. Was every episode just match highlights? Because I was kinda dissapointed with the first episode. It was just clipped beyond belief and badly edited. bets buy has it?damn I need to get there most of the first shows had clipped highlights, but ehy did wind up showing full matches more often, unless this dvd is edited somehow (and how can you call it a season 1 set, the show was on every week there was no season) oh and I did find that nsync XPW TV intro and put it on dvd, weird to see wrestling highlights set to boy band music

Only thing about this that makes me sad is the fact that Brett Harrison is in it, meaning "The Loop" isnt getting a third season after all. Am I the only one who likes that show? (hell I bought the s1 dvd), though I was pissed that in the second season they got rid of the roomates and only kept sully.

in the january 92 show, shawn came out to the ring and they dubbed in his version of "sexy boy", was he using a song at the time? I know this was still prior to sherri managing him so thus no sexy boy song. oh and on the june 03 show they also showed Goldberg squashing Rodney Mack in a "White Boy Challange" remember those?

lmao damn if only Benoit had just killled himself, we may still see his matches , cuz we still get eddie clips despite his detah being loinked to roids and other drugs in his past. maybe no ONS 07 is cuz of benoit too, he was a lumberjack in the Kane-Mark Henry match just watched the global warfare last night, great comentary from heenan as usual, during the steiners-money inc match in Spain the camera work is horrible, the main camera is a zoomed out camera in the crowd, then during the match they go to a crowd shot and stay there for a good 2-3 mins. Heenan rightfully chides the camerawork, saying "the match could have ended but we wouldnt see it and what kind of replay would we have? The Back of the heads of the Ramon family and Lopez family" Even savage agrees with this and picks on the cameramen. in the hart match, BBB has different sounding music then I remember from his 90s heel run, it has the bam bam, but different music (I guess he used something different for awhile and I dont remember it?) and the steiners music they kept playing the full drum solo intro to their song which goes on forever, instead of the usual quick cut. just saw korea this morning, odd show

cade and murdoch were in last years game, how could they be excluded? coulda just kept them in there and just gave cade new tights and shorter hair. sd vs raw 2k8 now with at least 3 fired wrsetlers in the game as of now

off topic a bit, but I must comment on seeing the last TNT episode with Jimmy lip-synching "eat your heart out rick springfield" with both Neidhart and Bret dancing goofily in the background AWESOME that korea show seems to have terrible video, not just other country video problems, but it has lines and lots of interference and the dubbed-in commentary sounds terrible fake

I bought the house season 3 dvd (even thiugh I never di get season2 after guying season 1) just to rewatch last year before the new season starts. the first episdoe of last year is still great, with House distracting Cameron and running away (after saying youre forgetting I can do this now -with his leg not in pain) can't wait for season 3 (Im gonna start the thread soon if no one else does)

yea Ive been getting them too, but Benoit is edited out of old nitros still My CC still has quite a few copies of Backlash, Judgment Day, and One Night Stand (Benoit is a lumberjack in the kane-henry match, his last ppv appearance ever) I'm glad I bought Backlash 04 back in the summer of 04 then oddly enough the summerslam 3 pack I spoke of, the 05 dvd is the same package it originally came in (Since Hogan and HBK are on the cover) but the back still lists the Benoit/Jordan match. weird still since the way it is bundled, you can't even see the 2004 cover so why did they bother? (I guess so they can still sell it at wwe.com individually?)
