Chris Benoit Dead - Toxicology results released
Jericholic82 replied to Human Fly's topic in The WWE Folder
Vince must be thanking God for terrorists and Paris Hilton. He already showed his appreciation of terrorists by allowing a group dressed up as them to beatdown the Undertaker on Smackdown. I wonder if a Diva will now get a Hiltonesque gimmick. A dumb, materilistic blonde? Isnt that the gimmick of most of the wwe ladies? Hell as I have said before they might as well try to hire the real thing , though I guess it would be too pricey. She could make a good heel manager at least. If not for this whole Benoit mess, the Paris gimmick may have already been given, to say Torrie Wilson by this weeks smackdown, as we know WWE now likes to turn current events into angles -

Pillman and Russ Haas (Charlies Brother, they were in the minors at the time of his death in 2001) I was just thinking about it, Benoit is now just the second Horseman to die after Pillman. not exactly a feat anyone would want to accomplish -
Its 2:05 PM EST and I have ate only for breakfast, a cup (not a bowl, but an actual cup) of fruit loops with some 2 percent lowfat milk, and two strawberry pop tarts. man Im hungry but theres like no food in the house and I got to go to work in 3 hours

I gave up soda at the end of 04, becuase one I was on a health kick and trying to lose weight, more importantly soda gave me a lot of gas, diet even worse cuz it gives me stomach cramps sometimes (as does any sugar free product). since then Ill have a soda on a rare ocasion, but it tastes different to me and the gassiness is much more then I remembered it. I drank pretty much all water for 6 months and it helped me in my wieght loss, as I lost about 45 pounds or so between sept 04 and june 05. now Ill drink ice tea, vut I cut back on that at home and drinkmostly water, and arizone green tea when I can get it. eating at fast food places Ill opt for the ice tea or fruit punch when I get a combo meal or something but only have 1 glass of it, restaurants Ill just have the water. I dont really miss soda which is wierd cuz I once thought I couldnt live without it

lunchables were ok as a quick snack but not very tasty, the cheese was passable but the ham was horrifying

Actually the character of Kwang lasted untill about a month or so before his redebut as Savio, he wa sin the 95 rumble match as kwang. The end of kwang came like this- Kwang and Hakushi (dubbed The Shoguns) faced Tag Champs The Smokin Gunns on Superstarts or Challenge. The evil foreigners lost and Hakushi and Shinja blamed Kwang and beat him up. They never mentioned Kwang again and Savio (The Carribean Legend as he was billed) showed up to save Razor Ramon at the First In Your House

I saw Bret and Chyna on Susteran last night. Bret wa slooking old here too geez. But Bret was rather calm and discussed the facts. Chyna of course was all about blasting Vince and WWE altogether. Scarbourough Country had on Marc Mero, Steve Blackman (By phone), and Dave Meltzer, a rathe rbizzare trio to be sure. Marc actuallly looked pretty young here and kinda weird without his goatee or mustache, alsoe kinda looked like he ha dosme work done to his face, but I could be wrong. Marc was very matter of fact and wasnt really blaming Vince, but said there has to be some accounatability on his and other promoters parts for all the health and mental issues and to stop drug use altogether, he even had a list of 25 wrestlers whom he had wrestled that were now dead. He also said he doesnt know if the negative test in April meant anything, because he himself and other had been able to pass tests while on steroids, back when he was in WCW cuz the doctors didnt watch them urinate in the cup, and that they would put visine and stuff in their to mess up the tests. Blackman of course sounded very dull and boring (Al Snow would have slapped him for this) but he just echoed Marcs sentiments, but claimed he never used roids whiile in WWE cuz he had an alergic reaction to a prescribed roid back in 89. The host came off as rather knowledgeable about wrestling and at least did some research, since he annonced Mero as also being known as Johhny B. Badd and called Steve "The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman. Meltzer correctly assumed that the wikipedia thing happened due to someone on a wrestling chat line duringn the ppv claiming that Benoit wa snot there cuz his wife died, and then claming Meltzer said it, which he explained as what everyone says when they start fake rumors online, using his name to add credibility to fake stories. as for Debra? she looked really old and perhaps a bit chunkier than we last saw her. But she legimate concerns, she dealt with Austin and probably Mongos steroid abuse. She said Graham didnt know what it was like on the other side, but he retorted with his wife seeing his roid rage thru the years, but he said he never got crazy enough to want to kill others, just himself. The Londodn thing certainely takes off some of the heat, but the wrestling hater sare loving this opportunity to bash Vince Mcmahon, who you cant blame for everything, as like he said on "Today" only 5 of those premature deaths happened to currently contracted wrestlers. most media types probbaly dont know about WCW and stuff so I can understand that t -
Here's a similar one. Lothar was such a token black guy. now I got the Heathcliff song stuck in my head, havent even thought about that show in years

of course by the way a dvd just came out of the complete Super Marios Bro 3 cartoon that used ot air back in like 90 or so, to go along with the 2 volumes of super mario bros super show that have came out

hard to remember specific, but I do at the moment recall a loud boring chant durin Bossman vs Mideon at Valentines Day Massacre 1999

the wholde dissention of the horseman angle was pretty funy and I have had fun reliving it on 24/7. debra dissing woman behind her back was classic. Sadly I only remember Nancy from her wcw days of 96-97, thats all I got to see of her. I do remember everytime Mean Gene would interview the horseman with woman, she would constantly hit on Gene and tease him, rubbing his head and stuff untill he would kinda freak out. that was kinda funny

Im still having issues with my on demand. I havent been able to watch anything in a week, every time i try to start a video, the box tries to "upgrade" and then shuts off. I have had had 2 visits by cable guys, first time they fixed it, second time i wanted another box cuz I was having trouble, and now its not working again, finally a guy on the phone said, its an error in the system that may take up to a week to fix. Now I missed out on the raw part of mnw 2/3/97 and the ecw episode

well tlc 2 was at wm x7 so it was on the anthology box set in 2005. another note, at least on the ladder dvd set, before the match they hav edited out limp bizkits my way for the "adrenaline rush" song TNA uses, wonder if wwe even realizes that song is linked to TNA? (then again they used to use Lex Lugers song for hotline commericals in 96 and billy kidmans 1st wcw theme for shotgun sat nite)

well I havent posted since during raw so Ill update I guess. The details of this situation have been eating away at me for three days, even at work I couldnt stop thinking about this. this really makes you think about the human race and how is it possible for noraml people to commit such heinous acts. maybe it was depression, steroids unlikely the cause, maybe other drugs or alcohol, you can go on all day about it, but in the end this was a man who with probably a sane mind, ended his familys life, his own, and his legacy . nobody would ever predict this to happe, sure if he just dropped dead one day wed be able to cope with it more. but fact is fact and it is what it is. I will never be able to watch an old match of his without thinking about his last days. just as when watching any match with someone who has passed on, but in this case even more saddening and indeed maddening. Weird that I watched his last match last week with no ideaa this was my last glimpse of him and the last time I would ever be able to think of him as a great man. And even then I wasnt really paying attention to the match, since you had to know he was obviously win. On sunday I was watching the Judgment Day 07 dvd and his match vs MVP, probably around the same time either he was killing himself or sitting there in his house with 2 dead bodies Weird to see how fast WWE has worked in erasing Chris from history. After all they had egg on their face for memoralizing a suspected double murderer, but at the thime they had little info and hoped for the best, as we all did. They have even removed his pictures from the opening video already and even o nthe msg classics show last night, the oepning video which used to have hi mand eddie huggin at wm 20, now shows Eddies entrance at wm 20. that was quick This is going to be tough to shake. -

you know, I hadnt even checked online today for the ppv results due to waiting for the cable guy to come back to fix the problem with my wwe on demand service ironically. then I went to the bathroom as raw starts and then I walk in my room and see vince in the ring, at first I thought this was the angle coming to an end, then he mentions benoit dead, then I see that Nancy and his youngest son are dead as well. dammit this sucks. Oddly, I just Benoit wrestle live last month at a houseshow and which he and batista won a tag match (benoit getting the winning submission) last night I was watching the powerful families dvd and it had recycled cips from benoits dvd talking about him missing owen and it got me choked up. the same reaction when he memoriralized eddie on that raw first one of my early childhood favs dies in sherri, now the first wrestler I truly got into soley based on his style and moves, and a hero to us all, now gone, plus his young son and wife? what is happening? RIP Chris, a real mans man and your wonderful family what else can we say? I hope we find out more info soon I know we said stuff bout tempting fate but come one -
lol My Circuit City sells them so I always see them when I go to work, but I still hate them and refuse to eat them Arizona tea rules, Ive become partial to the green tea over the past few years and infact have a big bottle of it in the fridge right now (it tastes better in the bottle then the 99 cent can IMO) when I read this threa dit remind me of pizzerias and I mentioned it to my sister and how we are both craving them, damn you keebler elves!!!!

I kinda gave up on the game due to being too busy. The last season game I played was in the first series in april vs the red sox. then again I could always sim the last 2 months and pick up in june I guess

yea the ending kinda sucks with the copout ending of old Kevin nonchalantly saying his dad died 2 years later and how he and winnie never stayed together. too bad the whole narrator thing never was revealed as anything. Youd think maybe he was writing a book or talking to a therapist (which was the answer given in an old mad magazine parody I have somewhere) and after that they showed the pilot, weird to see, forgot about Winnies older brother. still an entertaining show "Wayne even said Paul was alergic to his own snot"
-
I do remember that, they would show that and gladiators back to back so you had 3 solid hours of tv to watch on sat. as for other cartoon shows, Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers also ruled ( I just an old ep on diney toon channel as well as reruns of Tale Spin, another great cartoon) and of course Tiny Toons (wheres the dvd?) and Animaniacs
-
maybe they didnt want to give shamrock a ppv payoff? or risk him no showing or holding them for money like Jarrett would do the following month ironically.
-
that would be Taboo Tuesday 2005

havent been able to watch in 2 days cuz of a cable problem, they came and fixed today though. I have the new prime time and ecw this week.

Sensational Sherri passes away
Jericholic82 replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in General Wrestling
yea I saw that on sunday, a day before I heard the news (I hadnt been onlin ein a week so didnt know of her death until the mention on raw) this sucks, Im getting tired of seeing all my childhood heros die way too soon. not to mention that she was the best woman manager EVER and could wrestle better than most men and cut a better promo than almost anyone. she was really easy to hate and got her charges over bigtime, look at what she die for Shawn, sure he had some heat off the rockers split but by pairing her with him, he was able to share her heat. and when she turned face cuz of shawn ignoring her, the crowd bought it ( I know I did) and it made him a even bigger heel. I just saw her on 24/7 yesterday while watching monday night wars and it was hard to look at her. too bad shes gone cuz she could have been a huge help for the current divas as a female agent. RIP Sensational one, you will be missed -
Mr. McMahon "dead" - Now for the "whodunit" angle.
Jericholic82 replied to Downhome's topic in The WWE Folder
ESSA RIOS DID IT!!!!! Come on why not Essa? (sorry couldnt help but use my fav line of the austin run over search when all the wrestlers were in the ring on Smackdow and Kurt Angle blamed ESSA) anyhow, why is he still "presumed dead"? obviously they never mentioned remains being found (which would have been found likely in real life , even if badly charred) the whole thing will end with Vince showing up on RAW one night like nothing happened and theyll just say he faked his death cuz he needed a break and wanted people to feel sorry for him (as he was so sad over losing the ECW title)
