sorry for the multiple posts,But I forgot to mention that i noticed that WWE actually secretly put in chapter breaks for every rumble participant after the first 2. I figured it out when I noticed the champter list on my dvd on screen display said something like 56 chapters on one of the rumble dvds. I checked it out and indeed they did do this. kinda cool I guess, easy way to skip ahead to various points in the rumble matches, this has been on every dvd I have tried out yet (88,99,00,02,03,05)

why did they cut off alternate camera angles for when you are pitching i mean the only choice is the "behind the pitcher" cam used in real life. I was used to playing the last 2 games of the series of the regular batting cam for both pitching and hitting. I guess its more realistic to use that cam for pitching (I used it exclusively in all-star baseball 2005, which I actually liked more than any of the last 3 2k games) but damnit I want another option here. I still havent started a season yet (Hell I have only bothered ot put the game in my ps2 twice and played a few exhibition games) which is bad, cuz Ill fall behind again, but I wanted to fix the rosters to real life, but theres way too many moves to make.

who to induct Lawler? why Bret Hart of course (it wont happen though obviously) Hearing Jericho possibly coming back makes my day, though then I shudder to think how they would missuse him this time. Going to TNA to feud with Christian or team with him makes more sense (and how sweet would it have been if Jericho was Christians "consultant" last month) but whatever (I mean being the first one kicked off Celebrity Duets, despite being the only one on the show who actually had singing experience-though hell never be confused for a great singer-, thats pretty embarassing.) Too bad Bischoffs no longer on TV cuz hes the one that "fired" Chris in the first place so how would you bring back Jericho? Insert fantasy booking henceforth........

going back to music dubs I did watch wm 15 on here last week or so, finkel dubbe dover himself for the opening match ( I think cuz in the original airing he said this match is for the WWF hardcore title, plus in the show vs foley match, where he original said the winner will ref the WWF title match)I checked my tape of the live ppv and yep thats the case. only music dub was Tori's generic song dubbed over by another generic song (bizzare to see generic songs replaced by even more generic songs), plus they cut out the pre match video package of shane vs xpac, and cut very voilently to DX backstage I suppose this was the anthology dvd version. before that I had watched the 3/22/99 RAW and looking back you can see why WWE was more popula rthan and feels so boring now, sure the matches were short, but the show had this feeling of excitement (like nitro in its heyday) and a "anything can happen at any moment" feel that left you wnating to stay tuned in. Plus looking at it now, WWE actually was able to fully book different title divisions, with multiple challengers and feuds that made sense (well except for the weird switching of Road Dogg and Billy Gunn to the others division. now they can care less to book the lower card title divisions this morning I watched the 12/16/96 MNW. Good stuff. Again no themes edited on Nitro (except fo rmaybe Jericho I dont remember that song, but mayb Im wrong I thought he only used the song thats always on ESPN as his first wcw theme, before the switch to the Pearl Jam ripoff.) , hell they even leave in the company logos that sponsored the replays. Fun to see the whole sting saga again. Except for the announcers who never realized that the fake sting wasnt really him (despite the camera cut from the real one coming down to nwo Sting coming out with a different t shirt on and a bat in his hand) or maybe ill let scott keith make the call "Rick Steiner v. Sting. It's the nWo Sting who comes to the ring (easily distinguished by being the one CHEWING GUM), but the real Sting follows him out and takes him down. What, you expected them to deliver on an advertised match? What show have you been watching?" Wow watching this show really makes you want to see starrcade lol The Sullivan-Benoit angle continues to be crazy, although at the time confusing to me cuz I had no idea of the real life marriage of woman and sullivan. RAW was ok, but stupid to see a karate fighters tournament take ovee the ring, (and you mean to tell me they had to script a toy fight?) but it actually had a purpose, that being furthering Goldusts face turn , and his little altercation with Lawler as well("You know you're a.... well arent you?") The Gunns match seemed promising but they blew it with a 3 min match with an injury angle that went nowhere as they never faced each other again and the whole story was dropped right after, and no mention was made when Billy returned, and Bart dissapeared until his return in the new midnight express in 98. Vince defeding Bret saying he wasnt a whiner was funny. seeing the fake razor and diesel is always worth a laugh. Jacobs looks so different then he does now, I guess due to the hair and such, plus much different then when he was Issac Yankem, which is why back then I didnt initially make the connection between the two, untill I saw him up close. (and JR described Diesel, as "25 years old and 6' 8, wow he was so young then, I guess that makes him around 35 or 6 today)

I can see why koko is edited at wm 3 cuz he used a real song. but I figured his 1990 song would be cool. in 90 bossman likely came out to "jive soul bro" cuz he was with slick, which explains the dub. Vince needs to just pony up the cash and buy exclusive rights to all his old songs so he doesnt have to have his guys worry about this and piss off the customers, I guess he just doesnt realize how much something so trivual as entrance music means to us fans

Yea this makes sense IN CASE YOU DIDN'T NOTICE I WAS BEING SARCASTIC this renders all these extra ppvs pointless. I guess I understand changing the ecw ppv to wwe ppv names, cuz every raw and sd ppv is "WWE __________", not Raw Backlash or Smackdown Judgment Day.

Forgot before, 02 also edits Jazz' ist generic rock theme with her second theme with well the jazzy opening. plus Trish's 2nd theme (after the T and A theme) is replaced with the Lil Kim one. If you want to know what themes I mean check smackdown: shut your mouth on ps2, they have these themes on there.

werid when wwe dubs oven genrci music with other generic music huh? and why cant they use jive soul bro? makes no sense, jimmy also wrote shawns theme and they have no problem with it. vince is such a cheap guy I guess as for the wm 3 CE dvd they have edited Kokos theme and dubbed it over with "Piledriver" , and Hillbilly Jims theme with generic country (and they even had to have Finkel dub over announcements here) and yes steamboats as well. plus the post show video package uses aretha singing the national anthem again instead of that other song originally used. thats about it. I dont have the anthology set so I dont know if that differs or not. but its still kind abetter than my "Legacy" vhs version which cuts directly to vince in the ring to start the show cutting the opening titles, and also clips hogans post-match cleebration so you miss Andre leaving. but it has the proper themes so I guess its a tradeoff

I was going to wait for volumes but last tuesday I saw it at work and I had to get it, CC was selling it for 159.99, but with my employee discount it came to 149.99 (well plus tax of course so closer to 160). not bad. The box looks awesome (Although I have noticed that it seems I hav epurchased th eonly copy so far in a week, we had like 4 to begin with and now still 3) Though I have no use for the last volume (since I have 03-07 on dvd already)and If I had known I was going to get the box, I wouldnt have bought the single disc release of 07 already OH WELL. I have only browsed thru some of the dvds so far looking for edits and such. 2000 indeed is weird editingthe opening package to show wcw footage (instead of the original japanese death matches footage which I guess wwe was too cheap to pay for this time around) even weirder is them again dubbing in "Mr Bang Bang" over the WWE cactus jack theme which I thought they owned? i hate the blur a mania era ones cuz they often blur out the wrestlers themselves (notably during angle-tazz at 00 ) but hey the 00 one used here is directly from the orginal dvd since they show all the bonus footage like angle and tazz interviews and HHH getting stitched up man 99 had a great opening video package (the debut of "no chance in hell" song) but again it seems to have that camera zooming issue that first was noticed on the Taker dvd. 02 seems to have the most theme edits so far as I have noticed 1. Tazz (1st wwf theme dubbe dover the cypress hill song which actually debuted at the 02 rumble). 2.Lance Storm (2nd wwf theme dubbed over by his ECW song knockoff used at ONS 2005),3. Taker (rollin dubbed over by some awful generic rock), 4. Maven (TE 1 theme dubbed with even more generic song than takers)5. the show theme which was Kid Rocks "Cocky" dubbed with really generic song (which actually was done in the original dvd release too IIRC) so the pre-rumble package suffers cuz steve austin yelling what makes no sense (and here you cant even hear his voice you just see his mouth move) 04 theme (nothing left to lose) and 05 theme (find the real) which actually were on the original dvd releases are dubbed out as well. but I guess I understand why show themes have been dubbed . Ill give you more as I actually watch the shows.

yea Im no 1, Im speciallllllll. I think this is a first for me, if only it lasts this one day. Ortons likely winning tonight, so Ill take him, lashley will wrestle this week, stick with him. (I should have stuck with umaga last week instead of bob) takers unlikely and maybe batista as well, for sd benoit a nd mvp have to continue thier feud so maybe atag match involving them. kennedys getting a big push again so hes a good choice.

and what about the Dibiase/Blu eBlazer match from SNME? in that match he debuted the million dollar belt, and blazer actually had a prematch promo (which was eerie, because Owen said he would come at Ted from every angle, the top rope the barricades, and the RAFTERS) seeing the blazer always gives me a sick feeling. the match was too short though.

I called it. I knew sanjaya would make it in, to continue the trend of a loser guy who no one seems to like that makes it far in the competion for no real reason. you are right I do smell conspiracy here, they are trying to throw us off-track by making it look like a real vote it happening obviously there has been nothing to show the voting is legit so we can rightly assume its rigged (although if it is rigged why would they let Taylor Hicks win last year?)

yea, and I knew thats what trey an dmatt were getting at? yea they can make them quickly since its all done on computer now, trey and matt even said they dont finalize episodes sometimes untill the night before they air just like when they did "best friends forever" based on the terry schiavo case, and she actually died the next day after it first aired

They were slowly brining him back in, the theory at the time was that after sting won the president title from Flair that sting was going to give it to eric, also he may have also supposed to have been the mysterious "hummer driver" unfortunately for "easy e" he was fired from wcw a month later. 2.Yes I do remember that, very weird.

Flair talks about this in detail in his book, and in the rematch he lost again but Jack gave him the belt back backstage. The people pretty much thought it was all real so of course they would have rioted cool clips though thanx wish there was footage of the rematch cuz flair said he brought Piper with him and piper went in the ring with an american flag and sang the national anthem to piss off the crowd, if that did happen, Piper truly is nuts.
