THanks. I want to get the Wrestlemania Anthology on WWE.com. It was on sale last time because it was out dated. Why isn''t Jake Roberts DVD on that list? yea great sales on wwe.com. they even have the 2005 ppv rewind set on sale with the history of the wwe championship for 89 bucks, or the rewind set only for 79 bucks (good deal thats all the 05 ppvs included, which usually cost 20 or so bucks each) and why does the wm set say 1-22? did they do a new one and add 22? (I remember the original box set came with the bonus of 21 disc) EDIT I THINK IT DOES alot of 2003/04 ppvs are now on sale for 12.98 as well (but s and h makes it mosre costly )

Full Screen, Widescreen or Widescreen?
Jericholic82 replied to Craig Th's topic in Television & Film
I never understodd the letterbox thing as a kid, I was so used to movies being full screen on tv I didnt know. I dont mind the "smaller " bars ws much, but I defin hate the bigger bars one I have noticed at work that we get more ws dvd copie sthan fs and alot of movies dont even come in fs anymore at least not here. too bad customers dont know what widescreen vs fullscreen means though the names pretty much describe the situation. lol -
It was a re-run, probably to re-explain the leg injury since it'll be important in the upcoming episodes. yea it was a rerun, the classic three stories episode from season 1 that introduced his ex wife stacy as a semi-regular character and finally showed what happened to his leg. in fact it wa sthe next to last episode of season 1 does this mean house has already started its xmas time hiatus? CRAP

1000 Reasons why Late Night with Conan O'Brien
Jericholic82 replied to The Mandarin's topic in Television & Film
another random joke that has spanned into a running gag in three days awesome and those fan drawn pics are great I need to make one and send it in or maybe make a crappy manatee costume -
the funk call was by styles and it went something like "3, he did it he did it....do you believe in miracles!" bret at wm 10, i cant reacll oddly, I just remember Lawler screaming "I think hes hit his head!" when yoko fell off the ropes and lawler screamed "No" when bret won Vince at wm 13 when Taker won talking about the fans standing behind him year after year month after month and finally hes won the title (well the 2nd time but you get the idea)and adding "the dark days of the wwf have begun" Jrs reaction to austin losing to kane at KOTR 98, a hushed "no" after the announcement was made of course "Look at this he slams the Giant!" by monsoon and jesses retort "unbelieveable" Bobby Heenan almsot crying at the savage/liz reunion at wm 7 but he responds back by insulting them and when they show a lady crying he says "maybe here shoes are too tight" later on he says "id rather have the win, than a skirt" "Use it use it, waffle him with it, remember that old saying what the hell use the bell!" Heenan at wm 8 during Piper-Hart

oh....boy.... funniest thing I have heard all week. sigged -
Let the guy have a break. sure hes overweight and a bit lazy, but the guy when promoted correctly, can be an effective monster heel. (see his transformation upon switching to sd in late 02) and his ecw run has been handled pretty well IMO. he was very good with placed with guys like sabu and rvd who can bounce off him. plus he had surprisingly good matches with Brock and Angle (though then again look at who he was working with). hes very funny when he neeeds to be and his conan appearances are always great. (hey there you go he can be conans new sidekick, or at leats dress up as the horny manatee) anyhow enjoy your break Mr Wight, just try not to gain 50 pounds whislt sittting around. and oh how we are waiting for hogan vs show (hey good angle here, Show is 1-0 against Hogan in wwe- he pinned Hogan ERRRRR Mr America in Hogans last wwe appearnce before wm 21)

pretty lame reason for a feud, up there with the coffee feud of Jericho and Kane. But Tritters personality is as such to make a crusade about this.
-
he wont get in, but I hope he gets some votes. Brosius wont even get a second look, but he was a huge part of 3 straight world titles (especially in the 98 ws) Goose needs to get in Gwynn and Ripken are no doubters Mark wont get in this year is my gut feeling.

TNA's VKM At Tonight's WWE House Show in Knoxville, TN
Jericholic82 replied to QuestionMan's topic in TNA Wrestling
because the wwe fans at the event now know about them. "Hey! Look..Its Billy Gunn!" *keeps on walking* "Hey Road dog are you here to see your brother work as a ref?" bwahhahahhaha Or say what I said when I saw Kipper outside before a wwf event years back ""you suck billy" or later "you still have a job?" or ask him if he sold his king of the ring crown for food money -
I never beat TMNT in the arcades , but did beat the nes version. I marked like mad when I finally got to beat the simpsons arcade game years after I first played it (maybe in like 1998 I think)

Most forgettable stint in a promotion
Jericholic82 replied to King Kamala's topic in General Wrestling
And in the same vein, Tommy Rogers' brief and uneventful run in WCW in early '00 (During the brief period when Kevin Sullivan was booking). IIRC, he only appeared on WCW Saturday Night. He showed up and won two or three matches against guys like Shark Boy and The Villanos and then on one of the last episodes of Saturday Night before it became a recap show, he had a surprisingly competitve (and decent) match with Lash LeRoux that went a good 8-9 minutes. I thought Tommy was going to pull off the minor upset but Lash eventually beat him. Then that was the last I saw of him in that stint. Speaking of Lash LeRoux, he had two forgettable stints in NWA: TNA, one in 2002, where he basically appeared in the Gauntlet for The Gold match at the first pay per view and second in 2004, where he jobbed a couple of times on Xplosion. I vaugely recall him being in the Gauntlet for the Gold but don't remember his stint in '04 at all. I can't be the only Lash LeRoux mark on this board. For some reason, I've always liked the guy. you're not I always like him too for unkown reasons. I liked it when he used to have a scramble board on the ramp on wcw sat night. I also was excited to find out he was in WCW Mayhem the game (and the on screen life bar actually refers to him as "Ragin' Cajun" . it sucked when he joined the MIA as Corporal Cajun last I heard of him he was drawing pics for PWI (yes its still around) last issue I got of it was last years awards issue(yes they are still doingn the awards) he drew a great pic of eddie guerrero in a tribute . -
2. Thats a good question. I guess he got mad at him? I forget what the exact reason given was (if indeed there was a reason ever given) anyone know?

True, but I think 2GOLD has a good point in that House is even worse without the pills. It's not just the addiction, it's the constant pain he's in. So now you're left with a fascinating dynamic of a doctor who actually can't function WITHOUT being medicated. And I agree about Vitter being an asshole. He's basically fucking up people's lives in order to get House. That's pretty much a vendetta. right on . and its weird to think of a doctor who cant function unless doped up. Vitter is indeed screwing with people just to get at House (by the way what did he do to him? I mean I missed the halloween episode, and only caught the next week with House in jail)

When I was still watching wreslting, I'd often record the broadcast on a DVDRW, and then transfer the 15-30 minutes of the show I was interested in keeping onto a VHS tape. Not the best system, but I actually prefer the picture quality of a VHS in SLP/6 hour record to the picture quality of a DVDR in SLP/6 hour record. I have a cabinet full of VHS tapes which I am planning on going through and figuring out what to discard when I have the free time next summer. Thanks to affordable releases of my favorite shows on DVD, I have already eliminate dozens of VHS tapes from my collection. right, I am planning on getting a dvd recorder, and if I was home to tape the shows I could record it in either the 1 hour or 2 hour mode (depending on legnth) i assuming you can pause a recording to cut the commericials right? but if I was out id have to use the cheaper mode I suppose on RAW and sd I really need to stop taping shows. I did when I didnt have avcr from the begin of this year thru october, but now Ive got one and this bad habit continues. I mean its not like Ill ever watch these tapes, unless something memorable happened on one of em.
