doubt it, vcrs are still popular for home video recording it would seem. and yea I tape all wrestling shows every week (bad habit, as I have amassed a huge collection of vhs tapes), which is fine when im at work and miss them, but a bad clutter causing hobby It's true. My place is just a mess with wrestling tapes. They take a lot of room and I've given up a little on organizing them. i hear you, hell i still have two boxes full of tapes at my frinds back in cali. have wanted to send for them, but havent got around to it, bettre wait till after xmas now even so I have tons of commercial releases in my closet and my dvd collection is reaching up there since I got a job

lol yea the comp and tv section people seem to never be around here so I got many questions form customers needing help there but there is little that I can do, cuz I dont know much about those depts. plus I have been told by my superiors to stay in my dept. usually if Im not on cashier, I just walk around the dept fixing dvds and cds and helping customers who ask me stuff. side note I have had it up to here with people asking me if we have a ps3, lately I have had to fight myself to not laugh in their face. belive it or not due to the poor management and lack of direction I have no idea when we are getting anything, outside of reg. release dates anyhow I usually work the 5-close shifts thurs-sun/or monday (and sundays I work a little more sometimes 12-closing)

no it wasnt actually. When eric was suspended on air by the president of Turner Sports, JJ Dillon was hired as the new commisnoner and he rehired randy IIRC. this took place about 2 months after Bischoff fired him. Then he kinda dissapeared a little later and reappeared when Ric Flair won the president title from bischoff on the last nitro of 98, he rehired randy (and was acting as though randy hadnt been around since being fired by bischoff in jan 97, which wasnt the case) this has always bugged me as a case of WCW blatanly having a huge continuity error. my answer is supported by the fact that I still have my copy of wcw vs nwo world tour for the n64 and on the box you can see rany reffing at uncensored 97 (2 months aftre eric fired him) still the whole firing thing was great for Eric pretending to be moved and saying to Andersons kids "Tell your dad he's still fired!" foley lost the HIAC to HHH in feb 00 and apart from his wm 2000 match stayed out of the ring until wm 20 in 2004 (if his brief appearance in the 04 rumble doesnt count I guess) remember when nash lost a retirement match to Hogan at Road Wild 99 and returned in like sept marc mero lost a loser leaves wwf match in late 98 and has never returned to the wwf/e since and only has a brief TNA stint as Johnny B Badd to his credit in the past 8 years

Did this sale end today? I would hate to have missed out on that price for House season 1. actually the sale on the tv shows lasted thru sat and I was able to pick up the second to last copy of house before I clocked in to work on sat morning. the only friday only sale was the 2.99 dvds.

its funny how we all like house so much we are mad the legal system is coming after him for a legit reason (he did forge signatures after all). still I hate that cop (perhaps not as much as Vogler but still), but if he didnt have that vendetta, youd realize there is a legit concern that a doctor thats all coked up is allowed to practice. anyhow this hsow continues to rule the world (and in watching the seaosn 1 dvd I just bought shows me how far the characters have come in the show-save for House ) "I NEED MY PILLS" has become my new fav pharse of choice.

I forgot bout the ecw ppv when I picked my team, but I did have punk and lashley so good deal. wish I ha dpicked matt along with jeff, they have gotten two tag team wins already this week and if they win at the ppv theyll have had a heck of a week

yea I can see how that happens there. Im usually not on registers much (thats cuz those lazy bastards never trained me but I finally am getting to do it now) and most of the time thos elines take that long cuz people ask dumbass questions and want us to look for stuff when were trying to get people rung up. ps if you ever see me there let me know who you are, youll know me cuz i look like my avatar pic lol

very true, wish I had a copy of attitude for my 64 damn I need to find it. wouldnt it be cool if they did an ultimate wwe game collection disc for ps2/xbox? i mean all of the classic nes/snes/genesis games in one disc, plus maybe war zone and attitude,wm 2000 and no mercy? maybe take 2 discs

I still have a genesis (the second smaller version) but its hard to find games now. I need to pick up this and the sonic mega collection as well (though I do have sonic 2 and sonic and knuckles for my sega)

I got to experience black friday at work for the first time this year (I never shop on that day, and only once did, we went to walmart years ago bu tit wasn ttoo ba dthen) For starters, I worked the closing shift on weds night, so all of us at CC ha dto stya late to make sure the store was ready for friday, I was supposed to get off at 10:30 as per usual, but we stayed untill 1: 30 am, most of it was wasting time since our manager sgave us little or no direction. (and I had to ask, why didnt we fill the dvd sale bins previously in the back then bring them out? it would have saved alot of time), plus we all forgot to clock out before midnight (since our work week ends on weds, and we were clocked in past midnight, thus our hours were not saved so we all had to write down our hours and hope we get paid, and it might take untill the next check not this weeks, so alot of people are upset) anyhow I "lucked out" (if you can call it that) and had to work an 8 am- 11 pm shift (though we closed at 10) others were there at 3:30 or 4 am (and some had to stay all the way to 11:30 pm!). I got there ealry but grabbed a bite in the mall, when I got into the store, it was arm to arm traffic of people in the whole store, I had a hard time finding a computer to clock in with. peopl were waiting on line for like 5 hours at a time (and of course complaining about it to me, since I was given the fun task of patrolling the floors instead of cashiering, thank god) I told most of them hey thats what you get for shopping on BF. we only have 3 registers that work in the movie/music/game section so it took awhile and lot of sales had rebates that needed to print. anyone who got too annoying to me I just directed them to my boss, the store director, or dept manager. I dont get the whole point of all thes epeople there, I mean the sales were even that great to be worth that waiting. (just 2 for 8 movies and 2.99 movies and 20 bucks off gameboys and osme pc stuff and tvs on sale) people were sitting on the floor for gods sake, and I had a hard time getting thru to the aisles and stuff so I had to yell "look out employee coming thu!!!!" I manged to keep my composure though. I was supposed to have a lunch break at 1, but I had to wait cuz the people who came in earlier hadnt all eaten yet (as if they were holding it against me that I cam ein at 8 instea dof 4) finally I said fuck this and took a break when I saw one of my compatriots come back form break. I got the hell out of there (despite our bosses getting some food for us in the lounge , I needed to get the hell out of that store) I went to burge rking and they ha dlines out the door almost. I then read some books at walden, before returning to hell. I managed to take a second, dinner break at 7: 30 (hell Im there that many hours by law Im supposed to get multiple breaks) MY dad called to tell me that my uncle had passed away at like 9 pm, he wanted to come and get me then, but I wa stold by my supervisor that I had to stay untill the store closed at 10 at least (damn heartless management!). I finally got out of there at like 10:45 and some others stayed at 1:30 or 12 what an experience, then I had to come back and work saturday 9-9 and were were busy all day, to the point of selling all of the gameboys in stock and most of the xboxes . I was ringing up most of the day though and then had to deal with complaining costumers about there being only 1 line for 2 registers (as if two seperate lines would really make it faster, and besides Im only going on orders frommanagement). then I had to call the bank for one customer who wanted to use a cc credit card despite never having activated it an dnot telling me that untill I tried to scan it for payment. customers I was supposed to work sunday but they gave me the day off to go to the wake of my uncle and I had the funeral earlier today. Tonight I got to work 4-10:30 (liklely 11 cuz we have to put out the new release stuff for tom, and we close at 10) but I have off tues and weds so I can finally chill man my feet still hurt

that was a great line SIGGED anyhow to topic, I dont want to see any other Oz remake, to me there will be always only 1 movie (though it was much softer ad kid-friendly than the original book)

I'll chime in dude Simpsons: Kinda bleh episode only great parts being homer seeing Burns as an ice cream cone and licking his face, and where Homer first gets dressed in the ice cream uniform AD: Ok episode with some funny lol moments. Rogers steals the show as usual, and the little kid questioning klaus narrative was funny. I suppose Klaus finally gets put into a human body again? The cave guard was hilarious, talking about wheter or not hell get paid and hwen he an dhis girlfriend can move out of this cave FG: Great stewie episode. Brian and Stewie together=gold so this was fun. Peters chick flick was was not that funny but stupid. "she got chick cancer" line made me laugh though. Quagmires interaction with that lady was funny and stewie insulting olivia was of course great. WAH: God, funny episode. Despite everyone except me seemingly on this board immediately hating the show last year when it debuted, I think it has shown some legs and has developed into a nontraditional family sitcom in the vain of MWC but not as over the top and more believable. The Dave character, though flawed, is still very likeable and funny and his interactions with each member of the family and other characters make the show. The quirkiness of Larry also is usually memorable. Daves fights with his daughter are verly relateble and may seem right at home with those of us who have teen-20ish sisters (or daughters I suppose) anyhow tangent over, the show was funny and Achmeds lines about treating women in his country were pretty funny, if not Borat-esque. Lamb Brains anyone? all in all an entertaining night and not a bad way to waste 2 hours

The bastard that is macrovision is going to make it hard to do. well that also depends on the tape you are trying to copy I also still use vhs as my recording media, though I am planning on getting a dvd recorder soon, but its hard to swtich after so many years (but thinking about it, dvd discs are smaller and easier to store then large vhs tapes) anyhow RIP VHS we hardly knew ye
