geez why did mets fans even care about the yanks. lol (yeah I know already, I know alot of mets fans) I try not too, but I hope the mets do well as they are a NY team, plus a subway world series is somewhat possible anyhow what a sucky weekend for me(guess the A's have our number this year), but at least theyre only a game out after this whole mess. having EVERYONE get injured makes for a weird season. but at least its not as bad as this time last year. then again we cant care too much. It's not like any of these players pay our rent (Bronx Tale reference-youll get it if you saw it enough)

really? no wonde rth epackaging show sthe new names. how did they fake the commentary? is it still tenay and west?

They call you up and if you choose to become a family they come and install a cable box like instrument on the back of your TV/cable hook up to monitor what you watch. In our situation, since we moved we no longer filled the family requirement in that particular neighborhood, but they gave us the option to continue being a part of their stats by filling everything out by hand. We declined, and that was that. they dont send a report of what you watched to you do they? it would be pretty funny if some parents agot one showing their kid watching soft-core porn on hbo and cinemax or something lol anyhow I never have been called, but we did once do a "Radio" survey. it came in the mail with 2 bucks for each person attached as an enticement (LMAO) we did it, but I didnt really care/

wasnt it Stacy Keibler? anyhow I have the match on tape, and its not as bad as youd htink. The problem is, aside form the lame roster they got, the WWF had been training its fans for years to think WCW sucked and was nothing, so why would they like it?

The best performances of this decade
Jericholic82 replied to Lord of The Curry's topic in Television & Film
agreed (odd to think Spike would become one of the most loved, but yea he was), along with Alexis D. as Wesley(his transformation from geeky happy go lucky guy, to dark, disturbed sad Wes after the connor thing was a thing to behold Id say, plus his performance in the last season was excellent) along with Laurie as Dr House(my fav show right now). sopranos actors mentioned too, but I would pick Tony Sirrico (sp?) as Paulie on Sopranos for my personal fav of that show. and Junior too. These two lighten up every scene by just opening their mouths. Yknow I have always wanted to watch entourage by never really have, and I have HBO too. in that channels vein, a shout out to Larry David for his performance on Curb Your Ethusiasm, which is a surprisngly funyn and enjoyable show. -
The best generation to be a wrestling fan?
Jericholic82 replied to NoCalMike's topic in The WWE Folder
It was easy when TNT showed a replay of Nitro at 12AM yea but that was tough when I was still in school and had to get up at 6 AM. when nitro was first on, tnt had no seperate west/east coast feed and that meant I could watch Nitro live at 5 or 6 pm PST then raw tape-delayed at 9 of course TNT got seperate feeds abruptly during the summer of 98 (I speculated at the time that WCW wanted to have the ratings war on the west too) that sucked. -
You do realise that they used the remix at WWE/ECW, right? I'm not sure exactly what you mean. My point is they took his old theme, cut out the "du du" and pasted it together. They could have redone it so that it flowed better. I noticed thta on the special last week. Actually the ecw fans wouldnt chant you suck. I gues sthats for when they do the live ecw show at the sd tapings (which will have alot of wwe fans obviously) I didnt see the show, is it any good? Ill pick up the dvd probably though. just heard ECW is having a show my way in August (8/13 at Westchester County Center in White Plains) tix on sale this coming sat. I guess Ill be going.

The best generation to be a wrestling fan?

gotta agree on the malenko/jericho feud, it ruled mighty and it made me excited to watch Nitro every week. -
Yea, it scares me too. Actually the sting-steiner match wasnt as bad as I would have thought, and the fans were into that match. The joe/steiner match has so much heat with the live crowd and is so well built, that I am even pumped for the match (though I wont order the ppv since im broke). Killings seems to be the odd man out in KOTM. After the 3lk breakup, he has been thrust back into the ME level with no buildup. In the match he has no real issue with any of the other guys. while sting has issues with jarrett, Christian with abyss and jarrett, jarrett with christian and sting.

The best generation to be a wrestling fan?

I am 23 right now. I got into wrestling at the age of about 7. My dad made me watch survivor series 90 with him and I became hooked (though my dad is a casual fan at best) wrestling was cool with all the kids at school back then when I was living in NY originally. hell we wrestled each other on the playground at lunchtime. even when I moved to cali most of my schoolmates loved wrestling and this was just before the attitude/nwo era. I have at heory that pro wrestling is always popular in middle-class/blue collar to poor areas. anyhow I came in a huge warrior fan and then became a big Bret mark until 95 when HBK became my favorite (though Bret is always my sentimental favorite). Though I also loved wcw in the mid 90s for whatever reason (Sting Barry Windham, Steamboat, Cactus Jack were my favs then) I got to see the mid 90s dropoff and the late 90s blastoff and ecws arrival to the day when wcw died and the brand extension era. It has been cool to live thru all of that. But it's haerd to beat the days when I had no idea what would happen and cared nothing about backstage politics and such. watching old stuff now is like a link to my youth and it brings a chill to my spine everytime wrestlemania rolls around. -
Revenge can be hacked, too, as can most wrestling games. See, mine has Blitzkrieg! I actually did make that texture, as evidenced by its shittiness. I am teh haxx0rz! how do you hack that? a gameshark?

Rumors are Simon Dean and JBL. EDIT:...they took "Heavyweight" out of World Championship. I noticed that on the wwe vs ecw show, whats the deal? man I missed the tenta graphic, which is why I had no idea untill I went online. sad anyhow sd was better than raw for sure. kendrick vs crazy was awesome and had a great finish (even though crazy just ripped off Burhcills finisher) but khali coming out ruined it (btw I thought it was Daivari who yelled behind you?). they did mention during that match that the mexicools will face the fbi (I guess guido and mamluke) at ONS, so I guess Pyschosis will turn on crazy on sunday? and in pointless news, Ashley got a (horrible) new theme, Michelle is now using Torries heel theme since Kristal took her old one in her absense. and apprantly Jillian likes to get half-naked now thats shes a face. and how will they explain ecw being at the sd tapings, I mean its gonna be obvious with the set and all.

He was your basic Terry Gordy not executioner... he meant could he wrestle like himself still I think. Actually he ecw stint was just prior to his wwf stint as executioner (summer of 96-octoberish 96) he was aface and they even brought in williams to tag with him. the eliminators beat them n one match I have seen.

cool shirts, but the bulldog one is of him with short hair, I want the cornrows dammit the perfect one is kinda like his old video screen logo

I was convinced it was Sid, since he had recently dissapeared from the WWF (of course he would return like a week after BATB when Warrior got canned). I couldnt see the ppv, so I was so on edge waiitng for nitro to come on at 5 oclock (I was in cali at the time and TNT still aired it live on the west at the time), and right before I was looking at my PWI almanac (the first ever one btw) and saw a pic of hogan and I htought quickly "Imagine if it was him?" but didnt think much of it till the show came on, needless to say I was pissed, even though I was about to go to high school at the time so not so little

just found out by checking wrestlecrap. havent been online in 3 days so I had no idea. Thats sad to hear. I had been pulling for him. His brave fight agaisnt cancer was really inspiring yknow. as a kid I first was afraid of him and what he could do to my favorites, but I remember being pumped when the Disasters turned face as I just knew they would destroy Money Inc. I too vividly remember the sumo match on raw, as well as WM 10 when it was so shocking to see the previously unchallenged Adam Bomb go down like that. I also enjoyed the wcw feud vs Rogers when he claimed he was a man not a fish. I felt so bad when half his head got shaved. That silver dolars on a pole match vs rogers at Bash At The Beach has always been a favorite guilty pleasure of mine. and it was cool to see his comeback in the wwf as Golga, even with the silly gimmick, they got it over. And it was awesome at the gimmick battle royal to hear that music one more time and The Quake walk that aisle. He will be missed condolences to the Tenta family Maybe now He'll finally get his rematch with Yoko in the great arena in the sky RIP John

Tonight it starts. About time too. I really got into this show the last 2 seasons and have gone back and rewatched it all. Can't wait to see what happens, but I am sure it will be cool. So, who dies first?

if you listened closely you could hear lillian crying in pain as she laid on the floor. wait, Harry smith ran out there? how did I miss that. murdoch and cade are back together, well at least that makes better sense then splitting them. but why did cade dye his hair black? he looks like Devon Storm/Crowbar now.

Flipping Out On Someone After A Traffic Accident
Jericholic82 replied to Chazz's topic in General Chat
thats awesome, sad, but awesome too this past friday I was in my cousins mini-van/suv whatveer you call it. so was my mom and my cousins 2 daughthers, were at the walgreens parking lot and when we go to leave, my cousin goes to back out, 2 chicks in a blue car parked behind us, back up without warning and slighlty bump our car. so they all get out and the 2 girls are mad at my cousin, claiming they beeped like 10 times (when they didn't obviously). one of them says "well you just dont know how to drive" my cousin replies that she does know how to drive and had a good view since the car is higher in the air. she offers to call the police and the 2 girls are resistsant and are all like theres no damage so the police wont care. so they pull off and come back around and are kinda glaring at our car,. my guess is they had no insurance. -
I do. Strictly wrestling though. (And being able to watch one thing somewhere, and record another when seasons decide to show shows I like at the same time, ex: Smallville/OC) I definitely use my VHS more then my DVD player, but losing 'real' VHs will be no loss, because I said, most of the tapes I have are ones I taped myself. Not movies. I've got just about every RAW since 2001, and I still continue to tape each week, and every SD from then to sometime in 2005. They're fun to pull out on those days I just want to watch some older wrestling, or when there just isn't jackshit on tv. yea I taped almost ever raw and sd since the end of 2001 thru early this year. I stopped only cuz of the move to NY and now I dont have a vcr so. actually I still have 2 boxes of vhs tapes still there I need to get shipped from my friends house. anyhow I love used vhs sales, usually you can find old wrestling titles for cheap. And I have gotten some decent quality ones too, as well as slightly jacked up tapes. I bought a used of surseries 90 (first ppv I ever watched so it was nostalgic for me) once, and it got stuck in my vcr and there it went after only 1 viewing. wish I was near a store like that now, even if I dont have a vcr currently.
