Great show this past week. Gotta love all the symbolism of Tony not wanting to drop his briefcase (representing his lifestlye? sins? death) and seeing his cousin (and what appeared tobe his mom turning her back to him at the door)Paulie was awesome as usual. I really want to see a comedic spinoff with him . powerful stuff

iI don't know if I would call it dated, considering it has only been around since the summer of 04. actually this is the second edit of the theme, the previous version was slightly different than the original (which was featured in full on the themeaddict cd) actually this new one is not an edit, but I think it has been rerecorded or something (I know drowning pool did the old one, Id only assume it was them again) I liked the old one much better thna the raw theme, which is getting old since it has been used since th ebrand extension started in 2002 (while sd has used 3 different songs beautiful people, the one that was in SD:HCTP, - with 3 edits in the last one) i

Why'd they change Randy Ortan's new theme back to his old one?
Jericholic82 replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
they did that for no mercy 05 with a song called "no mercy" playing. -
Hey it's 4 years for me too, I joined in Feb 02 for the big grand opening (I had been on the ez board one and rantslyvania for awhile before that but didnt post much) At first I did all my posting at College, cuz I didn't have a PC at my house ( I still had damn webtv at the time and it took too long to post). Damn I had a big gap from 03-04 cuz I stopped going to college in 03 and didnt get a pc until march of 04. then I was only at 300-some odd posts. long time, wow. Anyone here used to post at the Rant Crew at rantsylvania way back when? I did a few times. (I still have a printed copy of my review of an XPW live event in 2000)

Best part of the game so far, one of the guys you have to bribe (at the restaurant where Michael kills Solozzo) was named 'Tito Santana'. Poor Tito, even has to job for money in a videogame

I see your point, and I am shocked that you don't get complaints from those Parent groups. Personally I don't care but I see why someone might.

He held it a hell of a lot better than this in the 90s. well he is in his 40s now so,,,but Tatanka has also impressed me. Of course I used to like him back in the day when I was a young mark so that may bear on my mind anyhow a damn good SD show with an awesome Finlay-Rey match that caught me off guard by getting 15 mins and a criminally short Regal-Benoit bout that was as stiff as any match you'll see. even the battle royal was entertaining. the angle-henry match was ok, just a setup for the end. good angle development, as Orton has outsmarted both of his wm foes. and what was up with the new edit sd theme? that sucked!

Let's Create Terrible Gimmicks for WWE!

they did do it sort of for Dean Malenko during his "ladies man" era (after the radicalz split for the first time, he joined the godfather and became a face for a few months beofre reforming the radicals in ocotber) He wasn't a secret agent, but the announcers made him out to be Bondesque due to his ways with the ladies, even giving him a Bond-ripoff theme as for a real SA gimick? I say give it to Stevie Richards, he'd make it fun at least. as for the Vince pee loving club? give him Dave Chappelle's "Piss on you" as new theme music and it would rule then again I always thought it would be funny to create a stable of European wrestlers and call them "The Euro-nation" -

I bet Mercy Drive doesn't even like the song.. And of all things, they re-edited the Smackdown theme...wtf? Now it sounds stupid. and a double of all things..its Randy Orton! yea the new sd theme sucks major ass! change it back you fools! -
I'm shocked there is no thread for the game yet. I'm gonna try and rent it soon

Prestige? a fake title in a fake sport? how you make me laugh anyhow Adam should watch his back, epscially now that you know who has "discovered " the net

Mickie James theme I like for some reason(is it a ripoff to "hey mickey" or is it just me?) Torrie's new one is awful. I like ortons "burn in my light" the lyrics may not make sense, but it has a good tempo to it I guess. What is up with MNM's theme? what is that supposed to be? I liked Eddy's heel lie cheat and steal theme from last year(though the phone ring at the begin made no sense), the new rap one he had for like a month sucked, then he went back to the face I lie, I cheta, I steal one before he died. Kid Kash is using an instrumental ripoff of Bawitaba (better then his TNA "WALK" rip off) I like it. Angle now has the looped and longer begin part (so he can start poniitng and saying u suck along with the crowd) -

I'm still waiting for someone to be the GTA 3 guy(aka Claude). Obviously they couldn't use the name but just have a guy dressed like him who never talks. -
prob with Jackie (and gail kim to a lesser extent) is that TNA brought her in simply cuz she used to be in WWE. nothing more, nothing less. I HATE when TNA brings in a random former wwe midcrder and Tenay acts like Jesus Himself has just appeared in the ring.

AMERICAN IDOl-SEASON 5: THE THREAD
Jericholic82 replied to Jericholic82's topic in Television & Film
yea probably. hell, Idol will never be predictable when not everyone votes the same amounts every week due to busy signals and such. perhaps you should only get one vote and have to register for it like a real election. -
funyn right after I posted before the ep aired I htought "wouldn't it be funny if they just splice din Chef's voice?" anyway I enjoyed it very much and thought it a fitting end to the Chef character (despite the goofy nature of the episode ) The SAC guy's threats to call security and be escorted out in front of everybody to laugh, was kind of funny "Now that you know our secrets, I'm going to have to ask you to leave" "Im gonna MAKE LOVE....to..the children

What was the biggest crowd pop EVER?
Jericholic82 replied to JimmyHendricks's topic in General Wrestling
Agreed on all mentions. I have to add Kane tombstonign Pete Rose at wm 14, rose got a decent repsect ovation coming out and then proceeded to rip into Boston, turning him into the biggest heel, then Kane comes out and attacks him to a thunderous pop. Same night Sable's first match(the mixed tag with marc mero vs goldust and luna), everything she did got wild pops and especially the ending. Kurt Angle's entrance into the 2004 Rumble Match. Rocks entrance into the 2000 Rumble for that matter. Angles entrance at Invasion got a surprisingly large pop. and his the summerslam match with austin had massive heat and the pop for his title win in front of his hometown crowd in Pittsburgh (remember it was just under weeks after 9/11 and Angle as the so called americna hero was getting more cheers than ever) Eddy wins the wwe title WM 10 for Brets title win and a close second, Mr Perfect entrance as guest ref got a large pop -

I thought he was one of the worst but that probably has to do with my distaste for massive runs in the middle of songs. I understand that. But I think El has one of the best voices so that sometimes wins me over more than performace. on performance, Chris and Kat took that and some of those audience signs were so lame, they have to be plants, half the time it seems as if the audience is given signals to boo and cheer. -
Yea I love the wedding singer and own the dvd. Alexis steals the show in that movie a lot. Especially when he busts on a trombone during the bar mitzvah, that always gets a laugh from me for some reason. SL was ok this week. But surprised no one mentioned the dude with the apparant huge poop stain on his underwear during the last guy competiiton. Maven seems like a fun guy actually. and You have to give him props for wearing his wrestling trunks . Mrs brady as the resident therapist is actually pretty interesting, coming off of her appearance on My Fair Brady. man why do I keep watching these se crappy vh1 reality shows? and for once I know who everyone on the show is (well save for andrea) sherman stole the show with his grumpy ways (gotta love him refusing to share his room) and he busted out the weezy line right away. Tawny explaining g who he was to andrea and trying to sing the Jeffersons song was pretty funny to me and lmao at Alexis giving Andrea one last shot at him before he gets the operation "Ive been told I have a fairly large penis")
