Why would they cut a match not involving Benoit? Anyhow this show pretty much sucked, and could they have a wei rder title win then Ramon's? That finish looked off.

Benoit-Angle Unforgiven 02, The Royal Rumble match 08, Joe-Angle Lockdown 08, Jack Evans-Teddy Hart from a PWS show in my hometown this past March. I recently went to a houeshow in White Plains and saw a pretty good Edge-Jeff Hardy no DQ match.

While the Hennig angle was predictable, it was still a good emotional way to start a feud, but it never led to anything and it helped to kill WCW in those Horsemen towns. Plus, as Flair stated in his book, Hennig gave the robe to Hogan, which technically transfered the heat onto Hogan and off where it should have been-on Hennig. And thus Hennig basically became a mid-card afterthought in WCW, unless you count the Rap vs Country feud as a major angle.

I didn't get the "botch" of that part. I think that was from February of 1997 when Macho Man joined Sting in the rafters for a few weeks, then Savage said Fuck it and went NWO.... actually I think Savage turned on Piper ...ahhhhhhh That was actually from Uncensored 98. Savage and Hogan hadn't been getting along so they had a cage match. Sting showed up to help Savage,but he attacked Sting fo no real reason. This led to the Sting -Savage world title match, and actually was the beginning of the nWo faction split.

I picked up the CE for PS3, since I got a 10 buck discount on it at work. I'm about to play it in a bit, I'll check back in later for my initial thoughts. Damn I need an HDTV. Later.

The 6/4/86 TNT is really fun. First we have a delightfully evil Roberts showing off a bunch of snakes, followed by an interview with team charisma Spivey and Rotundo. Then Savage steals the show ,from his "HULK WHO?" shirt, to his insane speaking ,and yelling at Mean Gene for taking audience questions. The best guest since Paul "How many apartment buildings do you own?" Christy. Watch it and you'll see what I mean.

yea Jerry was the third valiant "brother" it was he and Johnny who lost the tag titles to Putski/Tito. I just saw that on 24/7 yesterday.

RIP BM,we'll miss your entertaining film roles, and twisted views. This bums me out. I guess because he had become something of a cultural icon in this era, and it's odd to think I won't see him on TV anymore save for repeats. At work,my supervisor took all his movies and put them on an endcap,with a CCITY REMEMBERS sign. I thought a fitting tribute,plus when a celebritiy dies ,people always want to buy their material.

well since I went to the only US WWA PPV, I was a fan too I guess and I must agree. My addition to this list would be The Patriot in WWF.

actually Luger didnt leave until after the bulldog turn, his last tv appearance being at summerslam. Plus the story goes that the WWF had no idea Luger was leaving until he showed up on the first Nitro,as his contract had expired and they were working on a new one when Bischoff intervened. Also Atlanta was Luger's announced home at the time.

That's a shame. It was one of the best build-up videos EVER made. actually they cut that off the original vhs release in 98, so no surprise to me. Perhaps they just used the original WWFHV VHS master to copy from,as I know it had a weird cut on the opening as well. Does the DVD show exclusive footage of Rock returning to his locker after the ladder match? Remember the Rumble set had a few shows with the home video exclusives,notably 92,99,2000.

The local NEWS12 channel has been covering this like crazy. They even had a camera there when he got out. The more I hear about it, it seems like the restaurant owner instigated this by throwing a glass at Sandman, who was upset they cut him off. Then again the main witness is Albano's daughter. Also of note, the news keeps showing his pic with a WWE logo next to it. Then again how would they know he was released a year ago. And they keep showing what apparently is crappy Youtube footage of his WWECW match with The Zombie. Funny stuff. He is due back in court this Tuesday.

actually I was at that last RAW/SNME Taping at MSG and there was no HEAT taping, just one dark match with DLO Brown VS a jobber.

Dude this happened in my city, that restaurant is like 15 mins from me. This made the local news,which is how I found out. Wish I knew wrestlers were having get togethers by me? I would have went lol . The cool thing is my uncle is a CO at the jail Sandman is being held at.

I gotta say I gotta say I enjoyed the bret v diesel match I didn't remember it being that good though I hadn't seen the show since seeing it live on ppv in 94 All in all thanks to 24/7 for the fun double feature and for giving me a chance to record them on dvd
