Anyanka I think we've found a winner!!!! Imagine Wes yelling at Anya for staring at giles counting money or such nonsense. or anya discovering that god likes bunnies and btw, from now on whenever I get paid, I'm going to do the dance of capitalistic superiority. (that halloween ep from season 6 of buffy rules)
  3. just a quick note, no offense meant. Steamboat returned as the mystery partner for dustin rhodes at a clash of the champions in November 1991 (the same one where sting lost the us t itle to rick rude and the main event saw Lex Luger succesfully defend the WCW title against Rick Steiner) anyways, how about we try Rick and Scott Steiner Steiner Brothers wins 1. Vs Money Inc June 1993 (well actually they won the titles twice in a few days) become one of a select few to capture both the NWA/WCW and WWF tag titles 2. vs Sting and Lex Luger Superbrawl 91 (Haven't seen it but most say it's fantastic) 3. vs Syxx and Scott Hall WCW Nitro 1997 (A rare win for WCW against the nWo and they were ironically managed by Ted Dibiase late of the nWo) losses 1. VS The Quebecers RAW 9/13/93 (Lose their 2nd and final wwf tag titles by DQ in a province of quebec rules match that sees Johnny Polo (Raven) toss a hockey stick in the ring and Scott intercepts it but the ref sees it and dqs them to lose the belts, just a silly way to give the belts to the canadians) 2. Vs The Outsiders Superbrawl 1998 (Lose their final WCW tag titles when Scott turns on Rick to join the nWo and become what he is today) 3. Vs Bobby Eaton and Arn Anderson Superbrawl 1992 (A great match that ends when madusa throws powder in Ricks eyes and he accidentily suplexes the ref and is dqd afterwards, despite the fact that the steiners had the dangerous alliance beat) Defining Moment: Defeating the Freebrids for their first tag titles 11/1/89 Rick Steiner (Singles) wins 1. vs Mike Rotundo, Starrcade 88 (upsets Mike for a killer blowoff to the varsity club angle) 2. vs Scott Steiner Halloween Havoc 98 (finally gets Scott in the ring and his revenge) 3. vs Buff Bagwell Slamboree 1999 (wins wcw tv title when scott steiner interferes, which later that night revealed the fact of rick turning heel and rejoining his brother) losses 1. vs Lex Luger- Clash of the Champions XVII (loses his first high profile shot at the WCW title) 2. vs Mike Rotundo Chi-Town Rumble Feb 1989 (loses TV title back, but intros scott steiner to WCW) 3. vs Booker T WCW Greed 2001 (loses his final WCW title, the US belt to Booker two weeks before wcw closes) Defining Moment: Leaving the Varsity Club and becoming the goofy, lovable babyface we all remember Scott Steiner (Singles) Wins: 1. vs Booker T WCW Mayhem 2000 (wins his only world title in a caged heat match with a straightjacket on a pole or somethin) 2. vs Goldberg Fall Brawl 1999 (one of the few to cleanly beat goldberg, in a surprisingly good match) 3. vs DDP WCW Greed 2001 (Successfully defends wcw title in the main event of the last WCW ppv ever) Losses: 1. vs Booker T on the final nitro (loses his only world title to set up Bookers later invasion of wwf in a quick 5 min match due to an injury on scotts part) 2. vs HHH No Way Out 2003 (after a dq win in a horrible rumble match, scott loses rematch, that is only slightly better, but this was his biggest moment of his WWE tenure) 3. vs Booker T Halloween Havoc 2000 (poised to win his first world title, scott loses it and is dqd for attacking booker too severly) Defining Moment: Attacking Rick while doing the classic steiners pose during a tag title defense against Hall and Nash and joining the nWo Honorable Mention: Going to a draw with Ric Flair for the title at Clash of The Champions XIV and beating Ricky Steamboat for the TV title shortly before leaving WCW in late 1992

Hey what about how angel said in the vegas ep that he used to hang with the rat pack sometime in the 60's Angel quote of the day from somnabulist "Angel: If it ever occurs that... Cordy: Oh, I'll kill you dead" Angel:T hanks"

OAO Thread: The Eddie Guerrero Story

well everyone (ncluding me) was watching Idol last night so that counts for a low rating (though I doubt it'd be much higher) but I did tape and watch it later on. It was quite good, and if it had another half-hour would've been complete. Lots of intersting stories that we haven't heard from eddie yet on. like his ods, car accident, and the fact that he had a baby with someone else while he was seperated from his wife. I'm shocked wwe would let this be shown since it had chavo sr and jr talking and yknow how wwe hates kayfabe being broken lol just kidding. I'm sure this will be the main program on the Eddie dvd (damn and here I thought it would be only matches like Flairs). man you could do a history of Eddy's mullet from watching this. anybody got a video capture card? lol and wow Art Barr's frog splash did actually look like a Frog jumping. Too bad he had to go and kill himself so young with drugs. and after watching this, I sincerely hopes Eddy stays away from drugs and alcohol, cuz if he goes on another bender, we may never see him again. anyways kudos to wwe for a good special and to Eddy for overcoming all this to become the champ (and have to feud with bradshaw but that's besides the point) nice to see they edited Goldberg out of the no way out clips.

    RAW MAGAZINE JUNE 04

Torrie indeed looks old and different in that pic. ah who cares, shes married to kidman now anyways lol. and also an edit, it's not a victoria article it's just some horrible looking pics of her on a motorcycle and junk. the best part is the informer section, where for this month only, his non-union mexican equilvalent (thanks to the simpsons episode a star is burns) El Informero takes over lmao. Well the Benoit article is good, and the stables is ok, if not too short. Also an interesting fantasy warfare of HBK vs Harley Race. Not too bad this month I call it a 7/10. The WMXX poster is pretty cool looking.

    Wanted: RAW 02/09/04

I have that one taped, although I taped it on a crappy mono vcr in slp mode. anyways I think the best place to find it would be bill browns site (endorsed by wrestlecrap in the past), though the url I can't remember. do a google search for the site ps I was smart enough to recently purchase a 4 head hi fi vcr I needed a new one cuz I broke the one in my tv/vcr combo from recording raw and sd all the time, plus watching all my wrestling tapes, and for the past year used my parents crappy one mentioned above. I still tape every raw and sd for reasons unknown to me ( I hardly ever rewatch them). So maybe someday when I have the cash, I can trade with you guys.

Saved By The Bell Questions That You Asked

hey I thought off-centre was great!!! I'll never forget watching the november 4 , 2001 ep. This just so happened to be the night the d-backs beat my yanks (I am on the west coast so the game ended about 8:30ish.) It lifted me up when I was very down. Gave me something to laugh at for 30 mins. anyways my fav character on that was chau (sp) I loved when he burnt the bedroom up and fixed it with posters and he wrote chau rules on the wall. ok, I still have been watching sbtb reruns on tbs. I really wish they would start showinng new class reruns and ones of california dreams, and usa high. all fun shows. I saw Mr Belding (ok mr hastings) in vegas back in 01. the epsn zone at ny,ny hotel was having its grand opening vip party so I hung out by the inside entrance and watched stars come out. One of them was dennis. I totally marked out. luckily i had my camcorder with me and got a shot of him waving to us. wish I woulda talked to him. some kid followed him and got his autograph. i shoulda stole it from him lol so whats the verdict on the dvds of sbtb? worth a buy?

The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread

hey I watched the season 1 ep where angel was turned human briefly. a very good episode, though kinda cheap to be relying on buffy crossovers so early but still good. it was funny when angel started eating food lol a better ep was the next one called hero, where doyle sacrifices his life to save all the other half-demons. a truly tear-jerking moment and maybe one that served to give the angel character some perspective in what it means to be a hero. yesterday I watched the next one, where cordy gets the visions and wes arrives. I loved the part at the end where wes was going to leave as angel was cooking breakfast for cord, he kept on talking and pretending to leave, as clearly he wanted to stay. Then angel invites him to join for eatin and we get a classic line in "did I hear something about toast?" btw although it was a completely cold thing to do, i thought the wbs ending thank you was well done and it had me laughing after the somberness of the ending cordy: so are you still all, yknow grrrrrrrrr? angel: well there is no cure for that and I have come to a conclusion as to what happened after the screen went black at the end. lorne appeared and started singing causing the demons to grab their ears in pain and while they weren't looking, connor showed up and opened a portal to quartoff and sent them packing or not so does anybody have any idea what happened to Lorne? did the sp's send any demons to kill him?

did anyone mention jr,king, and vince? they did most of the ppvs on late 96-late 97 also shawn michaels also did raw for awhile with vince in late 94 i think the first raw team was macho man, bobby heenan, and rob bartlett i think

The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread

man I got to go watch the tape again, I missed some live as the yanks were busy beating the angels (ironic no?) but it was incredible. a bit rushed, but good . and hey I was having trouble sleeping thinking of all the possibilities, not that's a good show. too bad I initially wrote off buffy/angel as lame or dumb. I wish I had been watching for eight years, but there are always re-runs and dvd sets. my fav scene was oddly, the next to last conversation of wes and illyria. He said that he didn't want to be lied to, as he didn't plan to die that night, though he knew one way or the other, he was done. and bringing back the shelter leader anne was gold, cuz her character dates all the way back to like the second season, when she wanted to become a vampire then when she ran into buffy in la at the beginning of season 3, later to show up on angel and btw, what happened to Lorne? do you think any demons went after him, or maybe he was spared since all he did was killy lindsey, who the sps hated anyway? If he was spared, I'd bet he went back to vegas or somethin or opened a new club somewhere in new york, or atlantic city or somethin. nice cliffhanger ending, even if we get no movies or new series.

I'll be 2nd Row at Raw on Monday

how about the old classic, who booked this crap? If I had decided to go to jd the other night, I woulda brung a sign reading "I can't believe I went to a PPV main evented by Bradshaw"

    Lamest reason for a feud

actually bulldog/shawn 96 started over dogs wife diana hart smith accusing hbk of sexually harrassing her during the in your house: good friends, better enemies ppv hey i kinda liked the booker/edge one, if only for booker's practice commercial in front of tajiri and torrie "Hey Japanese peope!!! What's the deal with your nasty hair? Now you may know alot about kung-fu (does karate pose), but you don't know anything about shampoo. Buy new yakamoshi shampoo, it won't make you hair look as good as mine, but hey you gotta start somewhere." as for other lame ones, how about kurt and austin fighting over hugs from vince mcmahon (although the bits and promos that came out of it were hilarious) I loved how Jericho would refer to the "Coffee-Fearing Kane" but it was silly nonetheless. how about al snow and hardcore holly, al got mad at holly, for "killing" his dear head pierre, then al came out on a go-cart to hollys old spark plug theme song

The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread

I fucking *LOVE* that episode! "You were in Virginia?" "That's beside the point!" "Why is Wesley wearing my coat?" Magnus: That's why I hired him. He's a eunuch. Cordy: You slept with her? Angel: A eunuch? Wesley: Things happen... two young people, danger. Virginia: What are you talking about? Magnus: She was a virgin before you got here. Virginia: I was not a virgin. Magnus: What? Wesley: Oh thank goodness. Gunn: I could have told you she wasn't no virgin. Angel: Not a eunuch. Cordy: One day as Angel... one day and he's getting some. Magnus: What, how could you? I kept you away from all men. Angel: The curse isn't even all that clear! Yeah! I saw that part last night on TNT and it had me again rotfl also the other day on tnt they showed the one with the doctor who could detach his body parts. at the end the gang (then just angel, doyle, and cordy) gets paid and cord suggests going out and cashing it right now (daytime) angel retorts with "That's ok, I think I'll just stay here and not burst into flames" the matter of fact way he said it was awesome I'M NOT A EUNUCH!!

    Big Unit throws fit.

while I am a yankee fan I would have trouble accepting randy johnson since I dislike him so much, but then again no one thought roger clemens would fit in NY. and so if Boston gets greedy and signs another big name big money player, its ok cuz at least its not ny again? is that what I'm getting here? NY Haters but also we have no one to trade basically have dismanteld our famr system for quick fixes that haven't fixed anything. I will say that Lieber looked impressive against the angels though But then again im in slimy southern cali so I cant see many yanks games. I might be moving back to ny soon though so at least I have some consilation for leaving my home again.

    Your teams biggest heartbreaking moment

funny how they make fun of yanks fans when we lose but the laker fans get different treatment. seems like it's ok to have a dynasty UNLESS YOU'RE A NY TEAM. Buy hey I'm not gonna hate on anyone, I'll stick to the topic. Hey I am 21 right now, I grew up in the 80s when the yanks sucked often, but I watched games on tv. really got into it in the early 90s when I started going to games and the summer of 93 (when the yanks competed for the al east and it was so hot outside the best thing to do was watch tv all day with the ac on full blast) I moved to ca in 94 not a few days before the strike that broke my heart (so I guess that counts) 95 was weird, as we didnt get full cable at the time, thus missing the first 3 or 4 games of the alds but I do rememeber listening on the radio late at night (well I was on the west coast so not so late for you still there) as leyritz won game 2 with a homer in extra innings. My dad was pumped for game 5 and so was I as we finally got to see a game. I'll never forget the feeling of that first heart break (but It wasn't so big as I had yet to see the yanks win a ws in my lifetime to that point) I remember the sad look on mattingly ( my fav yankee at the time)s face. of course after the 96 ws I was dumb and thought the yanks woulda repeat despite taking only the wildcard. Game 4 , they bring in rivera in the 8th, I popped in a tape to record the ending of the game ( something I like to do) and then alomar goes and ruins it. I still hate him to this day. Game 5 is back in NY thankfully, but we fall behind. The yanks mount a comeback but fall short ( I remember a close play at the plate, but its been so long and I like to block bad memories sometimes) after 98,99,00 I thought they would never lose. as weird as it sounds, the Yanks did keep my spirits up after 9/11. I mean to come back from 02 in the first round, then whip the best team in baseball at the time seattle, and the miracle games 4 and 5 at the stadium. Game 6 I got so mad cuz they got creamed, it was unbelievable (if pettite had matched johnson, I believe we would have pulled it off) game 7 was such a nail biter, I freaked when the dbacks had only a 1-0 lead, then tino ties it, but we leave a runner on. soriano comes up takes it out and I think its over, its mo time (maybe someone else shoulda pitched the eighth, but hey you live and die by your closer) the ninth comes and I pop in a tape again (damn I jinxed again, though I did the same thing for all their 4 previous titles so) my dad somehow had a bad feeling and I felt worse when mark grace singles to lead off. the next guy bunts and I yell throw to second and he does but it goes wild and jeter is seeming hurt by the runner sliding into 2nd. next batter ground to mo who throws out the guy going to third. cmon all we need is a dp. but it was not to be womack ties it up and my dad actually changes the channel then and there cuz he knows its over. I run upstairs in a panic my heart beating fast and having trouble keeping my composure (hey dont laugh) and by the time I turn it on I see arizona. Oddly enough I watched them receive their trophy in a sort of way of closure. My dad was obviously mad and so was my mom, as this travest occured on of all days their wedding annivesary. after losing to the angels in 02 and nearly blowing a gaket (after all I live now in southern cal where a bunch of front running ny haters had their fun) , I kinda accepted that they dont have to win all the time and I can accept it, even after aaron boone and going ahead in the ws and somehow blowing it I got over it (as compared to 01 when I was depressed for weeks-replaying that over and over in my head) the only other thing to comapre to this was giants-niners jan 03 wildcard game enough said needless to say I was less then thrilled at the ending, especially when our false hopes of a interference penalty is lost ( and btw how do you blow a snap that badly?) of course I was mad when the knicks lost but I'm not much of a basketball fan, but I was mad when the lakers swept the nets the only thing in hockey that comes close was the devils losing game 7 to colorado in 01 well I hope you can all see that there are true yankee and ny fans out there and it does affect us. and btw If I told you your team could win for like 3 years in a row you'd be happy dont even try to lie, it's cool

    That Decisive Moment...

I first started watching regulary after survivor series 90. My dad was watching it and told me to watch it with him, cuz it was fun. I did and never looked back. after that I started watching both the wwf and wcw tv shows and had my first live show expereince at an msg house show late 91 (the sat after survivor series 91, 3 days before tuesday in texas, so taker was champ but not on the card ) and the main event was hogan vs flair. My friends and I would talk about it and have matches at lunchtime in the schoolyard (dont worry we didnt hurt each other-often I would play the ref and always turn my back when the heels cheated and such ) I remember crying when I fell asleep watching royal rumble 91 (during the rr match) and waking up the next morning, knowing I'd missed the ending. Now my parents didn't go out of their way to say it wasn't real, but gradually I heard comments about it, but paid no attention. Maybe I knew it was fake, but still thought like a mark (cheered for the good guys hated the bad guys with hardly any exception-though after rumble 92 I kinda thought flair was funny and cool, but I could not actually cheer for a bad guy then). I subscribed to wwf magazine ( and still do to this day as sd mag) and bought pwis and the such as well as wcw mags and beleived everything in them. This continued all the way to my move to the west coast in 94. In 96 I went online for the first time in school. I was blown away by the internet. I didn't read any dirt sheets, I was just looking for theme songs and videos and pic etc By 97 I pretty much knew it was fake but was stubborn to accept it (even though I was in 10th grade by then) and my high school got net access and I discovered online rumor and news sites from a classmate of mine. The first revelation I discovered was that Glen Jacobs (formely issac yankem and fake diesel-even though I didnt even realize that was him) would be portraying Kane (this was in sept a ful month before he debuted.) I didn't do much dirt snooping after this till may 98 when my dad bought a webtv and the rest is history. At the time my fav site was the Internet Wrestling Zone and started to read spoilers and rumors alot, and it kinda ruined it for me. Then In 98 wrestling t shirts started to be sold at almost every store and I kinda overstocked on them as I had not seen any in stores since 91ish. I had a whole bunch and wore them often to school, but wrestling was cool then so it was ok, thought one guy kinda goofed on me(now I see his point lol) To this day, I still go online and read it all, but I still watch, maybe its a force of habit or a hobby. I don't enjoy wrestling as much now, only if the match is so great it gets me into it (like recently the wm xx main event) or a good storyline is played out. But yet I continue to watch and buy dvds and games and subscribe to both raw and sd magazine (though now raw has become lame and more of a mark mag than it used to be) I have the most fun when I go to a live show, but I haven't been to one since unforgiven 02 in la, of course I wanted to go to jd last night but now I realize it was a good thing not to waste my money on that crap lol. geez I'm sorry for being long winded, but I get nostalgic talking about the old days of wrestling.

Jesse at wm 4 during steamboat-valentine I don't think the hammer should try to m atch up hold for hold with steamboat, I think he definately should cheat I was shocked that gorilla din't go off on him for that heenan at wm 8 during bret-piper "use it, use it, waffle him with it, remember the old saying-what the hell, use the bell" lawler at wm 10 about little richard -was that his real voice or was his underwear too tight? king at wm 11 For those of you who dont know, football is a game in which 11 men spend several hours trying to move a small object 100 yards, it just like the post office I know stus watching with his orthopedic tuxedo -wm 10 during owen-bret about the harts- I wouldn't beleieve them if their tounges were notorized. man king used to be good before his exit in 01 especially from 93-96ish wm 4 during the islanders/heenan vs koko/bulldogs match jesse: well it looks like heenan is saving himself dont you think gorilla? Gorilla: Yea for the senior prom maybe I also liked wm 8 aftyer lex luger had his promo heenan was mocking goriall behind his back and putting up the rabbit ears lmao

actually owen had that them all the way back to his high energy days with koko b ware in 92 . his first wwf theme (not counting the blazer) was jim neidharts theme after he broke from the hart foundation and formed (briefly) the new foundation with owen, it sounded strangely familiar to greg valentines theme when he finally turned face in 91. (took him that long to get his own theme not counting his rhtymn and blues days) anways here are some of my favs in no real order the rockers, ultimate warriors, earthquake(thump thunmp thump, rolling crash sound), sid justice (91-92 wwf theme) hawaian crush, doink evil, mankind original both eneter and piano exit themes, mankind (99-now) cactus jack "mr bang bang" wcw. stings orignal wcw theme, man called sting, crow sting, and even the metallica one, demolition, LOD , vince russos theme wcw 2000 (iron man ripoff), ddp (nirvana ripoff) kanyons wcw/wwf/e theme. the hollywood blondes, booker t, eddie guerreros (heel wcw, latino heat, i liked los guerreoros lie cheat steal beteter than the current one, and why not his first wcw face theme a song used so much by so many people and tv show in fact my local cable company has uaed it for high schooll football games here for like 8 years, and wtf brian pillmans blondes have more fun for the camp value as well as billy and chucks) too many to think of

    WWF Legend has Cancer

John is a great guy. Look at the way he did an interview on wrestlecrap.com and wrote something in the book. He was not shy in making fun of himself and he always tried hard no matter no silly the gimmick (like shark, where he spent a whole day having his tiger tattoo changed to something resembling a shairk, only to have the gimmick dropped) or even golga. Get well soon John.
