"Another ass-whoopin' for Jeff Jarrett" was my favorite line from DW tonight.
-
I... just... don't... fucking... get it
-
Yeah, redundant is another word that fits.
-
Triple H return coming? Evolution 2.0?
-
Match order is making Punk cashing in MITB more likely.
-
wow @ Morrison.
-
Ah, touche.
-
This sounds cool. I was reading something earlier that showed an early advertisement for Extreme Rules with Hardy defending the WWE championship... really hope that isn't a true spoiler.
-
^^^ If that's the case someone better get Umaga a mouthpiece to negotiate this stipulation match. I feel like this match with Punk's only purpose was to re-introduce Umaga in a bigger way than just having him squash local jobbers on SmackDown. Also, if anyone finds a good stream, please post it. edit- Or, if that isn't kosher anymore with WWE apparently cracking down on them you can PM it to me.

Also, not defending Clemens or anything, but I think a position player who is one of the better hitters of all time and protects the entire lineup day after day has a bit more of an impact than a starting pitcher who pitches once every 4-5 days.

Red Sox fans really might be the scum of the universe.

I think it's really funny how Jericho and Punk are drafted and SmackDown instantly becomes the better show.
-
My picks: Orton - as you said Batista went over him at Armageddon. Edge - Hardy has pointed out Edge wins a title at a PPV then loses it at the next, so I assume Edge goes over then loses the title to Punk later in the night. Christian - Christian has been very good as the cocky face. Big Show - Cena is supposed to take time off soon to film a movie, so I look for Show's push to continue. Jericho - Jericho will go over using a chair that the ref doesn't see this time and the feud will continue for a bit. Punk - Hometown PPV, so he will have a big night. Morrison - IMO his face push has to continue with a win.
-
I thought it was a very good show, save for the Madison Rayne vs. Awesome Kong thing.
-
Loved the finish to the 6man, oh, and DiBiase is a future star.
-
Agree. Match, much like the entire show, was better than expected.
-
I think a Foley heel turn then have him drop the belt to Kurt would be logical. Foley and Jarrett in a program where Foley is MEM and Jarrett is with the Frontline/TNA. Could be like two members of "TNA Management" facing off to give one side or the other the upper-hand.
-
This match is good for the Nostalgia and such, but to say I'm not expecting much is an understatement.
-
TNA exceeded my expectations in this PPV.
-
Yeah, I was reading Taz's first response since departing WWE (I think it was on his facebook page or something) and he implicitly stated that he wouldn't be working anymore messages. At the end of the message I felt there was a certain allusion to him coming to TNA when he said something about making a big "impact". edit - OMG Bobby Lashley. Nice curveball TNA.
-
Taz with Joe?
-
Well booked match so far as probably the 4 best workers entered first.
-
looked like Angelina was legitimately injured there.

Yeah, I was lurking a couple weeks ago and some poster mentioned that Royal Rumble was the only one that's been remotely close to WM25 in terms of being stopped on Justin. I'd assume that means it's usually pretty easy to watch WWE's other PPV's. TNA should be fairly easy as well, but thanks for the reply.

Sorry guys, newb question (cool forum btw): Do the streams on justin.tv of TNA PPV's get shut down like they do for WWE PPV's (might not be the norm for WWE PPV's either, but it was for WM25)?
