The thing that I don't get about the Cards is actually what I don't get about Denny Green ... he started 3 in the last 2 months of last year & is starting a 4th to start this season ... yet has passed over a handful of QBs that are all better than what he's had to work with. And this is a guy that had HOW many QBs in Minnesota? Off the top of my head, Salisbury, Moon, George, Cunningham, Gannon, Culpepper ... and I'm sure I'm missing a few. It's like he has a "we need a QB" fetish.

^ Send 'em to Asia to feed the poor. ('em == the unwanted dogs, not PETA. Although I'd have no issue with using them to feed the poor, either)

CC, she only posed nekkid one time. That's only one time more than you have. It's not like she's been nekkid a bunch of times. /got nothing.

As a former surfer, I can fully say that we knew that it was a potential risk. Rarely do you hear of a surfer getting attacked and then crying for the wah-mbulance. Yet a swimmer gets attacked and all of a sudden their looking for a lawyer to sue the shark. Or the beach. Or someone.

Of all the real injustices in the world, why does PETA waste their time & energy on a rich woman's dog? Why not spend that time on dealing with their internal employees that were illegally dumping animal carcasses. Better yet, why doesn't PETA just go away?

smh, I like how you say Max is wrong for having a different opinion. And by "like" I mean "scoff at". Until Forsberg can prove that he's physically able to play an entire season he won't be the best in the league in my eyes. I wouldn't take him to build a team around, even in a fantasy league. The only really questionable choice that Max made was Crosby, and that's just because he hasn't proven it in the NHL yet. Having said that, though, if MOC gets hit by a bus and the B's hired me to be the GM, I'd rather build a team around Crosby than Forsberg. It's hard to help a team win when you're wearing a suit up in the press box, too injured to play. And for the goalies, while I agree that Raycroft's only played one year, he had a better year statistically than Khabibulin, had a year MUCH better than Khabibulin's rookie season, and had a year that was comparable to any one of Khabibulin's. Is there a chance that he could be a one year wonder? Yes, of course. But is it likely that he's not? Yes, even more so. EDIT: Stupid work made me leave this post un-posted until Max had already responded to smh ... now I look dumb.

The only reason(s) that I dug the Snitsky segment is Maria, and what she was (or wasn't) wearing.

The only reason I agree, Max, is because of the $$$. Joe's contract is going to hurt the B's unless the cap is raised in the next year or so. Now, if you'd said Samsonov, Gill & Axelsson for Heatley, I'd have taken it in a second (and, obviously, I know that Atlanta would never make that trade in a million years ... it's just me trying to get rid of my two least favorite Bruins and also get something in exchange for Sergei, who's good as gone at the end of the year.) che, I have to jump on the bandwagon and agree that you're crazy for calling it generally agreed that Forsberg & Khabibulin are the best ... Khabibulin is great but there's a handful of goalies that I'd choose to build around before him, and Forsberg's better known for his injuries than his greatness at this point. Hogan Made Wrestling, your repeated claims that nationality is blinding people is kind of off in a thread that has more than a few Americans. Neither are from my country and I'd still take Heatley over Hossa 7 days a week.

I'm thinking that the women have to - contractually - appear in all those diva videos and magazines ... which alone probably pays for their salaries. Plus, their names are mentioned each time they do a house show so they most likely think that the divas draw fans in to the house shows, too. If the divas weren't a moneymaker, Vince wouldn't keep them around. It's not like it was a few years ago where he ran endless angles about him sleeping with them.

real life friends can't play feud on a scripted television show? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I interpreted the post in the other way ... maybe the fact that OJ & JBL are friends would save Jordan's job, rather than them just jobbing him out in an embarrassing way and then firing him (a la Maven). All it will take is a few weeks of Guerrero looking like a bad-ass and holding his own against Batista and a lot of people will forget about him losing the Mysterio feud so convincingly. Smarks will remember, but most marks and casual fans don't really think that far back, I don't think.

As a Bruins fan, that's a major sucks donut ... none of the other NE teams had really improved this off-season until now. Goblin, I'm pretty sure they moved Hossa to be able to keep both Redden & Chara, so it's unlikely that either of them will be moved. Bob, you're so going to hell for a joke like that. Luckily, there's going to be a lot of us there, so we can all still message board together.

Probably because there's more Walmarts than just about any other CD-selling store. If the stats were kept by "CD sold per store" I doubt that Walmart would finish first. But since there's so fucking many of them, they can sell less per store and still sell a ton of discs. EDIT: I miss Bar Trivia. I haven't done it since the spring ... maybe this Sunday I'll head into the city and play.

You spelled 'admire' wrong.

Repeatedly. ESPN could realize their goal of not showing live sports at all, and just have "experts" talking about sports 24/7.

You want hot women? Order the fuckin Spice Channel. I want mother fucking wrestling. Oh eyah, and comparing Stacy Keibler and Jacky Gayda was a joke, neither one of them are versed in even the basic fundamentals of working a match. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Let me reiterate what I say everytime this 'debate' happens ... not much real wrestling happens anymore, Benjamin/Angle from last night excluded. If given the choice of watching Snitsky's foot fetish, Viscera being a sexual predator, HHH babbling for 20+ minutes, the reliving past glory trio of Flair, Hogan & Michaels, etc ... or watching attractive women feud, give me the attractive women any day of the week. The day that Raw has enough good matches that the diva stuff is in the way I'll change my tune. Until then "mother fucking wrestling" isn't something that I figure I'll be seeing on Monday nights.

I'm surprised that no one else signed Teemu before this, especially since he was willing to sign for only a million. I'd have loved to have seen him in a Bruins uniform.

CD04, do you mean The Dead (as they currently are) or The Grateful Dead version (when Jerry was still alive)?

I can see why Sharon & Co. would get pissed at Dickinson for mocking Ozzy's need for a teleprompter and for mocking their reality show. But the honest truth is that if the guy's too old & senile to remember lyrics that he's been singing for 30+ years, he shouldn't be on stage. And the fact that they did a reality show is a fucking joke. Sharon & Co. should realize that what he's saying (or said, I guess) is accurate and thus not be mad.

Laz, I wouldn't worry about the Fiend tat ... it's not like the Misfits are a flavor of the month, so their legacy (of brutality ... sorry, bad pun) will still be strong. And it's not like you jumped on a bandwagon with them, you've been a fan for years. I don't have any ink, which is surprising because I've wanted one since I was like 14 and have been in the studio to get one done repeatedly. It's just something's always come up that prevented me from getting one, and I figure I'm too old now to get my first one. That I disagree with ... I have a huge piercing fetish, and it takes a huge amount to be 'too much' for me. I mean, my on-going intarweb crush is Marie of the Suicide Girls, and she's got half a dozen or so facial pierces, and even that's not too much.

Paul Jones, I think, also had Superstar Billy Graham before his face turn. He also managed Manny Fernandez and "Shasta" (Pistol Pez) Whatley when they turned heel against Jimmy Valient. And, if memory serves, Fernandez & Rude when they were tag champs, but I might be wrong with that. RE: The Varsity Club. It was originally Rotundo & Steiner with Sullivan as the manager, and then Williams joined. Shortly thereafter Steiner was punked out of the group and became a face. If I remember correctly (a big if in this case) Danny Spivey had a brief run as part of the VC, too.
