People that say that women reporters must be sleeping with athletes (or executives!) make me laugh. Why presume that they are shacking up with an athlete that they cover? Is it that hard to believe that they might just be good at what they do? And why a woman would get a sideline gig (or a comparable role) over a male is pretty obvious: Men watch more sports than women. Men like looking at good looking women. Thus, it makes sense to hire a good looking woman to cover a sport. If you guys would rather see Eric Dickerson on the sidelines than Stark or Bernstein, suit yourself. Especially to a 3 year deal; 5 years was too long, IMHO, and just the one year QO was basically "we're trading him at the deadline regardless of our position in the standings". The B's will have two solid lines now (Thornton/Muzz/Scatchard, and Sammy/Bergeron/Zhamnov) plus more third and fourth liners than you can shake a hockey stick at. As long as Raycroft plays anywhere near as well as he did last year in the regular season, the B's have a good chance of winning their division.

When a move so blatantly needs the cooperation of an opponent, it loses it's luster for me. Yes, I recognize that MOST moves involve some level of cooperation (e.g. we've all seen the Undertaker & an opponent mis-time the Last Ride and have to use a double-effort & arm strength to get the guy up when the jump is timed wrong) ... moves like this are like some of the CW flippy-floppy moves ... they just look way too contrived.
