The Meatmen ... it became extra comical when I found out that Tesco Vee was a former schoolteacher.

There was one scene (which I can't specify, since I don't know how to do spoilers) where pretty much everyone in the theatre laughed at an inopportune time ... as soon as we all quieted down, someone yelled out "how was that funny?!?" There were quite a few scenes that were LOL funny.

Nick Boynton ... I remember being at a game his rookie year and Primeau cheapshotted a Bruin (yeah, big surprise there) ... even though he was unproven, smaller, and less skilled as a fighter Boynton went right after Primeau and dropped the gloves with him. He didn[t win the fight but held his own, and that's exactly what I look for in a hockey player: sacrifcing himself to defend his teammate. I was also a huge Ken Belanger fan, and was uber-bummed when he went to the Kings. And was even more bummed when his brain got scrambled in a fight and he had to hang up his skates.

I've been very vocal about hating the idea of a shootout so I'll skip rehashign what I've said repeatedly in the past ... but I don't think that they're adding the shootout to win back old fans ... they're adding it to win over new fans, who really weren't hockey fans in the first place.

How could I hate it? It wasn't the least bit scary. It just seemed like they kept throwing out "Look, this is overly meant to be disturbing for the sake of...overly meant to be disturbing." Movie provided a couple laughs in the first few minutes, but is a complete throwaway otherwise. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's why our views on House are different, methinks. I couldn't even begin to guess the last time I was scared by a movie; maybe when I first saw the Exorcist as a pre-teen. Horror movies are NOT scary to me because they're not real ... so if I said that I hated a horror movie because it didn't scare me, I'd hate all horror movies.

That better be the extent of the change ... why does Bettman need to whip his vagina out and piss all over the legacy of the league?

Wait ... are you implying that the NHL really should have rigged it so the Rangers got Crosby? Considering that no team is as responsible for the situation that the league was in (e.g. overpaying for players) than I think even if they were going to rig it, they'd have rigged it against NYR. And trust me, outside of NY, fans aren't more or less likely to watch a hockey game based on how the Rangers are doing. And what the fuck does that mean? What should the league have done? A lot of my animosity for Paige stems from living in CO as a Pats fan when he was writing for the Post, just pissing on them for losing to the Donkeys each year ... but a lot of my animosity towards Paige stems from the fact that I consider him an idiot. Man, Lushus, we disagree BIG time on this.

I voted 1 ... I won't even pretend otherwise, I'll be at the former-Fleet for the first B's home game, and probably making a trip to Montreal and maybe Toronto for a game up there, too. And getting the hockey package on On Demand. Yes, I'll still hate Bettman and Goodenow, but I love hockey more than I hate both of them.

How could anyone hate Ho1kC? Yes, it's not the most developed of horror flicks, but I really think it's one of the best American horror flicks in the past 5-10 years or so. I do agree with NCMike, it does kind of become a clusterfuck about halfway into it, but that's not really unheard of in the horror genre (I mean, look at the Miike flicks: so many of them make little-to-no sense at times). I'll be seeing this tonight with a friend of mine, who's a big horror fan as well. Our original plan was to actually take today off and see it at the matinee showing, but stupid work is just WAY to busy for both of us and thus it'll have to wait until tonight. Lushus, I'll give you the lowdown this weekend if I get the chance to go online. Lastly, how fucking hot is Sherri Moon Zombie?!? EDIT: She'd be hotter if the picture actually worked ... I swear.

They split the PT in the regular season but I'm pretty sure Vernon got the bulk of time in the post-season that year.

Add me to the hater list ... but I was never a huge fan, so I don't know if I count. I find some parts of each episode funny, but the misses outnumber the hits for me. And the A-Ha reference was funny for a few seconds, but then dragged on and on and on. And not in a way that was supposed to add more humor to it (a la the puking scene or the 'Stewie talking to Brian about his book' scene) ... it just seemed to drag on too long.

I was actually kind of being facetious with my bestiality is comparable to skiing theory. But having said that, I'm a lot less against bestiality if it's not forced on the animal (e.g. if the dog or horse is pitching, compared to catching). It's not like they can force a horse to get a boner and then fuck the guy. But the horse really doesn't have a say if some guy sneaks behind it and then fucks it. Neigh means no.

It's funny, I've been wondering what Arroyo would do if the Sox traded him ... his album cover shot has him sittin in Fenway, he covers Dirty Water, and has teammates appear on the album with him. All of the above would be kind of stupid for a guy that plays somewhere other than here.

Summer: cargo shorts, khaki colored or camo. Long sleeve t-shirt under a polo/golf shirt, monochromatic as often as possible. If it's too hot for the double-up I'll wear a button down and roll the sleeves up most of the way. But I ALWAYS wear long-sleeves. Sneakers: Saucony's. Winter: Same as summer but long cargos instead of shorts. Huge fan of hoodies as well, have about 15 zip-ups and another half a dozen or so pull-over. Shoes: Boots, normally a pair of Docs that I've had for years that are broken in just perfectly. Depending what I'm up to, I sometimes still roll the jeans skinhead-style, sometimes I don't.
