I agree on not understanding the marijuana subculture. Although, technically, I have more hate for it than confusion from it. For a good laugh, check out the documentary Weed, it's on the Sundance Channel or on that free movie thing on digital cable. Makes you want to fly to Amsterdam just to punch the American tourists in the groin. And, re: what 420 means ... no one really knows for sure how it started, and now it's just ubiquitous (spelling?). And I have to amend my earlier statement of only knowing one person that was hooked on meth ... when I was doing Phish tour, I encountered dozens of 'em. Didn't know them personally, but was surrounded by them and had to deal with them. Meth == teh overrated.

y'know, Max ... that's actually pretty accurate. The only time we'd ever interact outside of work would be at stupid corporate functions (e.g. 'the office holiday party') and even that would just be sitting there saying how little we like our co-workers for a few hours.

My ex girlfriend is a meth addict ... she's the only person I know with a problem with it, though. So it exists, but it can't be too widespread. I think it's just that meth addicts get arrested for doing dumb things, so it makes the news more often.

I used to think that a lot of you were still wrestling fans ... it actually seems like most of us are just people that used to be fans but still post on what is - technically - a wrestling message board.

Question about Hogan "popping the buyrate" ... are there really enough people that care to see that old man do the same shtick that he's done for 2 decades to cause a noticable bump in the buyrate? It's not like anything shocking or amazing will happen, and it's highly unlikely that it's really his last match.

re: the Brawler renouncing the Yankees for the Red Sox ... it works to get cheap heat in NYC, but what now? Will he be the Boston Brawler from now on, or is everyone just supposed to forget it ever happened?

I couldn't agree more ... it's like he thought he was immune to anyone wanting to vote him off (no immunity reward entendre meant) and thus he could blatantly try to align with Steph without any repurcussions. And I don't get how anyone would risk getting eliminated just for doughnuts, cookies or pizza. You can buy many doughnuts, cookies or pizza with a million dollars. You know, for everyone's complaining about them cutting talent, it looks like they did so just to make room for newer guys. Yes, they cut a lot of the wrong people (or more accurately, didn't cut the right ones) but at least there's SOME new faces.

I'm the same way ... I lurked for a while and just read what others were posting, and then finally just joined. And TSM has been a better place as a result.

I skipped them when they played with Maiden, and would have skipped them in Hampton, too, by just leaving after Monster Magnet. Fuck Monster Magnet. I got tickets to their show at Hampton Beach Casino & Ballroom w/Motorhead, and heard that MM isn't going to play after all. So now I'm stuck with tickets to a show that I really don't want to see. And this is the 4th local show that Monster Magnet had announced and then canceled in the last year or so.

I'm actually not that insecure ... I kind of dig being disliked for no apparent reason. If you can't be the most popular, might as well be the least. Or something like that. And is that second wicked mean the literal way, like when Professor Griff said that Jews were responsible for most of the wickedness in the world? Because I know how much you hate the Jews, Black Lushus (reference to the racial debate in HD) I think we've reviewed this before, but I have to ask again. If my least-likability is rising, am I becoming more liked, or more disliked?
