The fan: should have been arrested. Not sent to jail or anything, but have had to appear in court and face a fine, and get a mark on his record. And most assuredly lose his season tickets. And I think that the guy WASN'T trying to hit Sheff ... but he should have been smart enough to stay off the field (even if it was just his arms). Sheff: should learn to just walk away and let the drunk get 86'ed. He should face a small fine for reacting at all. "Yankees Suck chants": nothing pisses me off more than this chant, especially at non-Yankees game or non-baseball events. I had a guy from the Bruins scouting staff buy me a beer at the Sports Grille for trying a "baseball sucks" chant as soon as the "Yankees suck" chant died down. It wasn't baseball season, and the B's weren't playing the Rangers ... no reason for a Yankees suck chant. And big ups to the small security guard that ran in and jumped in the middle ... his good reaction might have prevented an actual disaster.

Bad news, Lushus ... I saw 'wicked' all the fucking time. I mean, I say it a sickening amount. Even my friends and family mock me for over-saying it. I don't even realize it, but I say it a real lot. edit: had actually typed "a wicked lot" but realized it only when I hit "post" ... had to change it to "a real lot"

Thanks, Kotz. Right back at you. (and I'm not just returning the complement ... I speak the truth.) For the most part, everyone on TSM that I didn't like has either left, been banned or just created a gimmick account less annoying than their real personality. There's really no one left that I don't like. Hell, I even like kkk, even though his hatred for me grows stronger by the day.

Favorite: Locke, then Jin, then Kate (because she's got two things that fire me up in a girl: she's hot & a criminal. Least favorite: Walt & Michael (OMG, racist, ban plz). I just don't dig the kid as a character, and the father because of it seems like he's incapable of understanding how to act like a better father. There were like 3 episodes in a row where Walt'd be mad at him and he'd make no effort to be like "what's up, what can I do?" and instead would just act like a bigger asshole and make Walt more mad at him. No adult - even someone with no experience raising a kid - would be that incapable of trying to mend the fence with their kid.

While we're talking ... why do blacks seemingly hate Jews so much? And one for black AND white posters on TSM: why do some people seem to be taking this so fucking seriously? And who cares if someone says "ask" or "acks" or "the" or "tha"? I personally probably say the former for the first pairing, and the latter for the second (I actually said, "I'm going to the bar tonight" out loud to see how it sounded; it's actually closer to "thu" when I said it). Oh, and one more: how come so many Irish guys have small dicks? I haven't seen any personally but all my Irish friends joke about the "Irish curse" ... is it because the potatoes?

Chirst, and I was defending you on this one. No wonder I fucking hate you... Didn't know I really needed defending ... and FWIW, I dig the Fry Mumia theme as well. But now I'm confused ... if this reiterates why you fucking hate me, what did I do initially to earn your hatred? And if it helps any, I agree with you on the fuck you vs. fuck you all debate. re: the Powers of Pain. I'm surprised they didn't show the weightlifting challenge where Animal had his orbital bone broken. But, the payoff to that was that horrid barbed wire match featuring Dusty, so maybe they didn't show if because of that. I also wouldn't have minded seeing them turn on Dusty & Sting, with the infamous spike incident and then the turning on Sting in the 6-man tag match later. Even without those things, though, this DVD set is a must buy.

I have Fractal ("the purple-haired chick") in my avatar because she makes little nl5 stand at attention. And the fact that - before seeing this thread today - I haven't actually looked at an avatar in like 6 months and thus I never think to change mine. Bah, I'd keep her anyway. But having said that, now that I've checked yours, I dig using Towlie as an avatar ... he's the only thing on SP that makes me laugh with any real consistency. I actually wish there was a way to see how long things have been in place (e.g. I haven't changed my sig, my member status or my avatar in FOREVER ... I wonder how long each has been in place.)

I have a hard time reading a site that can't differentiate between citing and sighting. It doesn't take a high-level of intellect to proof read the articles before distributing them.

Not to state the obviously, but my first thought after reading this thread: Stern fans believe his "the gov't is out to get me" spiel, non fans do not. I personally stopped liking him when he got into his "every other radio show & TV show in the world is a copy of something that I've done" phase. The little bit that I've listened to is even worse, as now that's mixed in with his "I hate Bush, America is doomed, blah blah wah wah" rhetoric. Yes, the censorship people got on his ass, but I really doubt that the FCC is really concerned with Stern as an individual, in comparison to being concerned with the all-encompassing decline in civilized entertainment on the radio. My life is not any worse because I can't hear the word "blowjob" on the radio while driving to work.

As much as I'd love to agree with you, Lushus, I just don't see how the Pats can get there again. Losing their two coordinators, plus the defensive on-field general in Bruschi, will be just too difficult to overcome. For the first time in a few years, they'll be reliant on other teams helping them out (e.g. underdogs upsetting favorites in either the Wild Card round or the 2nd & 3rd round of the playoffs). And I still think teams will be gunning for them, playing above their norm, so to speak.

Hey, Lushus, on October 30 & December 11 (and the days leading up them) ... we're not internet friends. I don't fraternize with the enemy. Perhaps a little friendly internet wager? And regarding the Two-Time Defending Super Bowl Champions ... I think it's time we as fans experienced a bit of a let-down. Count me as thinking the same as KingPK, it looks like a 13-3 or 12-4 season this year. I'm thinking they make the playoffs (winning the East) but have to play the wildcard game (which I think they'll win). After that ... who knows?

Which is good, because every time I saw the worm I said to myself, "Man, I wish this had some sexy new movements" ... seriously, who would write something like that?!? And I don't get why people are complaining about the spinning belt ... it really is no worse than the custom belts that they made for Austin, et al. The best thing that they could do is do what they do with the Big Gold Belt and have it be the same but with the name plate removed and replaced with one with the current champs name.

I rooted for the heels since the day I started watching wrestling; the Road Warriors were the first 'faces' that I rooted for, and even then they still wrestled and acted like heels. Most of the people that I watched wrestling with hated Hogan, too. The few faces that they liked were people like Dusty or Magnum TA. Not everyone was a Hulkamaniac.

I played a bit my first year of college, but mainly because it was a course right on campus that was free and a good excuse to walk around and get stoned and enjoy the nice Colorado weather. Then a girl got her nose broken by an errant throw and they tore down the 'holes' and moved the course to an off campus site. I wasn't enough of a fan to actually travel there just to play, so I stopped playing.

Pretty self-explanatory ... every day we all read all sorts of anonymous bullshit online, and I figure a good chunk of it are lies. (after getting called out or pwned on a message board post) 1) 14/f/FL What do you guys think are the best/worst, or at least most common, internet/message board lies?

If you were a celebrity, would you drink a some random cocktail that some random stranger sent over to you? I sure as hell wouldn't. After I saw Iron Maiden last year Bruce Dickonson came into the bar, and some twat that was there bought him a beer and ran over to him to give it to him (keep in mind he was there with his wife/girlfriend/whatever she was). Dickonson thanked him but didn't drink it & kind of turned his back to the guy as a non-verbal way to say "piss off, I'm here with my girl, not to make small talk with a tool". The guy stormed back to the bar, muttering and swearing. I saw the same kid in the hotel the next day, and he was STILL pissed off and was complaining to strangers about what an a-hole Dickonson was. Moral of the story: don't send a stranger a drink unless you're prepared for it to be unwanted.

I don't think all that was in the next episode ... I got the impression it was a montage of what's upcoming the rest of the season, not one single episode.

Lushus, I'd recommend skipping the actual list of 'rules' and just go to the pissing match between swan & me and Slayer. Actually, I can make it easier for you: poster a: (posts list of rules that has been posted & mocked repeatedly) poster b, poster c: mocks poster a, and the set of rules poster a: gets defensive (truthfully, though although not unjustifiably) and angry (repeat above two steps a few times) poster a: says he's just joking Damn, even after dumbing it down, it's still pretty painful to read.
