If they reference any real details in the article, then it's a spoiler (e.g. "after Eddie turned on Rey at WM" or "after their heated argument on Smackdown"). If it's just a vague, and even pretty predictable, presumption, then it's not a spoiler. I remember one of the Apter mags had a cover story of the Warrior saying "the IC title is not enough" before he became part of the world title scene ... wasn't a spoiler then, wouldn't be a spoiler now.

The fans don't get behind Shelton because they don't have real reason to. Give him a good 'blood feud' (not literally, more of a 'filled with hatred & rage feud') against a legitimate heel, and people would get behind him. Or, even better, turn him heel and give him a 'filled with hatred & rage feud' against an over face (Jericho?) and I think that they'd have a very over star to build around for a long time. And count me among those that'd like to see Haas switch to Raw and feud with him.

I missed the beginning part when Jake came out - somehow an interview with Randy Orton isn't must see TV for me ... but the first thing that I thought of was how sweet it'd be for Jake to 'mentor' Randy about how to face Undertaker, and then turn on him at some point and teach him to "never trust a snake". But then I realized that it'd make Orton the face in the whole deal, and since that wasn't happening I realized that Roberts was the next 'legend' to be killed.

That's exactly the first thing that I thought of, too. It'd be a sweet way to use Michaels in a high profile feud without having him go over people 10 years younger than him.

I'm just surprised that a hick like Matt Hardy digs 7 Seconds. Lita, I'm not surprised since people have talked about her connections with the DC punk scene, but Matt? No way I'd have guessed him to be a 7 Seconds fan. Use your head. Be aware. Give a fuck.

I agree with DVD spree ... why mock the post that actually includes accurate, grammatically correct punctuation?

Shows you won't admit to your friends you like
nl5xsk1 replied to UZI Suicide's topic in Television & Film
I don't watch it anymore, but that's only because I've seen every episode so many times it's not worth watching anymore. But I used to be a pretty big Full House fan. And I never hid it, it was always pretty open. -
Did you see Kim in that immunity challenge? She took one shove and went flying backwards. It just wasn't James' fault. If she put up a fight, she might still be around and Koror might have to kick someone out.... bah, who am I kidding. Yeah, but no one expected anything from her; it was presumed that she'd lose. James portrayed himself as a leader and an asset to the team, and failed miserably in the reward challenge and had a chance to be the savior in the immunity challenge and blew it. I have no real issue with Kim getting the boot, I just felt it'd have made more sense to 86 James now and get rid of Kim the next time.

Does anyone actually know why Test & Stacy broke up, or is everyone just presuming it was her dumping him because he lost his job? For all we know, he was a dick about it and said, "it's me or the wwe ... if you want to stay with me you've got to quit your job there" and she realized that he wasn't the one for her (or something equally lame) and ended it. Or maybe he broke up with her. Or he cheated on her. Or any of a million other things. To a lot of us she's the cutest girl on the roster.

I think that the Celtics should win their first round match-up and - depending on the match-up - have a legitimate shot at winning the second round, too. It'd be incredibly lucky for them to win the East, to say nothing about the championship, but they can hold their own against most of the middle-of-the-pack teams in the East, and thus their getting to the Eastern Finals wouldn't surprise me at all.

razazteca already said them both, but I think that Menace II Society is the best "black ghetto" movie & American Me is the best Latino one. /white kid that was born in suburbia

Shows you won't admit to your friends you like
nl5xsk1 replied to UZI Suicide's topic in Television & Film
I'm the same as Glove ... Extreme Makeover: Home Edition ... except that I full-on admit to people that I watch it, even though it is embarrassing as hell to admit. Other shows would be those lame MTV "reality" shows like the challenges, PowerGirls, True Life (or whatever it's really called), Made, etc. -
While Kim does absolutely nothing to help, James was the reason that they lost both the reward challeng and the immunity challenge ... I'd have voted him off, and 'saved' voting Kim off for a time that no one else deserved to be eliminated. Plus, watching Kim in her bra was one of the highlights for me this season; I miss her already.

Can I completely deviate and say that I'd choose either an all "Original Six" division or an all Canadian division rather than either of our arguments? I'd rather see the Bruins play the Wings, Hawks & Rangers six times a year than the Sabres or Senators. (I skipped the Leafs and Habs because both are currently with the B's). And I'd rather see the Canadian teams play each other more often, build up those rivalries. Agreed.

Does sitcoms still/really have studio audiences?
nl5xsk1 replied to syxx2001's topic in Television & Film
I always thought that "That 70s Show" had a really blatant one, too ... I haven't watched one minute of that show since it premiered because of how distracting I found the laugh track. -
Do you imagine Failed Mascot gets an erection
nl5xsk1 replied to Giuseppe Zangara's topic in No Holds Barred
The only time that I notice who else is reading the thread is when there is a mod there, and that's just because the little lines change color due to the color of their names being different ... for the most part, though, I really don't notice who else is reading what I'm reading. -
Yes, I think he can be successful as the rich & powerful guy that throws his money around just because he can, like Ted Dibiase, but a whole lot less talented. And, I agree that his gung-ho jingoistic persona would have made him a better US champ than world champ.

Wait ... were you really just sitting there, looking to see who was viewing this thread? Wow. Did you know that sometimes people read threads while you post in them? Yep ... already knew that. But I rarely, if ever, pay much attention to who else is reading or lurking in a thread while I'm there. It seemed like you were paying enough attention that you noticed that he was in the thread, then out, then in again, at least a few times. Not mocking you or anything, just found it strange that you'd spend the time to see who was coming or going in a particular thread. -
An excerpt from nl5xsk1's future autobiography: "It was in 2005 when my studdering problem made it from the real world into my post on message boards. It was then I knew I hit rock bottom. I would be a male prostitute months later." As long as I'm selling my sweet, sweet body to the ladies rather than other dudes, I'm a-Ok with that. And the repetition in the previous sentence was intentional, in compared to the cooking cooking debacle of this morning. nl5xsk1 - not proofreading his posts since 2005 nl5xsk1 - stealing Rippers "since (certain date)" spiel since this post

Czech, I don't think that it's an automatic that close = rivalry, much the same way that distance doesn't mean that teams can't be rivals. Your Colorado-Detroit example is a perfect example of the latter. But I think having teams play in close proximity to each other helps add to the rivalry. I went to a Toronto-Buffalo game a few seasons ago, and there seemed to be as many Leafs fans as Sabres fans there. The place was electric with energy, and it seemed that the players were feeding off it. Plus, look at match-ups like Calgary-Edmonton. Even when both teams are down&out there seems to be something extra in those games. And I feel it's the same way with Toronto-Ottawa; the fact that they have annual playoff battles certainly helps, too. Replace Blackhawks with Rangers & Red Wings with Bruins and this statement is still true. Although I will concede that there were the years that the Leafs were in the West and thus played the Wings & Hawks more than NY and Boston. I will give you that the chance to have a Toronto-Montreal Cup is pretty sweet, though.

On the kkk scale, I was probably a 5, or just shy of it. Certainly more than a 4. I signed up for freshmen football but was kicked off the team before the first game; after that, my athletic career was over. I also set the school record for quickest a student had ever earned a Saturday detention; second week of my freshmen year. (although I'm sure it's been broken since) On the other hand, I was in the student government my last two years. But I ran as a joke my junior year, using the pictures Pamela Smart gave to the student that killed her husband, in her lingerie, saying "Vote for nl5xsk1". (although I did use my real name, rather than my message board name). I didn't expect to win or anything, I was just joking around & trying to make a mockery of the whole thing. I ended up winning with the most # of votes a student had ever gotten. I didn't run my senior year but enough people voted for me as a write-in candidate that I ended up winning again.

Dude, the kid was 17 years old ... why would he need parental supervision to make brownies? And he didn't jerk off into the brownies, he jerked off onto them. He frosted them. I blame that cooking cooking with cum message board that someone posted a few months ago ...

If you don't care about the number, than why do you want or need a mod to restore your former post-count?

Didn't Arnold's association/demands for with or for TNA kind of cost him his job? I heard that somewhere, maybe on the radio, and they made it seem like he was ousted because of what he wanted compared to what FSN wanted.
