It'd be plenty easy to 'fast forward' time during the summer/offseason months. Basically, instead of staying in line with the each episode == X number of days, the time that the show is off the air during the summer could equal a longer period of time, or something. Or just kill off the kid. He sucks as a character (and actor) anyways.

I echo what's already been said ... ... thanks for doing all this. I know that it's something that you dig, so it's not work per-se, but it's got to take a ton of time & effort, so thanks for doing it. ... pictures would definitely be a good addition, especially if you have some rare or obscure shots ... take as much time on the back-story as needed. That's the stuff that's really interesesting, the behind the scenes things that weren't really well known before.

A flute with no holes is not a flute. And a doughnut with no holes is a danish.

Why does that take balls? I sported one of those for a few months late last year, before shaving the beard part of and sticking with the fu-manchu that I still sport today. I agree with those that say it's due to his friendship/fanship of Lemmy & Motorhead.

As much as it pains me to use wrestling terminology to describe a TV show, I don't think we've seen the last of heel Sawyer. Just because he gave the gun back to Jack, and has done the right thing for a bit, doesn't mean that he's all that good yet ... if nothing else, the fact that he didn't tell Jack about his old man, or didn't talk to Sayid about what he heard in the jungle, leads me to believe that Sawyer still doesn't like/trust/care for the other people on the island.

I think that people that said that last night's episode was forgettable are daft. I had to watch last week's and last night's back-to-back, and found myself with a finger on the FF button during the Charlie episode. Last night's, though, was the best episode in a while. Other than the fact that Sawyer having a feud with a boar (which I thought was kind of stupid and out-of-character for the series) it was a great episode. And I didn't think that it was too random that they trusted Sawyer with a gun ... it's not like they had a ton of choices about who to bring with them, and Sawyer had given every indication that he'd be ready & willing to use a weapon on a man. Why give it to Charlie or Hurley or Michael, and risk that they'd get stage-fright when it came time to either shoot or not?

You could say that about just about anything, though ... people that get too into anything is wicked annoying to me. Oh, and re: the movie .... I dug it. It's not the be-all-end-all, but it's a movie that can be re-watched, which is what I like in a film. Definitely buy it.

I've said all along that the owners will win this pissing match because the players will blink first. Too many players NEED their NHL salary money to really survive; a lot of the players playing overseas are earning less than they would in the NHL, and some are actually losing money because of insurance and whatnot. Once the smaller players break ranks, the mid-level guys will follow. The "elite" might not come back, but I blame the people like Jagr, Yashin, Pronger, Holik, Guerin, etc, that were making $9-million+ as much as the owners, and thus would be fine without them.

I'd buy the DVD in a heartbeat if they had the dog collar match, unedited and in it's entirety.

If the Cup is canceled this year, it'll mean that there really is a Red Sox curse: both of the last 2 times the Red Sox have won the World Series the Cup was canceled the following season. Needless to say, I hope the Red Sox never ever win another World Series. Go Yankees!

This technically might belong in the TV folder, but ... MTV is a joke, during an episode of Made (don't ask why I was watching it) they played in the background a song by The Freeze, a kickass old-school Boston punk/hardcore band. Needless to say, The Freeze are NOT the type of band that MTV has ever shown, or would ever publicize, so to play them in the background pissed me off.

I don't know if this counts or not, but it always struck me as strange that the ECW fans were so into Sid when he was there for that small run. Yes, I know that it was after ECW had blown up and thus there were marks mixed in with the mutants, but I always thought that it was strange to see him get such big reactions.

I couldn't agree more ... the point out that poker gets bigger ratings, but don't mention that they show poker at the same time every week (which they don't do with hockey), advertise poker during their big shows/sporting events (which they don't do with hockey) and make lame-ass TV series dealing with poker (which they don't do with hockey). I'll fully admit that I'm biased, but if they gave hockey half as much attention as they do basketball, it's ratings would improve greatly. I think they did. Late December was the first. Then I think they had 2 different deadlines in January. And now this one.

Isn't it Panzerfaust records? And aren't they closed because they found out that the leader of the WP record company wasn't actually white?!? My choice: I got a Phish bootleg that had a white power "rap" song called Six Million More (I think) as the filler on it ... one of the lines was something along the lines of "I need a lamp shade/made out of Jew-skin" ... even though I'm partially Jewish, I had to laugh my ass off.

The first one that came to mind was JAX over Buffalo in week 1, with the game winning TD pass getting thrown as time expired. /sorry, Lushus.

I don't understand your "what?", Franchise ...

Wonderful. After months of "Jeff Hardy's on crack/heroin/whatever/LOL!!!!11oneone" jokes, we now potentially have Christy's on something accusations. Maybe she's just hyper to begin with and is actually a bit shakey because she's nervous about being on TV and in front of several thousand people in the area.

Reading something on the internet does NOT make it true.

Congratulations, WJM ... I guess people should stay off the sidewalks in your hometown, eh? I actually got really lucky when I had to take my test, the girl that gave me my driving test knew my older sister, so my test consisted of a right out of the parking lot, a right onto the next road, a right onto the next road, a right onto the next road, a right onto the main road that I first drove on, and then pull into the parking lot and into an open spot. It took me about 90 seconds. Nothing beats being an unprepared driver with a legal license.

I haven't seen the other two yet, but happened to catch the commercial in last night's Smackdown ... I thought it was fucking hilarious. Stacy did a better job acting than she's ever done in promo or angle, and Chris, Chris, & Chris were all hilarious. And I really don't get the "but these have nothing to do with Wrestlemania" whiners ... the one that I saw was in the middle of an episode of Smackdown. Methinks that 99% of the viewing audience is already well aware that Wrestlemania is coming up. Plus, ads like these are more likely to catch the eyes - and thus the attention - of a random viewer than if they just showed wrestlers or "divas" in their normal roles or environment. (and I'm guessing that the wrestlers all had a good time doing these spots)

I know that, Mascot, I just wanted to take what Czech said and take it one step further. Having said that, though, I really think that Milloy expected there to be a huge dropoff in the secondary once he left, and the fact that there really hasn't been one must be pissing him off something fierce.

If the next announcement isn't something like "Goodenow & Bettman announce that they're stepping down due to incompetence" I think I'll puke. One of their main job functions is keeping the PA and league (resp.) running smoothly, and since they're both failing miserably at that I feel both should lose their jobs as a result. I'll reiterate my guess about what happens next year: the first part of the season is missed, but shortly thereafter the players that can't afford to miss anymore time start to break ranks and cross the line, willing to play under the owners demands. Once enough cross, the NHLPA will crumble and a new, improved league will be born. /doubtful

Actually, Milloy is bitter that he got cut and then was replaced by a converted CB that has gone on to play every bit as well, if not better, than he has.

If I was unGodly rich, I'd buy all thirteen days and name it "Jerry Jacobs is a Jackass Center"
