Oh, the old "lose weight becuase of a drug addiction" trick; one of my favorites when I was out West. Nothing's better than looking at a picture of yourself and barely being able to recognize yourself because you're not only 20-30 lbs lighter, you also have no idea where you are when that picture was taken. Good rule of thumb: want to lose weigh? Pick up an addiction to powder.

Coldplay - Shiver (hey, it's what came up on shuffle. It's not like I chose it or anything)

As little as I'd like to see the Dudley's win the tag titles again, it'd be kind of neat to see them pull the Freebirds routine of any of the three can defend the belts, and so their opposition would never know which two of the three to prepare for. And, like CanadianChick said, it'd be nice to find out why the bigger Dudley's are letting Spike be the alpha of the pack.

These shows look golden ... this was in one of the eras that I didn't watch wrestling, so I've never seen any of these shows. I'm sure the actual wrestling sucks, but a lot of the angles look entertaining. Even if it might be in a 'so bad that they're good' kind of way.

Sick Of It All - Clobberin' Time (well, not the very opening, I tend to FF over the KRS-One introduction and then just start at the bass)

Uhhhh, Laz? Is there a third option? Are my only choices talking metal or taking a crap with a bunch of other guys?

I've actually given thought to 'retiring' from TSM on my 30th birthday. Most of the people on this board are fine, and rarely do I feel like I'm so much older than people. But it seems like the trend is that most new posters are getting younger and thus a generation gap is starting. The only thing stopping me from calling it a day on my 30th is the kkk pick 'em contest, and even that could be remedied by emailing my picks.

Inc, is the Suicide Girls site really that lousy? I'm thinking of joining but I won't if it sucks. I've seen some/most of the models in yahoo groups and whatnot and there are a few that I really like. But if it sucks and stuff, then I'll save my money. -
wmd, I'm unsure if that question is aimed at me, or someone else, or just out there for anyone to answer. So, I'll give a response. Yes, his behavior was uncalled for & unprofessional. It was something that a green rookie would do. Or a guy that can't control his rage (a la Scotty Steiner). Guerrero isn't green, a rookie, or known as someone with anger management issues. But this is now the third time that he's lost his cool in the ring, because of fans. Once was too many in my eyes. Should he be suspended/fired/anything else? No, not at all. And I've never suggested that he should be. But should someone sit him and down and remind him what's expected of him, and maybe give a "next time we might have to punish you" type of warning? Yes, definitely. I wouldn't even be against a small reprimand like losing at house shows, or a small fine. Guerrero should know better than to ask a fan to "be a man", and if he needs to be reminded of this, then someone should remind him.

Even if you're not going to read the rules & regulations, use some common sense. Follow the lead of the people that have been here longer than you. Don't challenge a mod. If someone offers constructive criticism (even if it seems like they're being assholes) grin and bear it, and learn from it. Message boarding isn't hard, people.

Invisibility, but not for the TnA (well, yes, for the TnA but not ONLY for it). If I could make myself invisible I'd ... ... take enough money from casinos, bars, etc. that I'd never have to work again. ... sneak onto an airplane and fly everywhere that I'd want to go. (hello, weekly trips to Amsterdam) ... make sure the Bruins win the Cup at least two or three times a decade (sneak onto the ice & interfere with the other team's goalie, trip a guy on a breakaway, etc) ... extract sweet revenge on those that have wronged me in the past. I could go on, and on, and on, and haven't even touched upon the number of girls that I'd see get all nekkid. Invisibility >> Flying.

Regardless if someone is a face or not, they shouldn't have these types of interactions with fans. Period. It's like when Albert Belle or Tie Domi get into it with a fan. People (e.g. the media & fans) shit all over the player and say how unprofessional it is. But when a wrestler does it it's supposed to be acceptable? If it's part of an angle or a way to build heat I have no problem with it (e.g. when Flair calls someone in the crowd "fat boy") but when it's obvious that the wrestler is breaking character, it's not right. How come no one started a thread about this 16-year old girl takign off her shirt and changing right there? That's a better news story than Guerrero losing his cool again.

The last Spielberg movie that I liked was 1941. The last Cruise movie that I liked was Risky Business. I don't foresee this big budget debacle knocking either of those off their top-spot. Survey says: nl5 will never see it.

Best Week Ever isn't bad ... most of their 'celebrities' make me laugh, so it's a show that I'll watch if I happen to catch an airing. A2Z, on the other hand, is unwatchable. There's not a single person that I've seen on that show that make me laugh. I don't know their names, but the two guys that appear to be a comedy 'tandem' are brutally unfunny. (How people on this board say that they're funny is inconceivable to me.) This show reminds me of the Blender Magazine "50 Worst Songs of all Time" in that I've never heard of any of the people that they hired to be funny on the show. And these no-names aren't funny. If you can't afford to get the B & C list celebrities that appear on things like "I love the (fill in the decade)" then don't bother with the show.

The million dollar question is: You've got a gun with only one bullet ... which one do you shoot? Me, I shoot him. She's annoying and all, but at least she's got a level of eye-candy to her. He's a tool that seems to get hot trim repeatedly. Male jealousy makes me shoot him first, even though she'd be a whole lot of fun to eliminate as well. -
You weren't reprimanded for your thread ... you were reprimanded for saying that you weren't interested in reading the rules. Big difference. If you hadn't gone off the handle, you'd still be in good graces with nik. (I think, correct me if I'm wrong) But you didn't, you blew up and that's what triggered your punishment.

You won't have to read the rules now. In fact, you won't have to read this forum at all. Thank God. Who cares if Eddie got into a verbal confrontation with a fan? Bubba Ray Dudley made a career out of it. BuhBuh did it as a shtick and a way to generate heel heat. So far, Eddie has had one physical confrontation & two verbal ones (or the other way around, my memory's not that great) ... all as a face, and none of which were meant to generate heat or interest in the show or angle. Apples & oranges.

Eugene', I'm really not slamming you, just pointing something out. It seems that - for whatever reason - the newer posters on TSM are the ones that have had problems. I've been here for longer than I care to think about, and have yet to be warned, or suspended, or ban-nihilated. There are a ton of posters that have been here longer than me, or have been more active than me, or both, that also have managed to not earn a reprimand. I read the thread that got you suspended, and really don't disagree with you that people jumped down your throat. But you didn't respond as you could have, and really should have. I'm not going to get all biblical and say "turn the other cheek" or any of that shit. But don't post responses like ... You're just asking for trouble when you do that. Just ignore them and then they'll turn their attention to something else. Just my $0.02.

I definitely agree with the 4H comparison ... because it's just so obvious that that's the exact thing that HHH is patterning this whole Evolution thing after. With himself cast in the Flair (leader) role. *My problem with it is that I'm thinking like it's real, and what someone would do in real life. **Regardless of what HHH (or Flair) did in the past, at this moment it's Orton that is supposed to be considered the best in the business, so if Batista wanted to be cool with the big dog, he'd actually stay with Orton. (*yes, I know wrestling's not real.) (**yes, I know that Orton really isn't the best in the business, but was given the belt because of his relationship with HHH and to erase Lesnar as the youngest champ.)

As much as I consider this to be non-news, the honest answer is that it is likely to trigger a real conversation ... it seems that everytime that Guerrero has an altercation with a fan the board is split between those that say what he did was justiable and those that say what he did was wrong. So, while it's not big news, I actually think it does deserve it's own thread. And having said all that, if Guerrero really did challenge a fan to 'be a man', he should be reprimanded in some way for it. Unless he was physically assaulted, he has no excuse for getting into it physically with a fan (or even TRYING to get into it physically).

As long as the creator of the Bare Wench Project is Ok, quality film-making will still exist. (having said that, it sucks for anyone to have to die young, especially in a shit-awful way like drowning because you're strapped into your seat.)

DK, I agree that it'd have made sense for Flair to side with HHH, but not necessarily for Batista to. Why wouldn't he - in a real-life scenario - side with his peer, who he'd probably have more in common with, rather than side with people from a different generation (including someone old enough to be his father in Flair)?
-
Did HHH turn on Orton too soon? No, not at all. As a character, all HHH cares about is himself & being champion. So, if he needed to end a friendship to get a chance at 'his' belt, it'd make sense that he'd do it immediately. Did Flair & Batista turn too soon? Hells yes. Like has been said previously, it should have been a "who sides with who" type of scenario, where both Flair & Batista maintain a 'friendship' with both HHH & Orton until a time that Evolution disbands. Why would Flair & Batista immediately side with HHH over Orton? It doesn't make sense. /awaits the first "you still expect WWE writers to make sense?!?" response

He's already off of the pregame show ... didn't he get replaced by Sharpe? (who's even worse IMHO) And, Tom, I have to disagree with you ... he'll get schooled by younger, faster WRs because he won't be able to clutch & grab anymore, which was how he had to play at the end. He's lost at least a few steps, and a team that has any level of depth should be able to send a burner out there to leave Sanders in the dust.
