I don't think face/face feuds work that well ... too many fans need one person to cheer and one person to boo. In a face/face feud, some of the dimmer fans get to confused and the angle ends up losing heat as a result. It's time for a break in the Angle/Lesnar feud, so putting Angle and Cena into an angle makes sense. It'll still be one of the biggest matches at the PPV (along w/ Lesnar/Taker, Eddy/Show, and the McMahon circle jerk.) And while it won't propel Cena to the top of the ME scene, it doesn't hurt him to be rubbing elbows with people like Angle. And if it expedites his entry into the ME scene, then it's good for the company. Lastly, the only person who EVER talks about the Edge/Angle feud is AS, so I don't think that it was the career killer that it gets described as. Was it the best use of Angle? No. But in the long run, did it hurt Angle's credibility at all? No.

I'm presuming that I'm going to seem wicked low-brow with this comment, but I've only seen part of the movie, and it was a while ago, so all that I really remember about it was how hot Bijou Philips looked. IF the Rock does come back for one more match (and note that I said IF and not WHEN, because I don't think that it's a guarantee) I don't think that he should be forced to put someone over. It detracts from the value when it's obvious that he came back for just one match. I'd say let him get his win, let his fans enjoy it with him, and then let him go on his way. I'm a Rocky HATER and I'm saying that. Sometimes, giving the fans something to cheer for is better for business than just giving someone one win. And if his movie career bombs, it's not like he'll be forced to go back to wrestling. Look at Steven Seagal (I think I spelled his name wrong) or Jean Claude Van Damme ... both of them are still making movies, even though the movies aren't huge hits.

the only show that's a Must See in my life is The Simpsons. Other than that, there are a few that I stop on every time I see them on (Reno 911, The Chappelle Show, So Little Time) but don't plan ahead to watch them or anything. Amendment ... if you count sports, any Boston Bruins hockey game or New England Patriots football game are Must See TV.

I wouldn't have to change most of what I say and do on this board if the new rules were implemented, so I have no issues with any/all of those being changed. But I do have one question ... why is there an asterisk in n*gger and f*ggot, but not in jap, kyke, paki, dyke, etc? Personally, with the urban over-use of n*gger (e.g. rap songs) that word has become MUCH more accepted in society than kyke. If you're going to asterisk one of them, asterisk them all, methinks.

People shouldn't get so hung up on a team's records ... it's only been 3 weeks. It's not nearly long enough to have a measure of a team's skills or strength. A team being 1-2 shouldn't be viewed as being better than a team that's 0-3, just because they won a game. Conversely, a team that's 3-0 isn't better than a team that's 2-1, just because they haven't lost yet. And having said that, the Patriots are the worst 2-1 team in football, but only because of their injuries. Losing Washington, Colvin, Vrabel and Ted Johnson simultaneously, while also having an injured Ty Law, does not bode well for my Patriots. They should beat the Redskins, but if they lost I wouldn't be surprised. For the injuries alone, I'd have dropped them down 3-4 places on the list.

If I had been accused of rape, my company would suspend me with pay until the case was resolved, for several reasons: the negative publicity, to keep the customers from complaining, to keep my co-workers comfortable, etc. If I was found guilty, they'd fire me. If I was found innocent, they'd reinstate me and recognize that I wasn't guilty. I fully recognize the "innocent until proven guilty" theory but to suspend someone with pay isn't calling them guilty - it's just doing the safe and sensible thing.

As much as it might come back to bite me if he does become a mod, count me as someone that wouldn't be stoked if Banky became one. First of all, there's just not enough of a need for additional moderators right now, and to add one just for the sake of adding one seems dumb. The cliche "Too many chiefs, not enough Indians" comes to mind (no offense meant to our Native American brethren). Let's wait until there's a need for a new mod, and THEN add one. Plus, Banky doesn't seem like he's earned the right in my eyes. Petty battles with Barron doesn't earn a mod role to me.

I listen to music all day, every day while at work. Between the songs saved to my hard-drive, the various places to find songs/setlists/radio stations online and CD's that I bring in, I have no issues finding something for every mood or situation. It's gotten to the point that if I don't listen to music, the silence is distracting.

After seeing her last night, I'd have to add Lita to my list. I dug her way back when she was Miss Congeniality in ECW, but then went through a stretch where she didn't fire me up. She fires me up again, so add her to my list of guilty pleasures.
