I've never been one of those people that masturbates to someone that they really know, consider a friend, or interact with. And you count as two of those three, Leena. You know how sometimes the 'loser' in a competition is - in the long run - better remembered than the winner? The person that fell short is remembered in a better light than the person that ulitmately was the victor? The underdog that fought the good fight but just couldn't sustain the momentum enough to carry themselves to a hard-fought win is immortalized, while the favorite, that ended up winning, is quickly forgotten? This isn't one of those times. I already forget who Slayer beat in the final 4.

I fully agree that the top line has been head-and-shoulders better than any other line on the team ... strike that, head-and-shoulders better than all three other lines combined. I do, however, think that in the half-a-dozen games that Isbister's been back, him & Murray have been playing well as 2/3 of a second line. If they had a center that was even halfway decent, they'd be a good 2nd line. Instead, they have Reasoner struggling to keep up with them. If the B's can add a legit #2 center they could have a good second line to play behind the Sturm/Bergeron/Boyes line next year (and the first person to suggest Zhamnov, even as a joke, gets an e-punch).

I'll have to be honest, Porter ... I was just being a smartass and C&P'ing that post because you said that you wouldn't read it since it was by chaos. It's not necessarily my real feelings. In my eyes, this is a chance for everyone to prove how they really feel about the whole situation. If Michaels' really does want to distance himself from the whole screwjob, he has a perfect chance to put his money where his mouth is and to not be at the ceremony, or if he is at the ceremony, to NOT fuck around with Hart. If Hart really wants to thank his fans for everything, he has a chance to give his speech and then be done with it. He can even go as far as to specify that he won't be at WM and that he has nothing to do with the Michaels/Vince storyline. And Vince, well ... I guess I have no idea what Vince has to prove. He's already proven that he's not over the whole Montreal incident, and doesn't really want to be. I guess this is his chance to start cleansing his image.
