The mediocre Aaron Brooks would be an improvement over the Brooks that's played in NO these last few years.

"So, I saw the Wizard of Oz the other day. Why was that Dorothy chick so bent on going to Kansas. The movie sucked, they didn't tell us why she'd want to go there. Maybe there was a hint about it in the beginning, but since it wasn't interesting to me I just didn't pay attention until the movie switched to color." -nl5, doing his fanofcoils impersonation. fanofcoils, a little hint for future movies: you might want to pay attention while watching the movie. Sometimes, just sometimes, the stuff that they're showing MIGHT have something to do with the movie as a whole. Or if you're not willing/able to pay attention throughout, you might want to keep your laughably ignorant 'reviews' to yourself.

Other than the big scene with Gale at the end, it was pretty much a 'meh'/build-up episode. While the Jin/Sun flashback was good, and showed good character development, the pay-off was weak. Sun's line "Yeah, I was trying to trap the son of a fishmerman." was painfully harsh ... and made me laugh out loud. The timing of her realizing that she's pregnant seems off, though, in my opinion. Wouldn't she have realized that she was late a few weeks ago? I was also kind of let down that Gale said "your friends" and "they" went looking for the balloon. How'd he know that AL didn't go alone? Or that she went at all. All he knows is that he wrote up a map mid-day the day before ... for all he knew no one had left yet. Lastly, it occurred to me that finding the balloon doesn't necessarily mean that it was Gale's & his wife's. He COULD still be an Other, and that someone else crashed their balloon on the island. If/when AL, Sayid & Charlie find the balloon, I hope that someone has the where-with-all to realize that it's not absolute proof that Gale isn't an Other.

After reading that attempt at humor, I change my vote. The_Amazing_Rando > Carnival.

Thanks bud, I appreciate it. I still have quite a few fans so don't worry too much. I did pretty well in the first round of the TSM posters tournament too despite having to go up against the obstacle of having people vote against me for the sole reason of trying to stay "cool" and "save face" with other TSM posters. I voted against you because you suck as a poster, and as a gimmick. The fact that it helped me stay "cool" and "save face" was merely icing on the proverbial cake.

I might join myspace just to be one of her buds. I <3 Ashley.

An AWA DVD is coming out soon ... hence, Sherri, Mean Gene, Verne & the Blackjacks, all of whom have history in the AWA. Well, I think the Blackjacks do, I might be mistaken.

Take the wrestling talk to the wrestling folders, ladies.

RE: New England "turning" on players when they leave. It depends on how they leave & why they leave. Antoine Walker is still beloved around here; Joe Thornton is pretty popular still; Ricky Davis will probably get some love if/when he returns as a visiting player; Ray Bourque was given louder cheers as a visiting member of the Avalanche than the entire Bruins organization was the day he came back. Even Bledsoe still gets some love from the local fans. The above all either left the right way or left against their wishes. Someone like Milloy got trashed because he slammed the organization on the way out. Same with Ty Law. Damon will catch hell more for going to the Yankees than for leaving Boston, really. And people like Jason Allison got shelled upon their return because it was all about the $$$ for them. My guess is that the reaction upon Vinatieri's return will be based more about how he acts & what he says in the coming days. I don't think his on-field physical toughness was being questioned. His being pushed around by TO, without doing much to defend himself or put TO in his place was being questioned. I might be wrong, though.

Maybe there are regional differences, Lushus. Plus, it's not like either of us are really deeply imbedded in the gay group sex scene.

Here I sit, so broken hearted, Tried to shit but only farted.

Good to see the Bruins play another 'meh' game and choke a 2 goal lead AND give up the game tying goal in the final 70 seconds. It was like the Byron Dafoe era all over again. At this point, the B's should really be playing Raycroft like he's the #1 goaltender, and hope that he shows enough of his rookie-year form that a team wants to trade for him in the offseason. They have three decent Goalies (Toivenen, Thomas, & Raycroft) and should really try to move one of them for a decent position player. Toivenen's still hurt, so can't play, and Thomas would likely bring in less value than Raycroft. Raycroft is the one that makes the most sense to trade, and thus should be given some PT to show that he's worthy of acquiring. Plus, it's not like the B's are making the postseason regardless of who's in net.

You know, when three guys are having sex at the same time, and one guy is both pitching & catching simultaneously (think of a club sandwich, the middle slice of bread) ... the guy in the middle is called "lucky Pierre".

Good news. Thanks. And I try to read Eddie Winslow's craptacular posts. The lack of actual paragraphs or comprehensible sentence structure ruins them for me. The little bit that I read before quitting is never funny enough to justify the effort, anyways.

Let's not go too far with the compliments, Special K. Let's not say things that are blatantly untrue.

Umm ... your tits look nice in your avatar picture, too, Carnival. The best I can do on such short notice, hopefully it's good enough.

If you DO meet him, Paragon, I'd advise that you don't shake his hand. You really don't know where that hand has been.

While I worry about accusations of being "lovey" (Carnival) or an ass-kisser (Leena) I will say that you look quite chestacular in this new picture.

Yeah, a loss in game 1 will be enough to bring the 'sault back in DY.

Long time reader, first time poster ... how globally known is it that the Chinese were after Jack & he had to fake his death? I was thinking the same thing, that Jack is one phone call away from being in deep trouble with the Chinese gov't, but since this is the first season that I've watched, I didn't know how accurate that thought was. Would a German Agent know what went on with Jack & the Chinese last season?

Uhh, I don't know how to tell you this, WP. Wrestling's fake. Undertaker is "one of the toughest on the roster" because he's been booked to be one of the toughest on the roster, not because of any innate toughness. The "toughest" real thing that he's done is get SARA tattooed on his neck, because that would hurt like a son-of-a-bitch. But everything he's done in the ring ... it's predetermined.
