    Tipping at lunch

Cash. Money left on the credit card needs to be reported on their taxes at the end of the year. Paper money is off the books. I'm with al, but only if the service is good. If the service is good, I want to give them the opportunity to report the minimal amount for a tip and then pocket the difference. If the service sucks, I tip on the card, which means that they have to report the full amount of the tip.

    Charles Mingus - Epitaph

To show how little I know, banky ... is that a p2p filesharing thing, or is it legal & safe and all?

    2006 NFL Off-Season

Well, I was half-right ... 2/3, technically, because I guessed the Willie to the Browns correctly, and the fact that both Willie & Givens were going to be overpaid. I'm sad to see McGinest go, the guy is literally one of my 10 favorite Patriots of all time ... but I'd rather see the Pats let players like him & Givens go than overpay to keep them.

    Charles Mingus - Epitaph

Mingus is easily my favorite jazz musician. Coltrane & some others are close, but the fact that Mingus gets mentioned as an afterthough more frequently than the other legends gives him an edge in my book. Not sure if that makes me borderline "elitist" or anything; it's just a sad truth. And since this is as good of a thread to ask in as any: does anyone know a good place to download jazz online? I've grown tired of what I have, and don't want to have to resort to going to the library to borrow & DL their discs.

Evidently my stock has plummeted in Leena's eyes. Not quite sure why.

Most forgettable stint in a promotion

^ Yes, without the nickname "Big Bully" Busick, and just as Nick Busick, if my memory serves. Other than that subtle change, though, I think his look & gimmick was spot-on to the one that he used in the WWF. Which is what always struck me as strange about his signing: he never did anything that impressive pre-WWF, and yet was allowed to still run with the same shtick, where-as most everyone else that they signed was given a craptacular new gimmick.

I presume that I'm part of the Clique B that Czech refers to. I don't dislike you, Czech. You and I get along fine. Let me know if I'm supposed to hate you, though, because I'm willing to do my part & fulfill my contractual obligations.

Let's do some spring cleaning on folder subtitles.

TSM Poster Tournament IV: Round III

In my most difficult decision of the tournament, I have to go with kkk. Chave is cool shit, but kkk has been mean to me for years, giving me pet-names and providing the quote that became my custom title ... I can't just turn my back on that. Sorry, Chave, but just through attrition kkk gets my vote.

If this is anyone but Steve Allen, you're stealing my bit. Remember when Krusty was funny? Man, I miss funny Krusty.

    Spring Break plans

I had roommates that went to Cancun when I was in college, but I'd 'drawn the short straw' and had to stay in Colorado and take care of the plants. I did go to California two different times, but those weren't really "spring break vacations" per-se.

    Things we love about Canada.

She's an internet "nude but no real penetration" model. Less of a pro than Aria, but still pretty famous. She's hot, even without the deformed foot.

    Things we love about Canada.

As far as I know, no good, clear pictures of the foot deformity exist. She's always wearing shoes or hiding that foot in her pictures, and from what I've read there was all sorts of ~dramuh~ & threats of lawsuits when other pages started showing 'proof' of the deformity. But the fact that she's never just shown her fucking feet to prove -once and for all- that she doesn't have a hoof is all the proof that niskie needs. /would like to lick the hoof

    Things we love about Canada.

The fact that Kate from Kate's Playground has a hoof. Thanks for the hoof, Canada!

    Your favorite Actor/Actress

Actor would be either Robert Duvall or James Woods. Actress would be .... ummm, I guess I'm kind of like Lushus, in that there aren't any actresses that I just HAVE to see. If I had to pick one, it'd probably be Charlize Theron.

who are you kidding? you're almost the worst of them all. almost. your myspace fuck up cemented your legacy. don't respond to this, by the way. Am I allowed to respond? I'm not quite sure where I stand among the worst of them all, so am just curious if I'm worthy of reading & responding to your posts.

    NHL Thread

CG, I have to agree with max on this ... yeah, Boynton's penalties hurt them last night, but our pal Hal spends more time in the box (at more crucial, costly times) than Boynton does. Boynton's passion & energy helps the B's a lot more frequently than it hurts them. And at least he gives a shit. Boynton should be the next captain of the B's. Period. Bergeron is too young, Gill is too inept, and other than those two, there's no one that makes sense to wear the C next year. (I'd have said Axelsson, but I don't think he'll be wearing the spoked B at all ... and I also think that it's unlikely that Sinden would allow a European to be the captain).

    The Hills Have Eyes

And a 5 minute video montage of NUCLEAR MUSHROOM CLOUDS mixed with clips GENETIC MUTATIONS. How "one can only speculate" after that is laughable. There was nothing subtle about what they were showing.

TSM Poster Tournament IV: Round II

what do you expect when there's a giant shitty poster clique at the moment? Oh, yeah, and there's NEVER been a shitty clique before ... all of TSM is suffering because of this first time occurrence. I hope it can survive.

TSM Poster Tournament IV: Round III

Nah, it's nothing that I'd hold against you ... even if you meant it as a negative. And you already had my vote, man. The only thing that I could think of was that you said (at least I think it was you) that I'd 'no sold' your inquiry about my "among the least liked posters" title ... and I figured THAT wouldn't count as not seeing eye-to-eye.
  21. nl5xsk1

TSM Poster Tournament IV: Round III

Hoff, when haven't we seen eye to eye? Wait, let me re-word the inquiry: do we not see eye-to-eye with more frequency than would be expected? I always thought that we got along pretty well. Well, seeing as we don't even see eye-to-eye about our ability to see eye-to-eye, maybe I'm wrong & you're right.

kkk would do anything for love, but he won't do that.

TSM Poster Tournament IV: Round III

I voted for Lushus, not against you, Czech. There's no one that Lushus would go against that I'd vote for, including myself. The fact that he's so adamant about not wanting to participate makes his winning that much more pleasurable.

    2006 NFL Off-Season

With Givens now a Titan, let me reiterate my desire for the Pats line up Watson as a WR more, and to use him to replace Givens as the #2 receiver. Cheaper than signing a guy off the street, and thus far Watson has proven to be a good route runner. Plus, he's a huge mismatch for DB's ... the idea of some tiny CB trying to wrangle him down is laughable.
